General Information

The Manicare® Precision Brow Grooming Kit is your must-have duo for achieving natural tamed, or statement brow effortlessly.

The stainless steel eyebrow scissors targets controlled and precision shaping, while the detachable comb attachment aids in guiding your eyebrow hair, ensuring consistent trimming for perfectly groomed brows. Each kit comes with a brow spoolie to lift and shape for a natural or statement look.

Beauty tip
Detachable comb can be removed from scissors for closer access to individual eyebrow hairs, allowing you to shape or clean up specific areas as desired.

Directions

1. Make sure your eyebrows are clean and free from any makeup or oils.
2. Using the spoolie, comb your eyebrow hairs upward and outward. This will help you see the natural shape of your brows and identify any longer or unruly hairs that need trimming.
3. Hold the eyebrow scissors in your dominant hand.
4. Position the comb attachment of the scissors over your brow,
so the comb teeth are facing upward. The comb will help guide the scissors and protect your skin from accidental cuts.
5. Carefully insert the scissors parallel to the comb and trim the excess length of hair. Trim small amounts at a time to avoid cutting too much. Always trim in the direction of hair growth, which is typically outward and upward.
6. Once you're satisfied with the shape and length of your eyebrows, brush them again with the spoolie, ensuring hairs are combed in the one direction.
7. Scissors can be used with or without the comb.
8. To remove or attach the comb, ensure the scissors are closed then slide the comb on or on the scissors.

I was pleased to receive this brow grooming kit to try, as I find my eyebrows can get a bit unruly and they need a slight trim occasionally. This kit is small but easy to use, so it's also ideal for your makeup bag too. The scissors are slanted and the small comb attachment makes it easy to brush eyebrows down or up to trim hairs evenly. I prefer using the scissors without the comb as I find the spoolie brush more practical. The spoolie has a slanted design and is ideal for shaping and styling eyebrows. This kit is easy to clean with warm soapy water or you can gently wipe the scissors and spoolie with a damp cloth.

Designed to be used together the duo allows you to comb and direct brow hairs with the spooly in one hand and then the scissors in the right hand to trim and hairs that are excessively long. Both tools are well made and work very well. I am a naturally left handed person and did find that the scissor tool is designed to work from a right handed use only. I was able to swap hands to continue use however i do see how this would make the product completely unusable for some left handed people who wouldn't be able to do this. I would purchase a left handed version of this product if it was on the market.

My boyfriend is particularly fond of this kit as he felt in control all while being able to achieve a well groomed and even brow groom. The scissors are super sharp so there wasn’t a lot of time needed to get the job done and the spoolie is exceptional making it very easy to align those hairs in their exact position before going in for the chop. Some sort of pouch would be a great addition to the kit to keep the spoolie and guarded scissors together but otherwise this is a great little investment to add to your beauty haul and ensure that you keep your brows tame and terrific any time you want.

The mascara brush is for yo use at the end of the process. The comb can be removed so you can just use the scissors. The scissors are every sharp. I loved the dark blue colour of the product This Product can be used by men or women. This product is easy to carry in your toiletry bag for when you travel. I received this product as a gift.The packaging was cardboard and plastic. It was easy to open. I also used this product on my husband because he has very brush eyebrows.

I have used scissors in the past to shape my brows, but I don't anymore as I have found that by doing so, I ended up with a misshapen look. This is the reason why I wasn't keen on using the scissors to cut my brows. I found that the comb attachment, together with the spoolie, were really effective in taming my brows, so I would use those again, but the scissors I would rather leave to the professionals. My husband said that he would give them a go though, as he has quite unruly, untamed brows for which using scissors to shape them would be useful!

