Directions

Apply daily on cleansed face and neck. Smooth a pearl-sized amount evenly in gentle massaging strokes until fully absorbed. Use a Broad Spectrum SPF30 sunscreen or higher in the day.
For Retinol beginners, gradually phase retinol into your skincare routnine, start with 2-3 uses a week for the first 3 weeks, working up to daily use as tolerated.

I have had the great pleasure of being a part of this trail team and have found the cream to be successful in what it claims to do. First it claims to be lightweight and easy to apply and I can confirm the texture is smooth and easily absorbs into the skin leaving no cast or sticky oily feeling, nor any harsh chemical smell. I also have quite sensitive and red skin, this cream does not cause any negative reactions. With the little time I have used the cream for I have already noticed the improvements starting on my skin. Such as my eye bags have started to become brighter, my skin has become brighter and more hydrated. As well as my fine lines started smoothing out. The price for this product is quite reasonable and probably one of the cheaper options of retinol on the markets. I would continue to use this and would recommend to everyone. Neutrogena has a reputation of selling affordable and easy to get hold of products that work wonders. They have lived up to that with this product!

I found the cream from Neutrogena to be a nice middle ground. There has been no irritation but I feel my skin is nicely plumped and my fine lines are relaxing a bit. My sometimes congested skin liked the mild exfoliating effect as well. It felt nice and lightweight on the skin. There was a slight floral scent which was fine but unnecessary. I think this would be a great product for first time retinol users.

It feels lightweight yet really hydrating, and after just a couple of weeks, I noticed my skin looking smoother and more radiant. It actually softened some of the fine lines around my eyes, which is a big win! I like that it absorbs quickly without any greasy feeling, so it’s perfect for layering under makeup. I have enjoyed incorporating this into my PM routine. First impression was the sleek and tidy package it came in. Then came the product, it was in a beautiful glass pot which looked great and I liked the weight of it. The cream was a gorgeous silky consistency with a lovely soft scent and it applied so nicely to my skin. It felt really nice and hydrating to use which is what I love in a night cream. After using for a while I feel like my skin just looks fresher and I have noticed a reduction in my forehead lines and my terrible frown lines (my 11 between my brows). These 2 areas make me feel quite self concious, so to notice a change in it has made me feel great. Look forward to longer use and more results. This product will definitely be my new addition to my PM skincare routine.

I’ve been using this cream every night for the last 10 days and my first impressions are really positive! I’m in my mid 50’s and my skin type is typically dry and mature. My main concerns are fine lines, loss of volume and skin firmness and hyperpigmentation. This cream is rich and hydrating, but not greasy or oily, I loved the texture of the cream, I found it so nourishing and moisturising. I have used retinol products before so I wasn’t too concerned with sensitivity but I did do a spot test just in case. Luckily I had no reaction and I was able to use the cream every night. This cream is formulated with a comfort complex to minimize skin reactions. It does have subtle fragrance but it’s not too overpowering and it’s quite pleasant. After using this cream for a relatively short time, I am seeing improvements, my skin just looks more hydrated, feels so soft and plump. I haven’t seen noticeable improvement to the dark spots, but it’s still early days, hopefully I’ll see some changes with continual use. I’ve been using it also on my neck and décolletage as sadly my neck is starting to really show my age. I’m really happy with the results so far, that area is looking more youthful and the skin feels firmer. I’ve also started to use it on the back of my hands as a nightly treatment to plump up that skin. So far, I’ve really enjoyed using this cream and I’m pleasantly surprised with how my skin has improved in such a short time. I’ll definitely keep using this and would consider repurchasing in the future. I would recommend this if you are new to retinol products, it’s a great all round anti aging cream just remember to start slow and build it into your nightly regime.

To use the cream I didn't need very much to apply it all over my face and neck, and it made my face feel great, on the third day of using it, my face would tingle a little, but it was a pleasant feeling. Today my skin feels so smooth , and to look at my face now it looks glowing. I would use this cream as my everyday face cream, it has actually helped my skin look so much better than before I used it. I like my skin has more moisture in it and to touch my face it feels smoother. I actually look forward to my daily skin time routine now, and I can't wait to see the long term affects this cream will have. I will be telling all my friends and family about this cream, and how much it has improved my skin.

