Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for wearing with foundation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried 3 blushes - City Sizzle, Midnight Shimmer and Sol Search. The shades and the packaging looked beautiful. I was excited to try a liquid blush because I'm not as big a fan of creams. These did apply very easily and they are very buildable and blendable. Unfortunately I don't see myself using these again because they just don't work with any of my foundations. After a few minutes my foundations separates and melts underneath. I've tried to use them on bare skin but the finish is too shimmery rather than a "sunkissed glow". They just don't last on my skin. It might work as a highlighter in small amounts but I have better products for that. I was hoping these would become my go to liquid blushes but sadly they're just not for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me preface this by saying that I am a huge fan of blush- particularly liquid and cream blushes, so my expectations are very high. Initially, the packaging of this product intrigued me. I have tried other liquid blushes with a doefoot applicator, but none as lipgloss-like as this. For customers, at first glance, I would understand if they were confused about what this product actually was. On first application, I actually thought this looked quite pretty on the skin, giving a golden, luminous flush. On closer inspection, the glitter in this product was not fine at all and was very chunky and noticeable on the skin. Most disappointingly, as soon as I tried to layer some more product on top, it lifted everything underneath it, even when applied with a gentle patting motion. Sadly, despite numerous attempts at rectifying this, I had to completely remove the blush. In short, I personally think that there are better, less finicky liquid and cream blushes on the market, even at a similar price point. You might enjoy this if you like more luminous blushes- but it is absolutely not layerable.

The sleek, compact packaging is travel-friendly, and the shade range is lovely. I chose "Peachy Flush," which delivers a natural, vibrant glow. The smooth, finely milled texture blends effortlessly without fallout. The pigmentation is impressive—just a little creates a beautiful finish. Plus, it lasts for hours without fading. My only minor critique is the lack of a brush or mirror. Overall, it’s an affordable option for achieving a radiant look!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Maybelline sunkissed blushes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the Maybelline Sunkissed Blushes. While I was excited to try these new colours and a liquid blush, they didn’t quite meet my expectations I had built in my head. In particular, I found Sol Search and Midnight Shimmer to be more like highlighters than blushes. The colour wasn't as bold as I thought it was going to be, they were more of a simmer highlighter than a blush. I also found their smell to be incredibly strong which made them off putting. City Sizzle, did provide a darker colour blush, but wouldn't last long and was hard to get even across my skin tone. The sunkissed blushes are lightweight, but I wasn’t a fan of how they stayed on my skin or how they smelt when applied.

These ‘blushes’ are way too glittery and they highlight texture and pores when applied like a blush. Pigment is buildable. They didn’t blend very well over my foundation, it lifted of my foundation, I used fingers and a beauty blender. Blended better when I have a natural day with just concealer and no foundation. They would be better suited as a highlight, they also work well as an eyeshadow topper, a little pop of glitter on the eye. Also good for an inner corner highlight on the eye.

While I was excited to try them, they didn’t quite meet my expectations. In particular, I found Sol Search and Midnight Shimmer to be more like highlighters than blushes. They had hardly any color payoff, even after building them up, and I’m someone who typically prefers a more subtle blush. They also left behind a lot of micro glitter, which I’m not particularly fond of in a blush. City Sizzle, the red-toned shade, did offer more color payoff then the other two shades, but I found the formula to be quite patchy. It’s lightweight, but I wasn’t a fan of how it looked once it had been applied. I’ve noticed that some people had issues with the packaging, mentioning that it reminded them of the Lifter Glosses and caused some confusion. Personally, I didn’t mind the packaging and thought it was quite nice for a liquid blush. However, when it comes to the product itself, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. Of course, makeup is a personal preference, and everyone enjoys different formulas and finishes. Unfortunately, these blushes didn’t work out for me, but they might be perfect for someone else!