The comb on the scissors is very good it can be removed. I used the comb to comb my eyebrows up before shrimming them . There is a mascara wang brush as well. The package made of cardboard and a little plastic. I received this product as a gift. I love the dark blue colour of the product. This product is suitable for men or women. The packaging was easy to open and use. The scissors be used on their own without the comb

He laughed the first time I suggested helping him, but now he's a convert. We were both excited for the opportunity to try to Manicare Facial Preparation Precision Brow Grooming Kit. We didn't find it precise enough, though. There is a comb attachment to the scissor that is a bit too wobbly and in the way. It is designed to help protect against cuts and to provide some length guidance, but it was easier for us to work without it. At times, it felt like the comb was completely blocking the blade, and no trimming was happening. I am getting a hang of the angled scissor vs a straight scissor, and I don't mind it so much now. I will keep attempting to learn how to best use the comb, but the scissors alone are performing ok.

The spoolie included in this kit was a good little addition and is quite simple and easy to use, combs the brow hairs up nicely. I was a bit nervous to be using the scissors on my brows but with the guard they work really well and was pleasantly surprised by this kit, being left handed it was a little awkward doing my right brow as I had to twist my hand a bit but ultimately I few this kit will be added to my regular brow grooming routine.

It includes a pair of brow scissors and a brow spoolie. The scissors have a pretty interesting design. They are curved with a comb that can be detached and attached. I have straight brows that grow downward and trim them regularly. I first combed down my eye brow hairs with a spoolie which worked great and then tried to trim my eyebrows with the comb on. I wasn’t having much success and found it much easier to trim my eye brows without the comb. It took a little bit of practice to get used to the shape of the scissors but they worked well and cut the hairs precisely.

The kit cam with instructions on how to use on the back which would be handy for those who haven't used one before. I'm lucky and my brows aren't unruly but hubby brows definitely needed a tidy. So he was my test subject! The spooley was nice and structured and easily brushed up the hairs to see which ones needed to be trimmed. The scissors had a comb to minimise any accidents cutting to much off. After trimming the brows I brushed them back down and they were much tidier

I used the brush to groom the brows which worked well however because my brows are so incredibly light I am not sure whether the scissors cut off much. I also don't have bushy brows therefore I am a little afraid to cut them, I would rather leave that up to a professional. I think if you had really bushy brows this would be great to help maintain some precision between getting your brows professionally done. The scissors could be used without the plastic cap which I suppose is an advantage.

The comb attachment on the scissors is helpful to keep brow hairs in line for more accurate cutting. I’m not sure if it is too different to just using a spooly and scissors though. As I have relatively sparse browns it didn’t have too much added value and I probably would not purchase again. I can imagine for someone with thicker brows this could be a lot more helpful as you can use both a spooly and the comb at the same time to hold hairs in place.

Im not someone who necessarily trims their brows much anyway simply because I dont think I need to. But if you are someone who does grow longer eyebrows then this tool is a really good product for exactly what it does. I do not think there is anything too special about this product, its safe, its easy to use and it works how it says it would. They are the main things it does. It makes trimming your brows easy and the angle of the scissors makes it very nice to hold. The rest is up to you to ensure you do it correctly and that your brows are even. Overall, it is an easy to use product and it does work.

The instructions on the packet were easy to follow and the tools look like they have a decent amount of longevity so you can get your moneys worth out of them. The scissors could be a bit sharper as I found sometimes they didn't cut and the hairs got stuck between the blades. I also found it a bit awkward to trim my left brow as I am right handed, but I think that would get easier with practice. The brow brush bristles were very ridged which was good. As a kit I'd like to see some tweezers included to round it out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by emilycrutcher from Not it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was most excited to try this product, as someone with curly hair, my eyebrows can become really unruly when they get a bit longer, and I usually just use nail scissors to trim them down. I was pretty disappointed with this product, the comb attachment on the scissors was difficult to use, maybe not at the right angle, but didn't seem to comb through the hairs well or pick many up, even when I did try different spots and angles on my face. This resulted in cutting off a lot more of my hair than I anticipated, which has left me with a lovely hole in one of the eyebrows. I believe this is due to not having much control with the scirrors and the comb attachment. Next time, I would probably remove the attachement and just use a spoolie and cut, like I have previously. The spoolie that came with the scissors however is really effective and feels quite sturdy.
