Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effectively moisturising I've ran out of my Nivea Hydro Care so for a change purchased this one. It's not as moisturising as Hydro Care but still provides enough moisture to alleviate lip dryness. The SPF is a great plus.

No colour and no real flavour either. Suitable for men who may be hesitant to use lip balm. Sunscreen included is a nice bonus. Applicator easy to see and hold.

This lip balm is quite a greasy, thick formula which is great at providing a hydration barrier. I especially love the SPF inclusion, making it great for days spent outdoors. If you don't like a 'heavy' sensation of product sitting on your skin, you may not like this product.

The scent is pleasant and once you can get it on, it does the job. It would be nice if the formula was creamier.

This new formula is so bad, it’s too thin and oily and comes off straight away. I’ve managed to buy as many of the old formula lip balms I could find and now I’m running out and still have not found an alternative that is anywhere near as good as the old formula after looking for over 6 months and trying different brands. Bring back the old formula!

Brand name said quality as well as I chose core and protect as just that. After applying at night and during night, I awoke with a much worse problem - totally chapped, peeling, sore lips. Will now have to find something to fix and tolerate terrible peeling for days. Feels like an acid facial. Will never recommend or use myself again.

Unfortunately it did the opposite and actually dried them out more and actually made them more sore. I tried this lip balm again once my lips were healed as it was the only one I had in my bag at the time. Straight away it made my lips dry out again. I had to throw it in the bin.

I will not be purchasing it again and would not recommend it to anyone else. Why change something that had nothing wrong with it? (Let's be honest, it's always about 💰)

I pick my lips a lot and this chapstick would repair in a day. Now it has a greasy feel to it and makes my throat feel funny. so devo :( bring back the old formula!!!!!

The previous version was so much better, thick and moisturising, and stayed on my lips for a long time. I used to buy this specific lipbalm in bulk, and now I’m sticking the new ones in the bin.