It has a really pleasant smell and a lovely light texture which absorbs easily but leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. I am lucky I had no sensitivities to the retinol and always used sunscreen after applying. My skin's appearance looks more even and my pigmentation looks less obvious. It's got such a lovely rich consistency and blends in so smoothly, leaving your skin literally feeling so plump and hydrated. It also smells great without being too overpowering. While I haven't seen a difference in the crows feet/ lines around my eyes (yet!) - I have noticed all my horizontal forehead lines and frown lines between my eyebrows (glabellar lines) have softened a bit. My skin certainly feels tighter and looks brighter - so hopefully the affects and results will become more visible with time and continued use. As someone who has not used retinol products before, I did not experience any reactions and have been using it daily since I got the cream.

I haven’t used retinol in a little while so it took a little bit of getting used to at the start. My skin is ultra sensitive and I found the first few applications had a very mild tingle, which is retinol at work, absolutely nothing to be worried about, just a sensation I wasn’t used to! By the forth application the sensation had totally subsided and after 2 weeks I could definitely see a noticeable difference in my skin texture and pigmentation. A pea sized amount is the perfect size and I avoided the area close to my eyes, my cheeks and forehead prior to using this cream had pigmentation from hormones and sun exposure and this has definitely decreased by using this cream! I am delighted!!! Definitely recommend!

The packaging feels really luxurious, while remaining faithful to Neutrogena's recognisable colouring and packaging. The cream itself is a lovely light consistency that spreads evenly across the skin and absorbs well. it has a light relatively unnoticeable fragrance for those that would prefer no smell. After using this product for several weeks, I'm sad to sad I still have some fine lines and wrinkles, I guess there's no avoiding aging, however on the plus side, they do seem to have softened, and I do feel that my skin has a lovely glow to it. Like all retinol products, you really do need to give this cream a decent amount of time to see lasting results, however after several weeks, it does seem like this little pot of goodness may deliver what I'm looking for, and I don't need to break the bank to get them.

On first glance, I noticed that the packaging seems luxe - the jar was well packaged in the carton and the jar itself was sturdy. One downfall for the packaging for me was that fact that it's a jar that doesn't coming with a scoop/spatula for hygiene purposes. The product itself was quite a thick cream that felt very hydrating. It has a very pleasant smell but note that it may be irritating to people who are sensitive to strong fragrances. I personally enjoyed the scent so this wasn't an issue for me. I used this product 2 times a week as I'm new to retinol and didn't want to overdo it. I didn't experience any sensitivity or adverse affects to using this product. However, having only used it for a few weeks, I haven't noticed any of my deep wrinkles improve - the fine lines have definitely improved but could be because I'm actively moisturising now. Overall, I'm happy with this product and will keep using it as I hope to keep seeing more results as I use it.

I began by applying it once a week and have gradually increased the frequency as my skin has adjusted as it felt a little tingly at first. After a few weeks, I started to notice a significant improvement: my skin appears plumper and smoother, giving me a more youthful glow. Additionally, the cream has been excellent for keeping my skin well-hydrated, which is a huge plus. Never used a retinol product before so I will need to continue using it to fully form an opinion and to see if it really works, but it's been great so far. You need to slowly build up to it - starting with a couple times a week first, then slowly increase the frequency of use. Make sure to wear sunscreen when using the product! Would prefer if the container wasn't a tub though for hygiene purposes... a tube would be better. Other than that, no complaints.

The cream absorbs completely and quickly and has a nice subtle scent. I had no reaction to the Retinol so was soon able to use daily. I have noticed that my facial skin is more hydrated and slightly smoother from only a few weeks of using and I am sure that I will notice more improvement with longer use of the product. Only a very small amount of the cream is applied, and the jar should last me some time. I noticed that this product was half price in my local supermarket several weeks ago so I will watch out for promotions when I need to repurchase.

The texture has improved, it feels smoother and hydrated. The fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead have improved. I found it very gentle on my skin and didn't experience any reaction. The texture of the cream feels luxurious, it is quite thick but it absorbs beautifully. Make up glides easily over the top of it. I feel I didn't need to use any other products such as a serum in addition while using this product. I would definitely purchase this product again.

