1. Charge for approximately 3 hours (2V) with supplied charging cable before first use. The LED light will stop flashing when fully charged.
2. Ensure hair is clean, dry and knotless with one of Lady Jayne's detangling brushes before styling.
3. Turn your 2 in 1 Hair Styler on by holding down the Power button for three seconds and select the temperature best suited to your hair type.
4. The 2 in 1 Hair Styler will take 3-5 minutes to preheat.
5. For smooth, straight hair, work in small sections and place the 2n1 Hair Styler close to the roots without touching the scalp. Slowly glide along the length of the hair and repeat. Avoid holding the tool in one place for too long.
6. For curls, work in small sections and place the 2n1 Hair Styler close to the roots without touching the scalp. Place the hair between the plates and as you slide the ceramic plates along the length of the hair, rotate the tool whilst keeping steady pressure to allow the hair to move through the styler.
7. For a more textured natural look, alternate your styling direction with each section.
8. After every use, charge your 2 in 1 Hair Styler fully to ensure you are always ready for on-the-go styling.

I love that I can straighten my hair anywhere and at any time, without having to find a plug. This is a game-changer. The only disadvantage would be the time it takes to heat up, as it does take a little while. But apart from this small downside, The Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable 2 in 1 Hairstyler is such a clever and convenient product. Would recommend it for those of us who are always on the go, and who need a product that is convenient and practical.

I have fine hair, but a lot of it. I found this styler was really easy to use, got hot enough to be used effectively and held well even after a few hours. Not having to manouver around a cord was also super handy! The charge doesn't seem to last more than three style sessions (roughly 30min total), however that was expected. It charged quickly and because it sits upright, is easy to have on the bench in the bathroom. I will still likely reach for my Cloud9, but only because it is already set up in the bathroom, and has a slightly bigger plate. It would be super handy to keep in your gym bag for before work, or if you were heading out and wanted a quick touch up.

The hairstyler is a full size straightener and comes with charging cable and black velvet cover. It too, consistent in the theme with soft touch matte black and rose gold accents. It feels high end to hold. Small rose gold switches turn the unit on / off and lock the paddles closed or unlock. A small circular button turns the heating elements on with multiple pushes selecting the option from 160*C to 180*C to the highest setting of 200*C. Three small blue leds surround the circular button signalling the battery life of the unit. Functionality of the hairbrush: SIMPLY DIVINE. With one use it became my new holy grail brush and I plan on buying a back up. I have not used another brush since. The base of the brush is a coil design which gives it flex to detangle without snagging on knots and breaking the hair. The combination of gentle nylon pin bristles detangle the hair, while the boar bristles smooth and shine the top layer. It detangled my daughter’s curly (sleep-matted) hair in seconds with no tugging - usually she requires hair oil and detangling spray and there is still an ouch or two no matter how careful I am. In my daughter’s words “you better give this brush a good review mum!” Functionality of the hairstyler: there is a reason hair straighteners are plug-in powered. A battery just isn’t powerful enough. First of all it takes 5 minutes to heat up (which is the recommended time on the instructions). Whilst I expect this, it is a considerable amount of time for a portable straightener that is designed for on-the-go, travel-type tools. Secondly, I have very fine hair and not much of it - my hair is very easy to straighten - and unfortunately this styler didn’t have the heat to straighten effectively (I suspect that it loses heat through the hair very quickly and the battery isn’t powerfully enough to keep it at 200*C consistently. I had it on the hottest setting but after the first couple of sections, it had lost heat and I needed to use veeeery small sections and do two or three passes before it straightened effectively. It did last through the day. The battery life is okay - I managed to get through my whole head on one charge, but I imagine on thicker hair, particularly if curling the hair, it may not last the whole time. Purpose: I was trying to decide on the purpose of this battery powered straightener. I thought about touch ups for an event, but then given that it is full-size, it is not easily portable in an evening bag AND if I am out at a wedding or event, bathrooms have power supply so I feel a travel sized plug in straightener would be better suited. So I then considered where I wouldn’t have plug in power and could only think of travel overseas where PowerPoints are different, but then you have power adapters and this straightener needs a power supply to charge anyway, or camping trips. When I am camping I do not style my hair however I can imagine this may be very useful to those who do. The charging cable has a USB port meaning that it would easily charge in the car or using another device charger.

