Desitin Rapid Protection Nappy Rash Barrier Ointment immediately protects skin from nappy rash.

The rich, thick formula of DESITIN® contains zinc oxide to immediately form a barrier to help soothe and comfort baby's skin from nappy rash, providing up to 12-hour long-lasting protection for your baby's tender skin. This formula is dermatologist-tested and hypoallergenic. It protects skin from prolonged exposure to moisture and external irritants, making DESITIN® your trusted partner in comforting baby's skin from nappy rash.

Directions

After cleaning and drying the entire affected area, apply ointment gently without rubbing each time the nappy is changed.

But I cannot stand the smell of it unfortunately. I was given a tube of this a few years ago, & found the same. I think it smells a little better than it used to, but still too much fish oil smell for me.

The product for me had a weird smell very thick cream a little goes along way. The product definitely left a protective barrier which was great but for the famous poo explosion it just made that experience even worse. Would I purchase the product again,no only because the tube will last me my whole life time. I like a product to work and have multiple functions. This product is great for nappy rash and if you just want to hang around at home.

Now their is still residue even when wearing night time nappy. the formula has obviously changed and not as effective.
