Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feels like there needs to be more hearts [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did like using this and really loved the fun hearts that you squeeze out. It definitely makes brushing your teeth more fun and gets you excited about how many hearts will fit on your toothbrush! The most I got in one go was 3! Got a bit confused initially as I didnt realise the consistency of the toothpaste was a translucent pink-red colour when it looked more opaque on the packaging. It doesn't have a intense minty flavour which I prefer but it still cleans your teeth well. Has same amount of fluoride (1450 ppm F) as the standard Colgate toothpaste tubes. I feel like to improve it needs to have double the amount of hearts included in the tube so that you can guarantee at least one heart on your toothbrush, there were several times when I wouldn't get a heart and it would make me sad.

Colgate MaxFresh Breath Hearts was a fresh tasting toothpaste. The little hearts in the paste were a cute touch, but I didn’t find they really handed any freshness. Although I found the taste pleasing I didn’t notice any breath freshening benefit above what my regular Colgate toothpaste offered.

It is very gel-like in consistency which is different to usual toothpastes. The taste is fine, not over-powering and it does leave a nice taste in your mouth afterwards. However, it doesn't stand out compared with any other toothpastes I have tried, and the colouring and 'breath hearts' seem like a bit of a gimmick and unnecessary. Overall, doesn't do a bad job, but wouldn't choose it again off the shelf over any other toothpaste.

It’s easy to make foam and brushing teeth very smooth. Also It looks really cute, there are heart chips inside paste. Probably good for someone who dose not like traditional toothpaste favour.

It's more a gel than paste and does not give a freshly cleaned mouth feel like regular Colgate fluoride toothpaste. The hearts also don't dissolve very well so I feel that it may just be for gimmicks. One thing I do like about it is that it doesn't leave a 'crunchy' feel in your mouth like regular Colgate toothpaste does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were more interested in this because of the small hearts but there were very few in the tube thus far. The toothpaste is just ok tasting. I noticed zero difference with the fresh hearts though as mentioned there were not many. I could see young girls going for this in a kids version but as an adult certainly not for me. Cannot see this product making it to shelf or if it does, lasting very long.

The toothpaste had a clear, barely pink tinge, and the promised hearts were practically non-existent—definitely not the vibrant or fun design I was expecting. It felt like a classic case of false advertising. If you’re buying it for the novelty factor, you’ll likely be disappointed. However, it does deliver on basic freshness. Overall, not worth the hype.
