I was excited to trial Revlon’s Super Lustrous Glimmer Lip Oil as it promised nourishment with a hint of shimmer. After testing it out, I found several aspects to love, but also a few areas where it fell short. Right off the bat, I was impressed with the packaging. The tube is compact and travel-friendly, making it easy to toss in a purse or pocket for on-the-go use. The applicator was another highlight for me. It picks up just the right amount of product for an even, mess-free application. Unlike some glosses or lip oils that require multiple dips for full coverage, this one glided on smoothly in one go. One of my favorite aspects of this lip oil was its texture. It struck a nice balance—smooth and moisturising without feeling overly oily or slippery. Some lip oils can be too runny, making them feel like they slide right off, but this one had a slightly sticky consistency that helped it grip to the lips. The hydrating formula left my lips feeling soft and nourished, which was a huge plus. I noticed that even after the product wore off, my lips still felt conditioned rather than dry. Unfortunately, longevity was a downside. I found myself having to reapply every two hours, which is fairly standard for a lip oil but still a bit disappointing. While I didn’t expect all-day wear, I was hoping it would last longer before fading completely. Eating and drinking sped up the fading process, so this definitely isn’t a product that holds up well through meals. One of my biggest letdowns was the lack of actual glimmer. Given its name, I expected a noticeable shimmer or sparkle, but instead, it delivered more of a subtle shine with a hint of colour. While the glossy effect was pretty and natural-looking, it didn’t provide the “glimmer” I had anticipated. If you’re looking for a shimmery or glitter-infused lip oil, this may not be the best choice. However, if you prefer a soft, juicy-looking shine with a sheer tint, it still creates a flattering effect. Overall, I enjoyed using Revlon’s Super Lustrous Glimmer Lip Oil despite a few minor disappointments. The hydrating formula, smooth texture, and easy application were definite wins. However, I do wish it had longer staying power and a more noticeable shimmer. That being said, I still found it to be a lovely everyday product that adds a touch of colour and shine while keeping lips soft. Would I repurchase? Yes, especially for days when I want something lightweight and moisturising without the commitment of a heavy lipstick. While it may not be the most long-lasting or sparkly lip oil out there, its comfortable feel and effortless application make it worth considering.

What I liked about this product was how glossy and hydrating this felt on my lips. It wasn’t tacky or sticky and didn’t dry out my lips. The glimmer gave an element of dimension and shine that was so nice! If i had the option to change anything about this product, I would have liked to see the shine/hydration last longer without needing a re-application. I also would have preferred the colour to be slightly more subtle but that’s down to personal preference. Overall, a really decent lip oil that gives my lips that healthy glow that i love. Would definitely recommend this product for that effortless glassy lip look!

It is a lightweight formula that isn't oily or sticky on the lips. The packaging is cute and the perfect size to put in the handbag for touch-ups throughout the day/night. The formula is unscented, which is really good for people with sensitive skin. Overall, I quite like this product and find that it leaves a nice shimmer on the lips to make them look fuller and plumper without the price tag. Although the only downfall of this product is that I find it doesn't last a long time on the lips. Otherwise, I rate the Revlon Super Lustrous Glimmer Lip Oil 4/5 stars!

It has a light tint, a nice shine, very hydrating and leaves my lips (after it wears out) to feel soft. Other lip oils and glosses I have purchased in the past dry up my lips and can be very thick. This particular revlon lip oil is more nourishing and hydrating, I think due to its ingredients. It doesn’t have a smell and has a nice smooth texture. Price point in my opinion may be a little too high but other than that I think it’s a great product.

After just a few uses, I noticed a significant improvement in the texture of my lips—they felt smoother, plumper, and moisturised. Another major plus is its non-sticky formula. I love a glossy finish, but many traditional glosses tend to be tacky and uncomfortable. This lip oil provides a beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to apply. Given its oily texture, a little goes a long way for a shimmering glam effect. I love slightly tiny of this lip oil which is great on days I want a natural make up look. Your lips end up looking lush and juicy with a hint of colour to brighten up your face. The only reason why I didn’t give this product 5 star is because it’s not as long lasting as my normal lip balm but this product differentiates itself with the glam up shimmering look. It’s not sticky like a lip gloss and yet it has the same glam up look. I would highly recommend this for girlies who’s looking for a fresh make up look.

