Directions

Following shampoo, apply from mid lengths to ends and leave on one minute. Rinse. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately. Follow with Oil.

I like that this conditioner has a light texture and isn’t overly rich (some conditioners can leave my hair greasy). This conditioner leaves my hair feeling a lot softer. When I use this conditioner, I notice that after blow-drying, my hair has a lot less frizz. I haven't noticed a difference in my hair in terms of detangling. I love how the cap is on the bottom of the bottle, so you don’t have to shake the bottle to get product out. Overall, my hair has less frizz and is more hydrated.

I have been using both of these products 2-3 times per week for 2 months now. I have coloured, medium length hair with dry ends. The packaging of this duo is nice and sleek. Both shampoo and conditioner smell floraly and light, but not at all overpowering. These products include ingredients like avocado oil and hyaluronic acid which are great hydrating ingredients. The shampoo lathers well and a little goes a long way. I felt my hair and scalp were thoroughly cleaned after using the shampoo. Of the two, I really enjoyed using the detangling conditioner. Again the smell is nice but not overpowering and does not linger too long. This conditioner is definitely get for detangling and really helped in this aspect. My hair was very soft and hydrated afterwards. Overall I enjoyed using both Matrix shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels clean and refreshed. However I did find that the hydration did not last as long in my hair as other shampoo and conditioners. I have very dry hair and my ends were frizzing out quicker than with other products. I also feel it is more on the pricier side for the bottle size

Having naturally thing hair it's essential that hydrating products aren't too heavy and don't weigh my hair down. This conditioner doesn't which is a big plus for me. You only need a little of the product (which smells wonderful) and it leaves your hair feeling soft and easy to brush following the shower. The bottle is easy to use and easy to store as it's slim and stands up straight. Paired with the shampoo, these products leave your hair feeling lovely. I'll definitely continue to use this product.

The scent was so nice - I love a strong smelling conditioner so this really appealed to me. The conditioner felt nice and creamy and was good to use. I also felt like I didn’t have to use as much as I would with other products. It left my hair feeling hydrated and soft but not too heavy which I find can often happen having thin hair. I trialled both Shampoo and Conditioner over a period of about 2 months. For my hair type, which is fine and can get oily and irritated at the roots, the products worked to nourish and soothe my scalp. I felt my hair looked healthier, shinier and smoother after continued use and both Shampoo and Conditioner effectively dealt with my dry ends which were particularly unhappy during winter. The downside was that I had to shampoo daily to keep grease on my roots at bay and I felt that my hair was weighed down and had less volume while I was using these products. The smell is subtle and pleasant, it does not last on my hair throughout the day but I don't mind that at all. I would continue using these during cooler / dryer months, as and when my hair needs a hydration boost and I would recommend these products to friends or family with more dry or coarse hair than me.

I thought this conditioner left my hair feeling smooth, shiny and hydrated. It also has a pleasant smell which is a real plus. I would recommend this to anyone with not super dry or oily hair. I live in quite a cold environment and while this conditioner has some great hydrating ingredients like the avocado oil and HLA, I think my hair needs a more hydrating conditioner in winter. I would use this in warmer months and recommend to anyone in more humid environments.

I would strongly suggest using the shampoo and conditioner together as the shampoo just by itself will make your hair dry. Since I have very curly hair I had to use it 2-3 times a week to ensure my hair remains soft and free from firzz. It surely makes your hair soft if you use it less often but won't keep your hair frizzy-free if you use it less than 3 times a week. For the price, I feel it is very good and would recommend it for people with wavy or semi-curly hair.

It hydrated my hair and made it feel healthier and softer as i have very frizzy tangly hair so the conditioner worked wonders. It made it alot easier to untangle my hair after washing it with the Matrix food shampoo and conditioner. It was definitely less frizzy and felt smoother longer. It also helped with the oilness and actually made my hair last longer between washes. I would recommend this to anyone with frizzy combination oily dry hair. I have already suggested to my sister to try this product out.

