Warnings

Directions

Apply daily on cleansed face, eye area and neck. Smooth 1-2 drops of serum evenly in gentle massaging strokes until fully absorbed. Follow with moisturizer. Use a Broad Spectrum SPF30 sunscreen or higher in the day.
For Retinol beginners, gradually phase retinol into your skincare routnine, start with 2-3 uses a week for the first 3 weeks, working up to daily use as tolerated.

I had never used retinol before and was abit cautiious because of my sensitive skin. I found the serum a nice light texture which was easy to spread over my face. I really liked the dropper applicator which made is easy to get the right amount of product as well as keeping it hygenic. I applied the serum every night and did not have any negative reaction. In the morning my skin looked dewy and seemed to look smoother. Since the sun is quite strong during the day, I made sure to wash the product off every morning because of the instructions. I liked the serum because it did not have a fragrance and did not feel too strong/concentrated. I am extremely happy to have been chosen to trial this wonderful product, especially since I had never used retinol before. I turn 60 tomorrow and feel really good about my face and skin. Thank you for this wonderful product, I will continue to use the retinol serum.

It is easy to use and pairs well with moisturiser and tinted moisturised. I have used this serum for over a week in the morning under my moisturiser and have notices fine lines around my chin, corners of my eyes have smoothes out so this serum definantly works on fine lines and wrinkles. Deeper lines on my forehead remained the same however my overll complexion looks healthy and plump and feels smooth. this product did not give me white heads around my eyes and top of cheeks unlike some serums i have used in the past. Overall happy with this product and can recommend it

My skin feels smooth and soft and hydrated. The bottle feels luxe and heavy so it feels like a high-quality product. The dropper is easy to use and I like that you can apply it without getting your fingers into the container and contaminating the contents. I will continue to use it as I feel it has great potential.

This Visible Repair serum is gentle yet effective. Just for reference I haven't used a Retinol product in the last few months prior to using this and I have combination skin. I found this serum absorbed quickly as it has a lightweight texture. It smells quite lovely and the fragrance hasn't caused me any irritation. It's formulated without parabens, mineral oils and dyes which is fab! I was initially using this twice a week and now use it pretty much every night. I've noticed that my skin feels smoother and buttery. It felt quite bumpy before. I've noticed that I haven't had any pimples in the time I've been using the serum which I'm very amazed with as I always usually have a pimple or 2. I like that I can use this serum around my eye area to prevent lines and keep that area looking youthful. Overall I'm really really happy with this serum and would purchase myself.

The Visible Repair Serum is easy to use with a dropper applicator, and suitable to use throughout the week as part of your nighttime skincare routine, I recommend using twice a week to build up your skin tolerance. I loved that it was effect yet gentle enough that I didn’t notice any impact to my skin barrier or irritation with use. I love the glow it gave my skin, and felt my skin texture improved with use.

This retinol serum does exactly that. It has a gentle formulation that is great for first time users and can even be used during the day with SPF sunscreen. It has a nice smooth texture and applies on nicely without any oily or sticky residue. It smells great too. It smoothes out fine lines and wrinkles, making my skin feel toned and glowing and younger looking. I would definitely recommend this and it's so comfortable on the skin.

It shows visible effects within a week and really smoothed out some of the lines on my face, making me appear younger. I didn’t have any reactions or issues with it and found it easy to apply and use! I made sure to apply sunscreen during the day while using it to prevent any sun damage and will definitely keep using! Would recommend to anyone who is worried about signs on aging on their skin, I apply it on my face and neck region as well as down my decolletage as those areas generally have the most sun damage on my skin. Definitely worth the money and does what it is supposed to do!

I can actually see the difference after trialling this serum for a few weeks. The appearance of my wrinkles and fine lines have significantly improved. The texture of my skin in more even and smooth. This serum includes a form of Vitamin A and retinol improving my skin that has been damaged from the sun and other environmental conditions. It's easy to use with the included dropper and only requires a couple drops so the product goes a long way. It has a lightweight feel, is non greasy and absorbs really easily into my skin. My face looks and feels moisturised and hydrated and the added antioxidant has helped my skins elasticity and left my skin feeling firmer. I strongly recommend trying Neutrogena Visible Repair Serum and I will buy it again in the near future.

