Lady Jayne^® VELOCITY™ Ionic Hairdryer

The Lady Jayne^® VELOCITY™ hairdryer is engineered for maximum functionality, offering precise control with four temperature settings, including a cool shot, and two power settings. Its detachable magnetic concentrator ensures targeted airflow for flawless and controlled styling.

1. Apply volume spray or foam from roots to ends on wet hair.

2. Set your desired temperature and speed setting and blow dry until hair is 80% dry.
3. Section hair using the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Porcupine Radial Brush. Glide the brush from root to tip, creating loose curls by rolling towards the root.
4. Repeat each section 3-4 times. Set each section with the cool temperature setting once hair is dry.
5. Finish by setting hair with hairspray and brushing out with a wide-tooth brush, we like the Lady Jayne Flexi-Glide Brush.

1. Choose your preferred temperature and speed setting, then blow dry your hair until it is 80% dry.
2. Divide your hair into sections using the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Large Radial Brush. Begin blow drying at the roots to create volume, and slowly pull the brush through the length of your hair with tension. Repeat this process for each section until your hair is completely dry.
3. Use the Lady Jayne Aria Wave Air Styler for a smoother and straighter finish. Its protective air styling technology seals the hair cuticle as you style, ensuring a long-lasting look.
4. Complete the sleek look by applying a hair oil.

Directions

1. Plug your Lady Jayne® Velocity™ Ionic Hairdryer into a power socket. Once ready to use, select your preferred power setting. You will notice the LED ring light illuminating, indicating your temperature setting.
2. Select your temperature - use the temperature control button to choose from four different heat setting, including a constant cool setting.
3. The LED ring light will change colours as you change the temperature setting. Select the temperature that best suits your hair type and styling needs.
4. Customise your drying experience by choosing between two power speed settings. Adjust the airflow according to your hair's thickness and desired drying speed.
5. Attach the magnetic concentrator nozzle to your hairdryer and direct the airflow where needed. This nozzle is designed to focus the airflow to allow for precise styling.
6. Always ensure your Lady Jayne® Velocity™ Ionic Hairdryer is unplugged after use and store in a cool, dry place.
7. Refer to the illustration to identify the temperature control button ('D'). Select your preferred temperature. Heat settings and colours as per below:

With my old dryer it took so long to fully dry my hair that I felt like the last remaining moisture be sucked away from prolonged heat exposure. Since using the velocity hairdryer I’ve definitely felt like my hair has become less brittle and prone to snapping especially when brushing through it. It’s also so quiet so I no longer get told off when blow drying my hair at night time which is definitely a plus.

I have been using the same hair-dryer for 23 years and was definitely in need of something less heavy and bulky. When I opened the box I was surprised to see how small this was. It's light and easy to store. The nozzle and air filter at the base are magnetic so no clicking it on which made it a breeze to put on. When I switched it on the back of the dryer lit up blue. I thought this little detail was so cool. Change the temperature to warm and it changed to orange. Change the temperature to hot and it changed to red. Change it again and the colours would cycle through like a rainbow while the temperature changed with it. It was light to use and powerful for the size of it. My daughters were pretty impressed with the details of this. My hair dried quickly and stayed styled for days without going frizzy. I love this dryer and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a compact but powerful dryer.

I have very fine wave hair, and a lot of it, so with other hair dryers I really struggled with how long it took to dry my hair. Ot could take me 40+ minutes to get my hair 90% dry. However, this hair dryer was very powerful. I could dry my hair from sopping wet to 90% dry in about 15 minutes which I never thought could be possible. The dryer is also very ergonomic and allowed me to easily get around my head without leaving my arm tired from its weight. I absolutely love this hair dryer and will continue to use it. My only issue with it is inability to dry it in a way that accentuates my natural waves. Since I dont think you can add a diffuser attachment to it, its pretty much impossible to achieve a ‘plopped’ style where my hair isn't straightened.

