After I have my daughter and used QV range. I found Cetaphil had range for face care. I like the cleanser does gentle cleaning and not dried the skin like the usual soap does. I found that Clinique soap sometimes does dry out skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleanses well, isn't harsh Cetaphil oily skin cleanser is good for the skin. It removes dirt and make-up well. It is smooth to apply. It doesn't dry out the skin. I wet the skin first and rubbed it in and then rinsed. It doesn't contain soap. It comes in a 500ml pump bottle which lasts a while.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle cleanser I am surprised I hadn't reviewed this product earlier as I've been using this cleanser for many years now. I like that it's for oily skin but it's not harsh at all. It's a clear cleanser that foams up very mildly and cleans my skin really well without leaving it feeling tight or dry. I sometimes like to use it with my Clarisonic for a deep clean. It gets rid of any excess oil on my face but it doesn't necessarily improve the blemishes on my face. It's a good price considering the size. When it comes to removing I don't really use this cleanser as I find it doesn't do a good job of removing anything. It's more of a cleanser I use after I've washed my face.

All I do is wash my face and then apply a light moisturizer then my makeup and I get no dry patches. It has really helped control my oily and combination skin which makes me a happy customer. I have tried a lot of face washes but this one always stands out to me and is a real winner.

I find that it is far more gentle than most other brand name cleansers and it does help to keep my oily skin at bay.<br />The only issue is the fragrance. It has a mild fragrance however those who are sensitive to fragrances my find this product a bit triggering as the scent can be a bit overpowering, kinda like baby oil. Other than that, this product is just really gentle and effective for just a daily cleanser.

My skin is very sensitive and at the time I had a very raised rash due to an allergic reation to another cleanser. She suggested this one. It is a nice product, doesn't foam up very much but does the job. It doesn't have any fragrance and leaves skin clean and fresh. The only downside is I personally like a bit of fragrance and this just doesn't have any but it's perfect for use when my skin has flared up.

My skin doesn't feel stripped and dried out after using it, as past cleanser have dried out my skin. It is also great at removing my make up. It is great value for money and I will continue to use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice basic cleanser Cetaphil is a brand whose products I’d generally always recommend for their low price, lack of irritating ingredients and good results, and this cleanser is no different. It’s a good basic cleanser for oily, combination, or acne prone skin that’s soap free, non-comedogenic, and dermatologist recommended. I give this one the edge over the gentle cleanser for it’s added ease in removing makeup, which the gentle version doesn’t do as well. It comes in a clear, gel formula that foams up very slightly and wont leave skin tight or dry. The scent is a bit odd as some have mentioned, but it's certainly not a deal breaker for me. A good option at a good price.

The consistency of the product is a gel like clear formula and works very well for oily/dirty skin. It is recommended by most doctors for acne and is very effective. Previously I had been using clinique facial cleansers for oily skin, as it was the only other product I had found that got rid of the excess oil and prevented acne, whilst not drying out my skin too much. This product is very similar but has a much more appealing price tag.

Within a week for using this I could notice that most of my blackheads had disappeared and my skin was looking so much clearer. The cleanser is a clear gel consistency which is easy to apply to the face but it doesn't foam up too much. It has a bit of a weird smell but it is bearable. It also works great at removing make-up and gets pretty much all of it off in one go.

My skin is normally oily and the cleanser really helps to remove the oil. But i've noticed as time has gone on, some of my old pimply skin is coming back. I occasionally get the odd pimple but other than that i would recommend this product

I like the fact that it it isnt heavily fragrenced and that its not a product that focuses on sales through the appeal of packaging rather there is a focus on the quality of the cleanser.

Been using this product for 2 weeks and I can feel my skin softer, with less oil (on my forehead, the only oily bit on my face) .. it does not foam up for me like some others have claimed above, nor it's fragrance free.. mine one smells really nice. I hope with time it gets rid of the oil all together

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cleanser :) This cleanser is really good, although it's a mission to get it to foam up to the point where it feels like it's actually cleaning. But in the end, it removes all signs of dirt and impurities. Sometimes it leaves my skin red, but I haven't turned back since using this cleanser as it keeps pimples, dirt and oil at bay.

Using it morning and night it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft without drying or leaving my skin tight.<br />It is really gentle on the face, doesn't foam or lather and just feels so nice to massage in.<br />My only negative is I find the smell quite unpleasant.<br />But the results in oil reduction are amazing!<br />I would definately recommend this to anyone with oily skin!<br />It's affordable too and the big one in the pump lasts ages!!

Picked this up for around $10 at priceline - but they're having a 15% off sale on now til 23rd may :D<br />Anyway~~~ it is a really good cleanser and i do recommend it for anyone who's tried a bunch of cleansers - like me - and still havnt got the results they wanted, its worth a try (:<br />only thing is, it doesnt foam ): I thought it would have because the back of the bottle mentions something about it foaming...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from REALLY does its job This product definitely does its job of removing oils. Although I personally do have very oily skin i found this product to be overly stripping. I found that my face would end up even more oilier throughout the day as compensation for all the loss. However don't turn away from this product too soon I reckon a very very good moisturiser would definately help with the results of this product if you want to give it a second chance. I personally have turned towards the cetaphil moisturiser for sensitive skin and found that that works better for me.

It's gentle and makes my skin feel refreshed and clean. Although, I haven't noticed any differences to my skin's appearance since I started using it, which was about a year ago.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from couldnt see the difference I used this for over a month in the hope that it would control oil, not just remove it when i cleanse.<br />I cant say it was much different to other cleansers i have tried.<br />Maybe i need to give it another go for a longer period of time, judging by previous positive comments :)<br />I just worry about the ingredients used in products formulated for oily skin :S

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No clean enough Maybe it's just me, but if a cleanser doesn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean, I feel it has not done enough to remove all the dirt and oils from my face. I have become quite obsessive with my skin being as clean as possible, and I find that this cleaser doesn;t leave my face feeling as clean as it could.
