Directions

Apply daily to clean skin in the morning and night before moisturiser. Avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a man, apart from putting moisturiser on my face on a semi-regular basis, I’ve never really bothered too much with any set skin care routine. However, I’m getting on a bit now and decided to take more pride in my skin, which I should have done long ago really. I've been testing this product for seven days and it does seem to brighten my skin. My face felt smoother and softer after use. This seems like a good serum with a really nice smell to it. Only a tiny amount is need, it is super easy to apply and absorbs really well into the skin leaving no stickiness. I did not use according to directions though which were use cleanser first, then serum, then moisturiser, so I may have gotten a better result than I did (didn’t use moisturiser). But I will keep using the serum to see how my face looks and feels over a longer period of time.

I do like the refreshing feeling after each use. After applying the serum, it does not leave any oily feeling. The serum comes in a small bottle with a dropper. As the instruction mentions 3 drops, it is difficult to know how big a drop should be, so using the dropper and squezzing it can drop two, and need to fill it up again for a drop. Which I assume the expected lot. Applying it is easy as its cold when applied. While I don’t see any visible changes in my skin/face. I feel the refeshed and clean after using it.

It left my skin nice and smooth and had a nice smell to it. Over the week I had no reaction to it and was happy with the results. If it was on my vanity I would use it as it’s convenient to put on quickly and didn’t feel greasy, next time I’m in the supermarket I might give it another go and that’s saying I liked it.

It is a smooth Serum, applied with dropper to your hands and then your face. It makes the skin feel instantly smoother and retains that look for hours. The Serum is quite thick, so cannot run. It would be great, however, if the bottle were clear, so you could see how much is left in the bottle.

It is very easy to apply as part of your morning routine and leaves your skin feeling soothed especially after shaving. After a few day's I can see and feel my skin is more hydrated, softer. It doesn't feel oily or leave a oily residue on the skin. Overall, I am happy with the results.

Then this L’Oréal Paris Men Expert Vit C Serum arrived. My wife had to explain the need for a serum. Using it was really easy, nice classic mens L'Oreal smell (Ive used their products before) but the after smell isnt so pleasant for me, almost a metal smell but it goes away. After few weeks of daily use my wife notices improvements to my face but I dont. She sees me more than myself so I guess this product does what its intended. I find two drops to be a lot so pne drop is sufficient. Wished this was a see through bottle to know how much is left also.

It feels nice going on, but I have not noticed any discernible difference to my skin. I'm not the biggest fan on the dropper as it is hit and miss with how much it dispenses. As a trial I only used it on one side of my face twice daily and used the other side as a comparison. After a few days my skin did feel smoother. After a week this was sustained but no change in the colour, tone or fine lines. I will keep on using it over a longer period and over my entire face to see if time improves my skin further. In the photo I am pointing to the side of my face where I used the Hydra Energetic serum.