Small and compact this could easily be a travel companion and I enjoyed the magnetic attachment of the nozzle. Easy to use and no mishandling a screw top. The ability to have several temperatures to choose from was a great added benefit especially for those with damaged hair. My hair did in fact come out smoother with reduced frizz and fly aways. The only down fall I would say is that I felt it took longer for my hair to dry overall but I’m sure this was actually benefiting my hair as to not use super hot heat. Overall loved the hairdryer and will continue to use it!

This hairdryer is the real deal. Compact and sleek design. Easy to take anywhere including the gym. Short air outlet which means it's easy to follow the brush when I blow dry my hair properly. Colour coded setting. Blue light = cool air. Orange light = warm to hot air. Red light = hot air. Graduation light = cool and warm air rotation. How fancy is that! It's really powerful and dries my long, thick hair in 5 minutes! It is relatively not noisy during use. And I like that when I switches it off, the whole engine shuts down instantly. It may be a big call but at this moment I think it's the best hairdryer I've used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lady Jayne Velocity Ionic Hairdryer I love the sleek compact look of this hairdryer with the big perk that it is pretty light weight. Having such long hair means it takes longer to dry after a wash which means a good old dead arm. Fortunately that isn’t the case here so gold star for that! I previously used my Parlux hairdryer which now seems to be about twice the weight of this one. Functionality wise- it dries hair just as well as any other expensive hair dryer would however I do notice just slightly little less power, but I think this is a great product but as I’ve mentioned, the winning factor here is definitely how lightweight it is.

The LED light indicator for the heat setting is a cool feature which is nice to have. I like that it is lightweight which makes it convenient for travelling. This dries my hair pretty quickly and I was able to get a lot of volume without any extra time or effort put into styling. The concentrator nozzle on other hair dryers I have used don't work properly and always distribute heat into the sections I don't want, however the nozzle on this really focuses the heat only on the areas you want which is great. The nozzle is also magnetic so attaches to and comes off the dryer with ease which I love. Overall this is just a really great quality hairdryer that ticks all the boxes from design to functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by StayC from Love at first use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with this hairdryer, I have no idea how much it cost because all of that has been kept secret but in my opinion it works just as well as one of the more pricey and similar looking hairdryers on the market. I love the simplicity of this dryer, it has three heat settings, cold, warm and hot, which are very easy to change by pressing one little button and there’s a coloured ring that lights up blue, orange or red so that you know what the setting is straight away. There is a simple slide switch to go from off to low speed or high speed and again for me that’s all I need, I usually just use the highest speed setting which drives my short hair very quickly and add some body which is great. I love the look of this hairdryer with its sleek black colour scheme with rose gold accents, the filter cover is actually a rose gold cylinder at the bottom of the handle that just clicks on magnetically so it’s easy to clean any buildup from the machine. It comes with one attachment for concentrating airflow and it clicks on magnetically over the barrel which is really quick and convenient plus there’s less risk of damaging where the attachment connects to the barrel because there’s no force having to click something in and then pull it out again. I find this hairdryer to be relatively light and I really love the shape with the long handle to hold onto and a short barrel as I find it very easy to manoeuvre and I’m not smacking myself in the head with a long heavy barrel, which I may have done a few times with hairdryers in the past. Basically, I love this hairdryer and I will definitely keep using it and I would definitely recommend it.

This hairdryer is fantastic! It is so chic and lightweight (which has been amazing for me, as I have had a major surgery and drying my hair with my normal hairdryer was really hard as it was just too heavy for me), but it does not compromise on power at all. It actually has the same Watts as a Dyson. It would be absolutely ideal for travel as it is as light as a feather, but it is also perfect for everyday use including styling. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new hairdryer!