I’m in my last year of my 30s with visible signs of ageing including fine lines around my forehead and eyes, and with dry, textured skin. This cream is ideal for me. The regenerating cream has retinol and antioxidants to target fine lines, and previously trials have shown this to be effective in treating those lines. I have used this cream nightly for 2 weeks and while I haven’t noticed any obvious improvement, it is only a short window and therefore I expect to see improvement within another 10 weeks or so. The retinol concentration is low so it’s ideal to use every night. The cream is rich and non-greasy, leaving my skin to feel silky and soft. There is a very slight fragrance, similar to suncreen, which doesn’t linger and is not noticeable after application. My face feels nice wearing it.

It absorbed quickly and easily and played well with other skincare products that I use regularly. As to results, I think I would need to use it for several months to be able to really judge if it was making a difference however it did feel smooth on my skin. My skin generally felt plump in the morning when I woke after using this the night before. I find it frustrating that the packaging is so large and when you get to the item it is about half the size of the packaging. It would be great if companies could reduce packaging to be more sustainable.

My skin tolerated it well and now I will be increasing to daily use (night only). I find the texture a little rich and thus only need a small amount. Scent is very pleasant. I did not feel any tingling sensation, just a little tightening. My routine is cleanse, tone, serum, then moisturise with this Neutrogena retinol cream. During the day I will use spf after moisturiser. I did not notice any difference in my skin appearance, in fact I developed an acne which may be related to my hormones. Overall its a pleasant product to use for its prize range, it does its job in moisturising but have not noticed reduction in fine lines maybe due to insufficient use (2-3 times a week).

It’s a silver box claiming it repairs wrinkles and early ageing signs in 7 days. Although I’m not sure on these claims but I do like that it discloses the amount of retinol within this product being 0.13%. The amount of information on the box was pleasant to read about the product. I felt informed about it before opening the box. I also like that there’s instructions to follow to help reduce the effects on your skin. The product itself self is in a lovely tub, very sturdy with a covering upon opening. It would be better if a spatular was included to help reduce bacteria from sticking your finger into the bottle. The consistency of the cream is well creamy and very easily taken into the skin. It has a good formula. I recommend trying a patch and giving it at least a week or two to adjust to your skin. The downside of this review is the fragrance was very strong which I wasn’t expecting and didn’t see on the box that it was fragranced, apart from the ingredients and it wasn’t pleasant. Keep in mind for someone who isn’t fond of fragrances this may not be for you. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy this product, I still will continue to use this. This review is of my own opinions, I was gifted to review.

I enjoyed that it was thicker, as I felt like it held moisture in my skin. In the morning I found it was just enough moisture, without my skin feeling like it had an oily layer to it. As a beginner to retinol, I used this product twice a week, to see how my skin would react. It made a slightly tingly sensation on my skin, but no other reactions. With continued use, I found this calmed down, and I started to notice changes in my skin. The fine lines and wrinkles I have around my eyes and mouth were less visable, and the frown lines weren't as prominent. The biggest change I saw was on my neck and décolletage. The skin appeared tighter and smoother, which I was really happy with. I did find the scent to be slightly over powering for me, especially if I put too much on in certain areas.

I used each item once to twice a week, while adjusting to the retinol. Overall I haven;t noticed a significant change to my skin, however I know retinol takes multiple months to give a significant effect. The products smelled nice and went on smoothly - while I will continue to use these, I likely wouldn't repuchase given other cheaper and more effective retinols available on the market.

I was skeptical at first as I didn’t notice any visible differences in my skin nor the texture. But, I continued to use daily and apply as recommended. I did have a couple pimples come through the first week/week and a half which is unusual for me however I thought maybe this was just my skin clearing out the gunk, or just a coincidence. With continued use, I definitely felt the need to use sun protection during the day as there was more sun sensitivity than usual. A few weeks of use, my skin now feels the best it has felt. Supple and smooth. Lines are still visible however my skin looks better and when I apply my daily moisturising cream, it seems to work at its full effect and brings me this lovely glow to my skin. All in all, I think this product is great and does as intended. With continued use, you will only continue to reap the benefits. I recommend.

I have dry but non-sensitive skin and this cream worked well on my dry. it didnt irritate my skin as I started slow. I prefer thick textured cream for my skin. It hydrated my forehead line to make them look smoother. I will keep using it to see more visible improvements to forehead line. My skin felt hydrated with this cream. This cream got very easily absorbed into the skin without visible peeling of skin.
