This cream is heaven sent. The smell is a bit on the medical side but it's subtle. It's smooth and not sticky or tacky. I can see a slight lightening of acne scars. Will keep using it. It comes in a small pump bottle which is very easy to use and gives just the right amount of product each use. It has a mild scent which is great as I don’t like a lot of scent for my skincare. It has Bakuchiol which is said to be a milder alternative to retinol as well as Niacinamide which is great for brightening effect. The texture is very lightweight and gets absorbed easily. I have seen the smoothing and brightening effect but not so much yet in fading my marks, but It’s probably because I have only just used it for 2 weeks. It probably needs more time to fade older marks.

It also did not have any strong chemical smell. I did not notice any difference in what my skin looked like, other than I got less pimples after using the product. But, in saying that, I am over 40 and the damage was probably already done 25 years ago. It might have been a different story if I had used this product in my teen years, then the scarring on my face perhaps would not have occurred. I would definitely recommend teenagers use this product couple with the patches.

I was not quite happy with the power patches but the serum really worked well with the post acne marks. It has been three weeks now and I have noticed a slight decrease in the coloration of brownish, sun damage areas on my face. My skin looks clear and fresh. I will keep using the serum as my skin is definitely showing an improvement in tone and texture. The serum is easily absorbed into my skin and worked very well under moisturizer and makeup. I experienced no irritation and the serum has only a very slight fragrance. A good product and I Iook forward to further improvement with extended use.

I predominantly used the Benzac Post Acne Serum on my upper back, as I have quite a bit of acne scarring there. I didn't find the smell very appealing - a little too like chemicals for me, but loved the texture. It was also gentle on my skin. It spread easily and evenly and was easy to use. I didn't find a change in the colour of the scarring however I did find that my skin felt smoother. I also found that the texture of my skin seemed more even. I liked the Benzac Post Acne Serum and would continue to use.