It comes with a magnetic concentrator nozzle that easily attaches and detaches without issues, allowing users to easily focus the airflow to help precision styling. The hairdryer has a 2 power / speed control setting, equivalent to about medium and high, controlled with a toggle. This allowed me to easily choose the preferred power setting to dry my hair really quickly, and reduces the frizz and flyaways. There are 4 temperature settings including cold, low heat, high heat, and pulsating (cold through high heat), which is controlled by a button. The heat setting can be identified by the LED ring light on the back of the hairdryer (blue, amber, red, and pulsating blue through red). Additional small postive detail is the cord strap, which makes it so convenient and easy to tie the cord when storing the hairdryer. The only issue I have noticed is that the Airflow Filter is magnetically attached at the base. Although the magnet is relatively strong, if you grab and hold the hairdryer by the Airflow Filter it may detach and you might drop the hairdryer. A twisting lock mechanism might be better, but the magnetic attachment does make it easy to remove and clean the filter. The hairdryer has been very easy to use to dry and / or style my hair and compares very well to other high end brands. I have been able to dry my elbow length hair very quickly, leaving a nice smooth finish with reduced frizz and flyaways. I did not notice any dry or damaged hair after using this for a couple of weeks. It compares very well with its competitors! I love this hairdryer and I would highly recommend this hairdryer to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jade P. from Lightweight and tames my frizzy hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this hair dryer comes with variable heat and speed settings which made blow drying my hair quick and gentle.The design is so different to my old hairdryer, its light weight and comfortable to hold and I was easily able to hold it up and aim the nozzle close to my roots and to my brush to get the style I wanted. I love the simplicity of its design including the magnetic nozzle attachment. It doesn't take up too much room in my bathroom cupboard.The ionic technology I believe has calmed my frizz comparing it to my old ceramic hairdryer that blasts heat intensely instead of a gentle flow. It created a smooth blow dry on my particularly thick frizzy dry hair in a very short amount of time. I highly recommend this hair dryer.

Smooth and seemless air flow with a variety of heat settings. I tend to avoid using a hair dryer on my very frizzy and thin hair as it tend to create many unwanted knots and increase frizz. The Lady Jayne ionic hairdryer was just so smooth with the precise attachment and kept my hair voluminous and knot free. I loved the magnetic attachment making this product feel expensive and modern. I noticed I wasn't battling with dry hair after use either, the heat wasn't so overpowering that it burnt/dried out my hair. It provided quick results also and didn't leave me with damp roots. The small design made it easy to handle and super efficient when styling. Overall this product ticks all the boxes, affordable, innovative, fast drying, easy to use and modern, would definitely recommend.

I loved the rose gold touches and how incredibly light weight the device was super stylish. The drying nozzle is also magnetic and just pops on without having to use any force. The drying function comes in two speeds and my favourite function was the ability to change the colour of the drying setting. Each colour coincides with the heating temperature red for hot, blue for cool and peach for warm. My hair is fine and very frizzy, this hairdryer dried my hair very quickly and the nozzle kept frizz at bay. If your looking for a hair dryer that is a dyson dupe at a fraction of the cost then run dont walk to grab yours now. Highly recommended.

Very simple and straightforward from the get go often new electronics worry me to start with but not this. Super lightweight there is a magnetic nozzle that can be attached for precise styling but I like to dry off my hair before I straighten it and aren’t good with proper blow drys so i don’t use this attachment being able to not have this automatically attached is really a game changer for me as I get so much more air to my hair for a much faster result. Out of the two speed settings I use the highest for my thick and frizzy hair as this gives me the most hair flow and heat the quickest way possible. To finish I give it a once over with the cool setting to help prevent frizz while preserving my straight sleek hair. It leaves my hair soft and dry very quickly which is exactly what I want from a hairdryer. I love that when you press the button to select the temp that a colour lights up to coincide with the temp heat is read, cool is blue and peach alternates between both. I’ve already recommended this hair dryer to friends and family and of course would buy it again myself too.