My fine lines have disappeared and my skin appears so smooth and hydrated too. My larger lines are not as obvious and my skin also appears somewhat firmer. Even after the first night, in the morning I discovered it had already made a difference and my skin looked better and fresher. After a week, my skin was noticeably smoother and I continued past the two week stage because I was so happy with the positive changes in the first week. I didn't notice any sensitivity in my skin but I did use a very high SPF (SPF 50+) every day and I expect this makes a difference. Before starting this serum, I also was using a high SPF every day but moreso religiously during it's use. It's a lightweight, white milky serum which sinks into my skin fast. I use it at night after cleansing and then apply another hydrating serum sometimes but always a simple but nurturing night moisturiser that I regularly use anyway. There is not really any scent in this formula - if there is at all, it is an extremely light fresh scent that is barely noticeable. I found it a very comfortable serum to use considering it is a retinol serum. I also found it extremely effective and it looks like it has found a permanent place in my night routine. It's one of the most fast and effective anti-aging serums I've used. It comes with a squeeze-dropper in the lid so it's super easy to apply. I keep it above my sink in the bathroom so I can put it on conveniently straight after I wash my face at night.

I was excited to try this retinol since I know this brand’s retinol game is strong. This serum is smooth and an elegant formula. The bottle is nice and solid and I like that the packaging is opaque so less sun damage on the product. I have used it for three weeks now. I already use retinols so didn’t need to work up to nightly. I’d say it’s definitely doing something! Hard to say if it’s smoothing fine lines within only a few weeks but it has definitely kept a good smooth skin texture and my skin looks firm. I’ll definitely keep using this till it’s finished. Beautiful retinol.

My first experience of using it I had tingles for a minute or so but that went away. That happened the first few times of using. A couple of weeks using this my skin feels so much softer and looks visibly clearer. I'm excited to continue using this and see more permanent results. This is definitely going to be a permanent part of my skin care regime!

We are transitioning from winter to spring and my skin was a bit all over the place, dull looking and just not the firmness I wanted to feel. Luckily, I had the opportunity to put the Neutrogena Visible Repair Serum to the test and I am seeing progress. It has only been a couple of weeks, and I still have plenty of product left to give it a real go, but I am happy with the progress so far. My strategy, I have been using the Visible Repair Serum with retinol, started out using Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday nights, and now switching to every other night for the next few weeks. If continues to go well, may consider nightly use. I am following with a hyaluronic acid this week, too, for added pump. My skin feels soft and looks brighter, less saggy than a month ago, which means I look less tired, too. My makeup is also applying more smoothly in the mornings, which is a bonus. I still have some fine lines, and some crepey skin that I am trying to tackle, and hope that this will be addressed with continued use. The product has a lovely, soft sweet scent. The dropper is excellent and easy to get just the right amount of product. The texture is light and easy to apply, blends in well and does not feel greasy or cakey.

Although I do not believe the time frame was one long enough to see significant results of the product itself on my skin, the minimal benefits I did see were significant. As someone that doesn't always use the best of the best face products, this serum paired well with my current facial cleansing/moisturising products and slipped in nicely between products. It was a likely substitute that didn't make my other facial products go bally or lose effectiveness. I would have liked to review this product in a longer time frame (2 weeks then 3 months then 6months)to see how the product faired over a significant amount of time, but I'm sure I can do this in my own time. Overall, a great product at an affordable price as I have seen in plenty of common shops.

I found it gentle enough to use every night and experienced no irritation or excessive dryness. Only a few drops are required after cleansing and the serum is easily absorbed, leaving no stickiness or tacky residue. I like the texture and feel of the serum. After using the product for ~3 weeks, my skin looks brighter and feels slightly firmer and smoother. It is hard to tell whether the serum has made much of difference on my fine lines and wrinkles. I feel there may have been a mild improvement on some fine lines around my eyes, but will have to continue to use it over a longer period to ascertain whether it makes a significant impact. I'm aware retinol takes a few months of use to really see a difference. This serum feels very mild and therefore perfect for those with sensitive skin and/or have never used any products containing retinol. However it is disappointing that there is no disclosure on any of the packaging of what % retinol the product contains. If a product is being sold as a retinol product, it needs to disclose the % of retinol to enable consumers to form an opinion on effectiveness, potential for irritation and compare with other retinol products.