It’s Not too oily or slick on the lips. It’ doesn’t have that sticky feeling on the lips. It has a Very nice texture and Leaves the lips feeling hydrated as well as gives the lips a beautiful shine. The only downsides are I expect a bit more glitter as the product does say super lustrous glimmer. And it’s not long lasting. You do have to keep reapplying throughout the day. Overall highly recommend this product. It’s a good buy for the price it’s being sold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried that the gloss would be too Barbie pink on first glance but was happily surprised to find it was a nice subtle shade - perfectly suiting any lip colour. The gloss feels moisturising and doesn’t leave the lips feeling too sticky compared to other glosses I’ve tried. It looks fab with a little lip liner and then the gloss on top when I need to quickly get ready for an event or even just day to day. Great size so can easily chuck in my purse and use throughout the day. Big fan!! Would love to get it in a peachy colour too.

As expected, with a lip oil, the wear time isn’t as long as a lipstick and reapplication is needed. The shade Miss Coral was more sheer than bold so those looking for full pigment might prefer a different shade. It’s easy to reapply with the big wand and applicator and feels amazing on the lips. The applicator is great perfect over size tip. The product itself is really nice no over powering scent and the right amount of shimmer on its own or over a lip stain or lipstick for some added “glimmer” like the name says. Packaging is like your standard lip gloss with an applicator wand - easy to use! The oil colour was Gone Rose and in the bottle looks nice and dark. When applying there was really no colour on the lip which was a bit disappointing. Applying it was easy, went on smoothly and easily, there wasnt a need to over work it into the lips. It lasts for a really long time on the lips, it is super noruishing and moisturising but did feel a little sticky so I has to chose when I was applying it thoroughout the day.

It's a good option when you want something low effort and I think that's what Revlon was trying to achieve with their new super lustrous glimmer lip oil. The shade I received was called 'Glow Mama' which in the packaging looks like a bright orange red. It comes with a large doe foot applicator making it easy to apply. When I applied the product the colour had more of a pinkish hue which was nice. It's a subtle wash of colour so you can see it but it's sheer with a good amount of shine. When it comes to the texture of the lip oil I was actually surprised. I found that it felt more like a lip gloss than an oil. For a lip oil, the texture feels thick on the lips yet not sticky. I was expecting something more on the thin and light side. It's a good product but I think what would make it great is that if it actually felt like an oil and provided more hydration.

It not too runny and doesn't feel oily at all. You just need a little on your lips and it spreads easily so it's very easy to apply. The only issue I found was I had to apply it more often than I thought it doesn't last too long. I had to apply it every two hours as my lips absorbed it all. It's more like a lip gloss as it feels the same. Other than that it is a good product, good size easy applicator and good quality. I also like that it doesn't have any colour and just adds nice shine to your lips.

The formula is lightweight, non-sticky, and gives a beautiful shimmer that catches the light perfectly. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn’t last as long as I’d like—I find myself reapplying more often than expected. I also personally wasn’t a fan of the scent. It has the perfect balance of nourishment and shine, not as shiny as I expected it to be being an oil but it's giving my lips a glossy, luminous finish that’s great for every day wear. The shimmer is subtle. No scent also or irritation caused which is great, as I have quite sensitive skin! Nice product overall, I will br purchasing other shades to try out! I was a little underwhelmed by this product just given the price point in particular seems too high for what it is. It is a good product, smooth and shiny, nice addition to plain lips or on top of a lipstick or liner. It is unscented which may be good for some but for me it felt very ‘plain’ and ‘bland’. It did give a nice shine but didn’t appear to be any more special than a regular gloss half the price. It is a slim and compact package that can fit easily in small purses which is a plus.

The application is soft and the overall constantly is smooth on your lips. There is a very faint shimmer although I find it useless as it’s nearly non existent it could just go without in the formula. It is only visible in certain lights and you really have to look to see it. Given the small amount you don’t feel it in the formula which is a bonus. Nothing worse then feeling glitter on your lips. I find the oil doesn’t stain the lips which would be a nice touch as it does need to be reapplied regularly for it to stay on and be noticeable. Overall I don’t think I would be running out to buy another any time soon as it doesn’t give me any wow factor. Ultimately It a great constancy but having to reapply and not leaving any colour behind makes it not worth it to me. I would give this product a 3 star. If you are after something super subtle and someone who remembers to reapply regularly then this could be a hit - just not so much for me.

I absolutely love the hydration aspects- it kept my lips seriously mousturised (even post 2 plane trips) and the applicator is generous, making it a dream to apply. The colour took me by surprise, being someone that usually steers away from lolly-looking colours it was surprisingly pretty on. The colour pay off is much like a balm or gloss, not huge but as expected. The glimmer aspect I could not resonate with, post application it was like a lip gloss. Making my lips shiny rather than glimmer. The scent of the product also was a miss from my end, smelling rather artificial kind of chemically where I would have rathered either a fruit or even something natural. Would I repurchase it? maybe Will I continue to use it? most certainly

This lip oil does everything it claims for sure. I would definitely say it can go on quite thick if you’re not careful and (maybe an unpopulary opinion) but I was disappointed with the scent. It had almost no scent but maybe slightly chemical scent, I went into assuming it was going to be super sweet and taste delicious. I love the packaging and soft big applicator. Overall not too bad of a product, scent and flavour is only a deal breaker to some.