The look and feel is reminiscent to a more expensive competitor, and wow did this Lady Jayne Velocity blow me away. I have shoulder length, medium thickness hair that gets very frizzy when it’s not styled, and it was so quick to blow dry with this hair dryer. The magnetic nozzle helps achieve a smoother style. I love that if you’re short on time, just detach the nozzle for a quicker dry. I also love that it’s simple and easy to use with two speeds. It’s super lightweight, easy to hold and has a couple different heat settings if you have thinner/thicker hair. Would highly recommend.

The dryer is very lightweight and the settings are easy to use. I found styling to be very quick and easy. I have long blonde hair that is quite frizzy and wavy. I was able to dry my hair quickly and noticed flyaways were reduced. My hair was soft after use. I used a straightener after the hair dryer and I noticed that my hair was slick after using the dryer, my straighting time was reduced. Overall, a great product, light weight, compact and doesn't take up much room in the draw and made hair drying quick.

But, this hairdryer absolutely and completely punches above its weight and delivers on every level. I have extremely thick, long, dead straight hair, which is usually time consuming to dry and difficult to get any shape into. The Lady Jane Velocity Ionic Hairdryer not only dried my hair quickly and smoothly, but made it easy to work with the round brush for a great classic blow out. It was easy to hold, and it's design with the weight in the handle makes it fine to hold for long periods of time. The magnetic attachments are a great feature and seamless to snap on and off - would be great to get some other attachments in future. I really liked how simple the settings were, and the coloured ring light indicating heat settings/cool mode was a really great touch so you can see at a glance what you're doing. Even the silicone tie on the cord shows the incredible attention to detail that's gone into this. I also really liked the black and rose gold colour way, it's a tool i'm proud to show off in my bathroom. I would absolutely purchase this again, or even as a gift for family and friends. Every bit as good as the Dyson, without anywhere near the financial outlay.

Favourite features are selecting the heat setting by the colour that illuminates in the ring of colour changes per heat settling for example red = hot, blue = cool. There are two speed settings and one cool setting which I love to blast at the end of blow drying to help with my frizzy/hair. For more precise styling there is a noddle that attaches magnetically. I would recommend this hairdryer to family and friends and would repurchase myself as it dries my hair fast and my hair is left smooth with no flyaways, it’s light to hold and is not loud not loud which has all contributed to making my air drying and styling much easier which is better than what I could have ever imagined.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this to trial as part of the reviewcrew and I have got to say, although it is very deceptively small, lightweight in feel it sure does pack a serious punch! It blasts out the air (it is a little bit noisy) and really gets the job done. I love how the 4 heat settings have colour displays on the back of the nozzle; the cold air setting is blue so the back of the hair dryer is a bright blue when this setting is on, the warmer setting is orange, the third is colour changing which is so so cool! It changes from blue to pink to orange to red and back again, it is so cool to look at. Love the colour changing display, that was my favourite unexpected surprise. And lastly the fourth is red for the hot setting. I found it very easy to hold, it is super lightweight (although noisy). My hair is very long, thick and wavy and within not even ten minutes my hair was completely dry after use. It definitely gets the job done! I quite like this, it is small but powerful and definitely does what I need it to. Love the colour displays, it is such a cool aspect and adds to the sleek design.

I have to say I'm super impressed with how quickly the lady jayne dried my hair, and how non-damaging it felt. I used the warm air setting but I especially loved how it had multiple temperature controls and a concentrator nozzle that helped direct the air flow better for styling. My hair wasn't frizzy and dry after blow drying and overall I loved the design of the dryer itself too!

Given the rising cost of living, I have reduced Salon visits and welcomed high quality Ionic Hair dryer as part of my hair routine. This hair dryer provides super fast drying time with 2 power setting and 4 temperature controls. I could interchange hot and cool hair to adjust my hair styling needs. The Ionic technology meant I could dry my hair with minimal frizz and heat damage to my hair. One thing that was interesting with this hair dryer is that the attachments are magnetic! Just one click and voila, you are ready to use the concentrator to generate more volume.