I'm in my thirties with oily/acne prone skin, have some fine lines and have noticed that my skin is ageing. I used the Neutrogena serum daily as part of my night routine for about two weeks and noticed that my skin was firmer and smoother. I'm not quite sure about the effect on my fine lines just yet, but think consistent prolonged use will definitely help. It has a nice floral fragrance which I really liked and think adds to the whole skincare experience, but understand that others may not like fragrance if you're sensitive. I didn't break out or get any dry patches from the retinol but I have used retinol before. It was a great serum that was simple to use with its dropper bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this Neutrogena Visable Repair Serum to trial and after 3 weeks I’m seeing some small improvements but nothing dramatic. The serum is a light, easily absorbed lotion and doesn’t feel tingly on application like some retinol based products do. The instructions say to only use it every other day but I didn’t feel any reaction and it definitely doesn’t feel like other retinol products. This may suit sensitive skins but I feel I need the big retinol guns to help with my wrinkles. I will continue to use this serum as I do like the way it makes my skin feel and I hope with continued use I will see more improvement.

The serum comes in a nice silver bottle with the usual dropper lid. The dropper doesn’t pick up a lot of the serum but as you only need to apply 1-2 drops it is enough for one application. I applied the serum at night after cleansing my skin, the serum goes on nice and smooth and absorbs well into my skin, I let it sink in for a few minutes before applying my usual nighttime moisturiser. I have noticed a slight difference in my skin especially around my eyes as I have not had any adverse effects from using this I will be increasing my use to daily.

I used it twice a week and even though I personally do not have any fine lines or wrinkles, I could see a genuine difference in my face after one week. My face looked less textured and more glowing, and it also felt softer. This product did not feel sticky or unpleasant on my skin and it sunk in quickly after application. This is a fantastic product, and I will continue to use it to hopefully see more results.

Seeing I havent tried retinal products before I didnt use it every day and until going into the second week. I have only had the product for 1.5 weeks so I havent noticed any difference. I have only been using the serum for the last 3 days every day. I always cleansed first then applied the serum. I loved that you didnt have to use much and the texture and smell was beautiful as well. Very easy to apply and didnt take long for my skin to absorb the serum. I made sure I applied it around my eyes and on my forehead. I hope after another couple of weeks of apply the serum every day I will start to see results

It is quite heavy and looks beautiful. I followed the instruction on the box - Cleanse - Serum - Moisturise + SPF protectiion. You only need a very small drop to spread it all over your face and neck and feels lovely and smooth. It can be used on normal, oily or dry and combination skin. So in other words most people. It absorbed quickly as well. Helps fade fine lines and wrinkles which makes a great product. Should not be used on broken or damaged skin.

This serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it both hydrated and smooth. Initially, I didn’t see much of a difference. However, after about two weeks, when I looked at the before and after photos, I could clearly see skin texture improvement and fewer visible fine lines. Paired with some Botox for my deeper wrinkles, I believe this serum would help achieve a more youthful look overall. I have never used a serum before and it was a great opportunity. I have quite a few wrinkles on my face and was happy to give it a go. I followed the instructions carefully and suffered no irritation to my skin. Because of this I used it every night. I also used sunscreen and wore a hat, when outside during the day. I used the serum on my deeper wrinkles and didn't notice any visible change, in their appearance. I do have some finer winkles, that I also used it on every night. I did notice a slight improvement in their appearance, which was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this product for finer wrinkles. It is never too late to give it a try.

It is far more effective than a lot of the more expensive brands I’ve tried in the past. It comes in a sturdy bottle with an eye dropper to dispense the serum. I have taken one star off because I found the eye dropper to be frustrating as it does not have very much suction and I hope Nutrogena can address this. As for the serum, it is lightweight and runny and is very easy to apply and spread over my face and neck. It dries quickly which is great when applying just before bed. It doesn’t have any noticeable scent and I have not had any irritation when using it on its own overnight or with sunscreen when I’ve used it during the day. I have noticed an improvement in my skin – it is tighter and there are less wrinkles visible – which I am very happy about. This serum would now rate as one of my favourites because it is easy to apply, no irritation, effective, and very affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try the Neutrogena Visible Repair Serum,this product unfortunately I dont think it is for me. However it does work well with firming my skin & made my face look smoother & even in tone, but not so much with minimising wrinkles, it helped a little not as much as I was hoping for unfortunately. I think my wrinkles are a little more deeper on my forehead compareded to fine lines around my eyes. The product is light weight, feels really nice, silky smooth when applied & it doesn't feel sticky or overwhelming with to much fragrance. It smells pleasant & isn't perfumed, which is great & gentle on the skin.

My skin was a bit too sensitive (due to post-accutane medication) so I gave it to a household member to try. They found it gentle and soothing however they did not note any noticeable improvements yet. They have used stronger retinol products before and so would rather stick with those than buying this one in the future Once my skin is a bit less sensitive I will be eager to try this for reducing appearance of acne marks and under eye wrinkles