One thing I like it how the packaging is like a typical lip gloss - it has a sleek, long and narrow tube. Most lip oils I've seen have short and wide tubes, so this design feels more elegant. The lip oil itself feels nice on the lips and has a non-sticky finish that provides shine to the lips. This lip oil hydrates my lips and feels comfortable when applied. However I did notice that the lasting-power of this lip oil is not as long as others that I have tried. I received the shade Miss Coral and since orange isn't really my colour, I tend to use this lip oil when I am at home. It's easy to apply and I like it overall but there are better lip oils out there.

It has a neutral taste and scent, and the doe foot applicator is a large size and squeezes excess product out making for easy application every time. Despite coming in a range of colours (I have Gone Rose), the colour is very, very subtle, and it doesn't really have a 'glimmer', just a shine. For wearing to work and every day use it is perfect, but if you are looking for something a bit more colourful or glittery, I'd consider their Glimmer Gloss range instead.

I found the lip oil to last a number of hours on bare lips and over coloured lips. The larger than usual applicator is great in theory however, if you are using it to apply the lip oil over lipstick, I reccommend dipping an alternative, smaller brush as the larger one can grip and smudge the base lippy. I found the "glimmer" to show far more effectively on bare lips but personally loved the subtleness. The tubing is a good size and the materials seemed to be good quality. Overall, a decent lip gloss addition to the day to day or night out purse.

It was a really nice, firm (but soft) oversized doe-foot applicator. It picked up a good amount of product each time and was really easy and smooth to apply - the product wasn’t dragged across the lips. I liked the fact that the oil wasn’t really sticky like other products, nor did it have a scent. A really nice amount of shine and make my lips looks really plump and juicy although the colour was really subtle even if you try to build it up on its own and not with any other lip liner or lipstick. It was not long lasting nor hydrating on the lips, I would often find myself retouching/reapplying through out the day. It did not leave my lips feeling dry though. If the lip oil was more hydrating or longer lasting I would consider buying it. I would definitely recommend to my friends to at least try it out as they might like something I didn’t.

However it doesn't have any shimmer or glitter in it, just a bit of a shine. It gave me a similar look to lip balm with a tiny tinge of colour. It doesn't make your lips stand out or look super shiny, it just gives them a moist look similar to what lip balm does. It is a good price however I personally wouldn't purchase it again because Id prefer either a gloss with more colour or a lip oil that is an oil consistency and is very light weight.

As a lip oil virgin, I was expecting it to be runnier but the consistency is rather thick like a gloss. Upon application, it's not as sticky as normal lip gloss but you can definitely feel that it's on your lip. It didnt give off any sort of glimmering effect or lip enhancements (poutier or plumper). It has a very subtle colour that can barely be seen on a brown girl. What I did like about it is that despite it's thick consistency, it laid on smoothly and kept my lips hydrated. Would I go out of my way to buy this product? Probably not.

It’s lightweight and non-sticky, making it comfortable to wear all day. It’s unscented, which is great for those sensitive to fragrances, but comes in a beautiful colour that suits various complexions. I really like the applicator—it's the perfect size, picks up just the right amount of product, and applies it evenly without feeling messy or excessive. Although it doesn’t last as long as other products I’ve tried, it’s a great choice for keeping lips hydrated and providing a subtle shine. I find it perfect for touch-ups on the go, especially when I need a quick boost of moisture. While I enjoy using this in my daily routine, I’d probably only repurchase it if it was on special, as other options provide greater staying power. However, it’s still a lovely product that I often reach for! If you prefer a glossy, nourishing finish over long wear, this is definitely worth trying.

The formula glides on smoothly and gives a glossy shine with subtle shimmer, but the color payoff is virtually nonexistent. Despite the shade looking promising in the tube, it appears almost completely clear on the lips, making it feel more like a standard gloss than a tinted lip oil. The texture is a bit sticky, which is disappointing. While it provides a temporary moisture boost, it doesn’t offer lasting hydration, and once it wears off—which happens quickly—there’s no real improvement in lip hydration. Frequent reapplication is needed to maintain the glossy effect. There is no scent, which may be a plus for those who prefer fragrance-free lip products. Overall, Gone Rose is fine if you’re looking for a basic shimmery gloss, but if you want noticeable color, lasting hydration, or a truly lightweight feel, this one doesn’t quite hit the mark. There are better lip oils available that offer more nourishment and comfort. I’m not a huge fan of this lip product and wouldn’t repurchase or recommend, unfortunately.