The packaging is nice and easy to store in my little shower caddy in the bathroom (which always helps) its scent is nice too, light and not too insulting on the scents. The application of the Conditioner is easy enough, you dont need too much like you would with other brands. Even to apply and left my hair super soft!! Was really nice to wash out too and didnt leave my hair feeling like an oil slick to get it nice and hydrated. As someone who has dry hair, it's seemed to leave my hair more hydrated, however, I do need additional products to tame the frizz - i think its tricky but with someone who has thick fizzy hair im still on the look out for a dream duo!

The packaging of this product is sleek and smells absolutely lovely. I have fine curly hair, but lots of it. This conditioner nourished and hydrated my hair leaving it feeling tangle free and soft. With this shampoo and conditioner I was pleasantly surprised to find how well it hydrated my hair. I have really been enjoying using this product as I was sceptical at first that my hair wouldn’t take to it, but it leaves my hair feeling well nourished and also gives my curls that nice bounce and a little volume. I would definitely consider re-purchasing this and will definitely be on the lookout for more products from this brand.

Along with the shampoo they both don't have the harsh chemical smell that you can get from some hair products. I usually have oily hair and only use conditioner to condition the ends of my hair to avoid extra oil and this product did help to make my ends feel extremely soft. It does detangle like the bottle says. I have already recommended this product to my family as I feel as though the conditioner does help to make your hair feel soft and refreshed after you've used it. I have not used this brand Matrix before but will definitely start to look into their other products as I really did enjoy the results on my hair after using this product.

Definitely loving the scent and the thickness on this product!!!! After 2 shampoos I do a small amount of conditioner through the mids to ends and leave it to sit for a good 5 mins like a treatment as it has the hyularonic acid and avocado 🥑 it has great hair benefits The scent isn’t too over powering the shampoo has a more pleasant smell though, I do like my hair products to have a nice smell. The hydration it leaves my hair and the shine is pretty good!!! So far so good I’ll be continuing to use as I have noticed a difference in the condition!! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!! Thanks beauty crew!!! I love this product and I can’t wait to try more and add into my Haircare routine. The experience of using the conditioner was okay. I liked the texture of the products, the scent was quite light and somewhat underwhelming, although maybe I'm just used to more scented products. The conditioner had an average texture, and applied as expected. It didnt seem to actually help with the texture of my hair, which us on the drier side. Over all, I was pretty underwhelmed and somewhat disappointed with the product, but maybe it just wasn't for me!

I have to say the Matrix Food for Soft Detangling Conditioner was very good. I have very dry and sensitive scalp hair normally and have tried many products to try and help this. Whilst it did not help my sensitive scalp it did make my hair feel very smooth and made it more manageable. My hair didn’t get really knotty when it dried which it usually does. It didn’t make it look greasy and I liked the consistency it wasn’t to thick and was easy to wash out. I really liked the packaging, the squeeze tube is easy to get the product out of.

It claims to be hydrating but not hydrating enough, other conditioners did it better with lower and affordable prices. I mean it's not bad but it's not the best as well. Preferbly best for normal hair i think. I will recommend still for the packaging as it is unlike any other conditioner and it's pretty decent as a conditioner. It just takes more for you to feel that it is actually doing aomething to your hair. Hopefully they also improve it to be more hydrating as it claims to be.

I loved the shampoo but this conditioner unfortunately didn’t wow me. For a product that claims to be hydrating, I didn’t find it particularly hydrating or rich. I have coloured hair with quite dry ends and found it wasn’t conditioning enough for my hair. Overall it’s a nice midrange conditioner, but I probably wouldn’t repurchase in the future. I think it would be suitable for normal hair that isn’t particularly dry or in need or nourishment.

