General Information

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scalp + Hair Thickening System 3 with results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Nioxin Scalp + Hair Thickening System 3 for approximately four weeks and was fortunate to receive it as part of the Beauty Heaven Trial team. The system includes a peppermint-scented shampoo, conditioner, and scalp spray, specifically designed for normal to thinning, chemically treated hair. Having dry hair and experiencing significant hair loss over the past year, I noticed a marked improvement from the very first use. My hair fall reduced significantly, and during a recent visit to my hairdresser, I was thrilled to hear about new hair growth. My routine with this system begins with rinsing my hair and applying the shampoo to my scalp, then rinsing it off. I like the refreshing peppermint scent of the shampoo. Next, I apply the conditioner, leaving it on for 3–5 minutes before rinsing. Since my hair is dry, I use a generous amount of conditioner, applying it from roots to ends. After towel drying, I apply the scalp spray, focusing on areas with noticeable hair loss. After more than four weeks of consistent use, this system has reduced my hair fall, promoted new hair growth, and improved my hair’s dryness. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Minty haircare [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't heard of Nioxin before this trial, but I have used Wella haircare and loved it, and Nioxin is made by Wella. I have enjoyed using the Nioxin Scalp + Hair Thickening System 3 Trial Kit for the past eight weeks. The shampoo has a refreshing peppermint fragrance, which is quite strong, but doesn't linger in my hair afterwards which is good. The light blue shampoo (which matches the packaging!) lathers well in my hair, and leaves it feeling clean. The conditioner is a thick white cream that moisturises my hair well - I can feel the softening effect when I rinse it out. Finally, the third step - the Scalp + Hair Treatment - is a clear liquid that I squirt directly onto my scalp and hair, and which absorbs easily into my hair. The Nioxin set leaves my hair clean and has protected my colour, which is great. My hair is slightly drier or more tangly than usual - not terribly so, but a bit. I didn't use any other haircare products, so I could really see the impact of this set, but I probably could do with extra conditioner or leave in treatments. I had a bit less hair falling out in each wash, so I think it did have an impact. Overall, a nice refreshing minty haircare set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Losing less hair during wash [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all thank you very much to Beautyheaven and Nioxin for the Scalp and hair thickening system 3 Trial kit. I used the system 2-3 times a week and the kit lasted for about 4-5 weeks. Each time I use it, I see that I lose less hair during the wash. Typically, I lose a handful of hair during every wash. However, by using Nioxin I can see that my hair seem to fall out less. Hair thickness otherwise remains pretty consistent. I notice that my hair feels lighter. The shampoo is a clear blue gel which lathers quite a lot. A lesser amount is needed compared to other shampoos. The conditioner is a very thin lotion. A larger amount is needed compared to other conditioners. Therefore, the condition ran out significantly quickly than the shampoo. The step 3 leave it treatment is applied directly on scalp. I find that it doesn't make my scalp oily, and it does not affect my hair volume. It absorbs just like water. It runs out as quickly as the shampoo (approximately 4 weeks, used 2-3 times a week). Best to use on damp/wet hair. I do need to use a leave-in conditioner to make my hair more manageable, like I usually do. I find that the system does a nice job in maintaining my hair silky smooth. Overall pleased with the results, however would like to see Nioxin sell this kit in a bigger size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Visible new hair growth [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is my first time come across the brand Nioxin and I was very excited to participate in the trial team. I received the Nioxin System 3 wich is suitable for colour-treated or dry/damaged hair with light thinning. That’s me! The pack comes with 3 products, Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair treatment and I have test the products 2 to 3 times a week across few weeks. The shampoo has a strong minty scent which is refreshing. I apply the shampoo on my hair as usual and rinse off. My hair did felt quite dry after use which I didn’t like it. Then I apply the conditioner and massage through my hair for about 30 seconds then rinse off. My hair felt rehydrated after applying the conditioner which I was relieved. Next I apply the hair treatment on damp hair. After few weeks of use, my hair has noticeable difference. I was so shocked to see new hair growth, just can’t believe it. All in all, the a great product with noticeable difference.