I was lucky enough to try out the Lady Jayne’s Velocity Ionic Hairdryer which I’m so excited. I have never thought a good hair dryer was necessary until I have used this product. Let's start with the design of the hair dryer, it is sleek and lightweight which makes it easier to hold. The hairdryer comes with 4 temperature control and 2 speed settings which caters for all my styling needs. Also, the hairdryer comes with a magnetic nozzle concentrator which is perfect for hair styling. But most importantly, the size is perfect for traveling because I don’t like to use the hairdryers provided in hotel room. The hairdryer is very powerful and dry my hair fairly quickly with minimum static to my hair due to its ionic technology. In summary, a powerful hairdryer that is lightweight and handy to travel with.

I have used the Dyson hairdryer many times and I'd say that the one from Lady Jayne is similar! The blowdryer component is the same with the round, hollow section in the middle which releases the hot or cold air. I like that when you change the temperature setting the LED ring light changes colour which is so cool and allows you to see which option you have chosen. The noise of the hairdryer is also similar to the Dyson in that it is a bit loud. It also comes with a nozzle if you want to create a more precise blow dry. It does a good job of drying my hair and it doesn't feel too heavy when I'm holding it. For those who don't want to spend the high price tag on a Dyson this is a very good option!

The Lady Jayne Velocity Ionic Hairdryer is a game changer though as I don't think i have ever dried my hair so quickly! The unit itself is compact and easy to handle (perfect for someone like me who is a bit uncoordinated at styling) and i managed to even reach around to the back of my hair quite easily. The different levels and temperatures were great too. My partner was even astounded by how quickly i managed to dry and straighten my hair!

So nice to pick up and hold, and it's quite light so my arms don't get super tired if I am drying a full head of wet hair. The nozzle attaches on easily like a magnet - no tugging and pulling to get this off. I really like this! Love the LED ring - it lights up with different colours depending on how cool/hot it is. Love the various temperatures. My daughter loves the cool-warm mode while I prefer to blast it to maximum heat! LED colours are pretty too! This hairdryer is not as loud as others, which is great! You won't go deaf after drying your hair. Great for kids who hate loud hairdryers!

I can also select my desired temperature easily with the click of a button, with 4 different settings, including cold, medium heat, high heat and a mix of cold and hot. The LED ring light changes colour depending on which heat setting is selected. It is really easy to remember which colour matches the heat setting selected; blue is cold, amber is medium heat, red is high heat and multi-colour is a mix of hot and cold. Personally I like using the multi colour setting, as the mix of high heat and cold air helps seal the cuticle and makes my hair sleek, smooth and glossy. It includes a magnetic concentrator nozzle so I can specifically direct air flow and create a precise hairstyle. Lady Jayne Velocity Ionic Hairdryer has quickly become my favourite hairstyling tool. Strongly recommend.

My hair is very long, wavy and frizzy so I typically have difficulty blow drying it straight after washing it. This hair dryer left my hair straight, smooth and shiny in only 30 minutes. With other hair dryers, my hair still feels frizzy or dry after being dried but because of the strong air current of this tool I've noticed an improvement. The blow dryer has multiple settings and is light weight to hold. My mum and sister have also been using it and raving to me about the difference in their hair!

Its lightweight which makes it comfortable to handle, even during extended drying sessions and comfortable to hold. Its compact size is a bonus, making it easy to store in any bathroom cabinet or travel bag. My hair dried noticeably quicker than any other dryers I have used but still with a smooth, shiny finish to my hair. There are multiple heat settings so good for all hair types and styling. In terms of noise, the Velocity is relatively quiet compared to other lightweight hairdryers I’ve used. It’s not silent, but it doesn’t create a racket or have the shrill noise that you often get from the lightweight products which is a huge plus. Overall the Velocity is lightweight, versatile and efficient and would certainly recommend it for everyday styling