While it did make my hair somewhat softer it also made my hair feel slightly weighed down. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and continued using it but unfortunately it wasn’t the conditioner for me, It does make your hair feel softer and less frizzy but the con of the feeling of heaviness I couldn’t look past. In my personal opinion it wouldn’t be something that I would be reaching for again. Also I wasn’t sure if it was the bottle I received that was faulty but the lid kept twisting off when I would go to use it. So unfortunately because of these reasons it’s not something that I would recommend.

My hair is quite fine and usually very smooth, but after 8 weeks of use I found it had lost its shine and became quite dry and straw like. I do have bleached hair but have never found any other salon quality products to have this affect on my hair. I was a bit disappointed by the results and probably wouldn't recommend this product. It also has a quite steap price at $25 a bottle, but a small amount of product did seem to go a long way.

I used the shampoo and conditioner together and found that they worked better as a clarifying shampoo but not the conditioner. The conditioner can not be used all the time since the product does have hyaluronic acid and the avocado oil was not that moisturising. I think if the avocado oil was more moisturising I think the product would work a ton better. I have used the conditioner separately to the shampoo and it is not that drying for my hair when I use it with the shampoo. All together I wouldn’t recommend this since it’s meant to help dry hair but it just makes my hair more dry. The only redemption is probably the packaging. I love the green and pink colour combo! Also the slender packaging of it is so chic.

Something I really do suffer from alot and find it creates alot of breakage. The nourishing ingredients really did help keep my hair feeling soft. I used it with the shampoo and found that even directly after washing and drying, my hair looked slightly oily as if it had been about 2-3 days since it was last washed. But if you need a lot of hydration in your hair, this product may be suitable. Some positives: it had some great ingredients like avocado oil and hyaluronic acid. Overall, I wasn’t a big fan of this product as it didn’t seem to suit my hair type, and wouldn’t repurchase

My ends are dry so I focused the product on them, it didn't preform any miracles but it was fine. This conditioner has a lovely smell to it, but I find it doesn't linger for very long. The consistency is perfect for my long hair though, it's quite thick so it was easy to coat my hair. It got the job done, my hair was quite soft and shiny (possibly a little more 'oily' to be honest). But I don't really think it's any better than a standard supermarket conditioner. It was just fine, didn't really do anything special. The shampoo would be great for someone with dry roots/scalp, but I don't think this would be. You could easily get a cheaper conditioner that does the same. Also I just noticed it's supposed to detangle, I don't think it really did that. However I have waist length hair so it's kind of an impossible claim for me.

I used this conditioner after using the same range shampoo(what I really needed after using this shampoo) and it smelled really nice. This range is not meant for my type of hair since my hair didn't feel as healthy and shiny as I would hope it would. I have chemically treated hair and I use styling tools I need something deeply nourishing and free of harsh chemicals. It's more like a supermarket kinda brands I think and for the money's worth it does clean your hair and leaves it smells good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second time using a Matrix product after using the shampoo first, and it kept my expectations high! First impression was the smell was nice but not as pleasant as the shampoo. I used approximately a quarter size of product and raked it through my mid lengths to ends and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes. The conditioner was a perfect consistency and instantly smoothed out and detangled my hair with little to no effort. After dry, I immediately noticed a significant difference to the feeling and appearance of my hair. It was much less frizzy and still had that soft feel. This was such a positive experience I will definitely be purchasing again and recommending it to everyone I know!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Elle H. from Matrix food for soft detangling conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Matrix food for soft detangling conditioner for 8 weeks, in that time I found my hair had reduced in overall hair health although when used I did find it to be amazing at reducing the amount of knots post wash and made it easier to brush, as well as having a great smell which would last for a few days until the next wash. Although this is a large bonus of the conditioner, especially when used with the matrix food for soft shampoo, it's overall performance on my hair was less than satisfactory with my hair greatly reducing in health to the point of easy breakage and split ends. I would not recommend this product to friends and family for the overall end result even though it's detangling properties where amazing.
