When used after proper brushing and flossing, Colgate Max Fresh mouthwash helps deliver a plaque-control system. Directions for use:
1) Fill cap to middle (20 mL)

It tastes like a watermelon lolly, and the flavour isn't overly strong or overpowering - more of a 'gentle' taste than lots of other mouthwashes, but it still feels very effective. The packaging is great (and you can actually get the cap off reasonably easily!), although it may not be the most child-proof design. Overall, I really enjoyed using it and I'd definitely purchase again.

I feel fresh after using it, my teeth look shinier and it doesn’t burn my mouth. My gums seem to have a healthier colour to them. I’m The only thing I might pick is it has a slightly weird taste. It’s not a bad taste, just isn’t exactly watermelon.

After that initial watermelon taste you then get the combination of that more familiar mint taste. I have been using this mouthwash as part of my twice daily routine for the last 2 weeks, and I can now say that I don't mind the taste and it leave quite a nice and lasting fresh aftertaste.

It gives me the confidence to go about my day with fresh breath, and the cooling sensation lasts longer than other mouthwashes I have tried. I like that the alcohol-free formula means I don’t have to worry about driving straight after my dental hygiene routine. I would love to see it with a childproof lid, but I will be buying this again!!!

I’m a big fan of mint in dental products, so I was apprehensive to try something different. However, the mint and watermelon worked so well together. It isn’t too intense either. I’m used to other brands of mouthwash where I can’t use it for more than 1 seconds and it’s burning my mouth. This was pleasant yet kept my mouth freh for ages! I was a huge fan of the packaging too. I’m a sucker for aesthetically pleasing packaging, the pinky-purple liquid with the images of watermelon sold me. I’d buy again in the future, and I think I’ll recommend my family to try this flavour. I want to see if Colgate have any other flavours in this range because I’m now keen to try more!

I never felt comfortable with mouthwash, the hot mint effects would cause my tongue to feel like it was burning during and after… the flavour always too strong and results not noticeably beneficial. Colgate watermelon literally lubricated my entire mouth. The instant pop from the watermelon was delicious, the level of mint with it was perfection… As if this wasn’t enough, the after effects were phenomenal. Crispy clean surface on my teeth and an epic freshness that stays all day. My teeth felt clean all day. My entire mouth felt so clean! I haven’t once felt in need of a brush throughout the day. Previously, depending on what I ate, I’d feel a buildup of unpleasant coatings and I’d be dying to brush my teeth. After too many sweets no doubt. There was always something missing - I use electric toothbrush, a water flosser, dental floss… now this completes. And this mouthwash was easy. Effortless. And enjoyable.

The flavour of the Watermelon and Mint was immediately detectable (as well as delicious) and while I was left with a clean mouth feel - I think the product could have stronger cleaning abilities to make it perfect. All in all I’d definitely purchase in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that caught my eye about this product was the striking colour of the mouthwash itself. It looked beautiful, inviting and an item that I really wanted to try. I was a little hesitant about the watermelon and mint combination at first but when I tried it, it just worked together. The taste was unique and not too over the top but it also left your mouth feeling fresh and ready to take on the day. The only negative I would have to say about the product is that I wish the mint after taste would just linger for a little longer but all in all it was a really good product.
