Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful colour, drier formula [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is divine, such a sleek and velvety feel to the bottle and a lovely for foot applicator. I had such high hopes for these products however unsure if I got a ‘bad batch’ or if this is just how the product is. It was difficult to get any product out onto the applicator, when applying to the lips it was very dry and then some also tacky on the lips, only to dry down in some places and not others. It is a beautiful colour though and I was surprised how buildable it was which allowed you to get a deeper colour If desired. Once the lipstick has dried (you need to give it time to dry as it’s not *instantly* smudge proof) it is then very resistant and smudge proof however if you rub too early it slips right off. I did some swatches on my arm and I had to *scrub* really hard to get them off after 8+ hours.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Long lasting lip tint [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maybelline New York Superstay Teddy Tint is quite different to other products I’ve tried. It has a soft matte finish on the lips, while the product itself is quite a lightweight, almost mousse-like texture. Unfortunately, it has quite a “cheap” and “fake” smell, which I really didn’t love. I also feel like the application can be a little bit uneven and requires a bit of blending to get an even coverage. Overall, while I do like the way this looks on the lips and its staying power, I can’t see myself reaching for this too often purely because of the scent and application.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to wear but was not long wearing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was kindly sent two different shades of this product for review. On the plus side both shades were very easy to wear. Given the products were part of the Superstay family I expected that they would have very long wear time. Over lip balm neither tint stayed on for very long, particularly after eating or drinking. However they did leave a mild stain. I liked that they didn't have a strong fragrance (not even the signature Maybelline vanilla scent) and didn't feel heavy on the lips. As a matte product there was also no tackiness. Overall this was an average product for me but may be suitable for someone who was looking for a comfortable wearing matte lip product with little scent and wasn't concerned about staying power on the lips.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Subtle Tint [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a girly who enjoys wearing makeup but loathes having to reapply lipstick I've quickly fallen in love with lip tints. They offer either subtle or bold options and they stay put for hours without the drying effect of long lasting lipsticks. I was intrigued to try the Maybelline Teddy Tint, Maybelline have an amazing range of makeup products and are easily found and affordable. The component is a lovely frosted tube and the applicator is nice and fluffy. I found the formula easy to apply and it have a very blotted/blurred look. I didn't find it very buildable, it's a muted look. Overall the concept is great, an affordable lip tint for those wanting a natural tint that lasts hours without the fuss of reapplication. I did however find it incredibly sticky, not like lipgloss, more like glue, for this reason I wouldn't repurchase sadly.

Was given twi lovely shades to try as I like the pink and nudes. The product applied nice and smoothly onto dry lips and once it was dry didn’t budge. Unfortunately, I like a hydrating glossy lipstick so this did not suit me at all as it felt very dry. It did flake off a little bit as the day went on, but I couldn’t help but feel it was very very dry. End of the day it was extremely hard to remove so definitely has long wear affect. Unfortunately, this lipstick is not for me but for people like a long mat lipstick this would be perfect

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missed the mark [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My expectations for this product didn’t quite hit the mark, I’m not sure if the word ‘tint’ threw me off, but I had assumed it would be a much thinner, lighter and liquidy product that would appear more subtle, however I was very wrong. The formula seems to be a rather typical semi matte finish liquid lipstick, it was a bit too heavy for me and had no idea how to make it work for a blush without it coming off to strong and a little awkward, that being said though the product did seem to where quite well without becoming patchy but did leave my lips a bit dry but slightly tacky at the same time whenever a beverage was consumed and stayed that way for a fair while before dissipating. The product itself was easy to apply but from the first swipe the scent didn’t sit right, it just smelled like chemicals and wax to me, like I had tried using kids art supplies as make up and the taste that came with any mouth movement wasn’t pleasant. I see this working for some, but for me it missed the mark.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lovely colour but very drying [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colour was definitely long lasting and stayed on after a night out of eating and drinking, but it’s not something I would wear by itself because of how it felt while wearing it. It was very drying and made my lips look very wrinkly and dehydrated so I had to keep reapplying a lip balm just to get hydrate my lips and reduce that drying feeling. The actual colour was pretty good though, as someone who has a darker skin tone, I was pretty happy with how the nude colour sat on my skin, it was a good combination on pink and brown without making me look washed out or too light.

The brush, while velvety, was a little weird and it wasn't a smooth glide. The brush isn't good for lining your lips because it's quite flexible. The actual product was sticky? It is matte and a bit dry but sticky at the same time. I didn't like the way it sat on my lips and it didn't last very long. It supposedly has a 4-way use? I don't know how you would use it as a blush because it is a bit sticky and doesn't blend well. ooh it smells nice though!

Unfortunately I am not a fan, this Teddy Tint took over five minutes to dry in my lips. No drinking or kissing within those valuable minutes. The two shades I was able to try were Skinny Dip, a pale blush pink colour and it was the exact shade of my natural lips. The second shade was called Keep it Cozy, a brown milk chocolate colour. It gave me 90’s vibes and I have lived through that era. I am hoping Maybelline has a more extensive colour palette. The lip brush was okay, I had to lip it into the tube a number of times.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Drying, sticky, not the best formula [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first wore this as a full on lip colour with a lot of product which dried down matte and super drying. It accentuated all of my lip wrinkled and made my lips look a bit pruny and dry! The product continued to dry down and when I came to remove it became sticky. The colours however, are amazing - I love that it gives you a "your lips but better" look however the formula was very drying and the tint felt more like film over your lips than an actual true tint. I would've loved a more moisturising formula than a matte liquid lip with a tint.