The 2 in 1 Hairstyler is a sleek matte black and gold colour which has gold buttons. One of the side buttons is a lock button which is great to have - no worrying about things getting caught in it! It has 3 different temperature settings so you can set the temperature to match your hair type (super helpful to minimise damage). It's also rechargable so no cord getting in the way which is great when using. The charger is a cord, plugs into the styler and the other end is like a usb - it doesnt come with a wall connector so I used the wall connector from my phone charger (if that makes sense). It takes 3hrs to charge before first use and a few minutes to heat up before using. It comes with a black velvet pouch for storage. I found straightening was like using my normal straighter. Curling was easier without having a cord getting in the way but I feel like I could almost get the same results with my normal straighter (I've used it to create curls before). The best feature for me is the different temperature settings - it's great being able to set to my hair type (long and thick). I would recommend this if you're looking for your first straightener or curling wand or if you're looking to get a new one. The Paddle Brush was great! Also black and gold in colour. The bristles worked great with my hair. Its the type of hairbrush I usually get whenever I need a new one so it was perfect for me. I highly recommend it!

It’s super easy to use, loving that it’s cordless, my hair felt soft after using it, my hair didn’t get snagged in the plates which has happened with other similar products and it’s so easy to take anywhere. It’s light weight and didn’t get too hot like other products do. It did a relatively good job straightening my hair, it wasn’t super straight, it was more of a natural straight but is so quick and easy to use. I have thicker wavy hair and did need to go over some of my waves a few times to get them straight enough. Love it though and will be trying it on my teen daughters hair ❤️

With to its floating ceramic plates and curved barrel, you can choose whether you would like to straighten or curl your hair - I loved how easy it was to add curls to my hair and after styling I loved how my hair remained frizz-free. The stylyer is lightweight and cordless, making it super convenient to use. It has a USB C rechargeable port and 3x LED digital heat controls so you can manage the temperature of the styler.

I enjoyed the convenience of not requiring a power outlet to use the tool as this allowed me touch up my hair while out and about. I feel as though the tool wouldn’t work as well on very curly hair. Personally, I blow dried my curly hair with a brush and used it to put a wave through the ends and flatten out the more stubborn hairs that frame my face. The tool enabled me to both style my hair and touch up throughout the day well. I enjoyed how user friendly it is and like the fact you can alter the temperature with three different settings available. Overall, I enjoy the convenience and this and would certainly reach for it again.

Once charged for 3 hours, the hair styler has 45 minutes of charge, making it perfect for travel. The brush was a great size and I loved the flexibility and combination bristles. The hair styler has three heat settings depending on hair type. It comes with detailed instructions on which setting to use and how to use the hair styler to achieve straightened, curled or textured hair. It left my hair feeling soft and smooth, without feeling like I had fried my hair. My only complaint would be the size of the heat plates, I found them a bit small with some pieces overflowing at times.

Personally I have quite thick hair and didn't get hot enough to straighten, curl or style it properly, but it worked really well on my daughters hair which is thinner than mine. She absolutely loves that she can styler hair so easily with the new 2 in 1 hair styler. I love that it is rechargeable and you can take it with you anywhere with you, as it not huge and bulky and it comes with its own little carry case. It comes with clear instructions and is very easy to use. It's very light to hold. I also have the paddle brush that I use before the hair styler and I love that it makes my hair so smooth as normally when I brush my hair, it goes frizzy and unmanageable.

The brush is a great size and I love the flexibility and dual style bristles. The hairstyler has 3 different heat settings depending on your hair type. The instructions were clear and provided information on how to use the tool to achieve straight, curled or textured hair. Once charging the hairstyler, it has 45 minutes of charge. It is perfect for travel as it doesn’t take up much space (as long as you remember to charge it/bring the charger). My only complaint would be the size of the heat plates. This time I was lucky enough to try out their 2 in 1 Pro Styler which contains a wireless hair straightener and a paddle hair brush. Firstly, 2 in 1 Pro Styler is lightweight and the just the perfect size to fit in my handbag which is so handy for traveling. And yes, it is cordless so I’m now able to give my hair a quick touch up anywhere. The styler takes about a minute to preheat and it comes in few temperature settings. Personally, I don’t have much experience in curling my hair but this styler was very easy to use and I was able to get a nice wavy hair. After getting the curling my hair I loosen the curls by using the paddle brush which gives the most beautiful wavy hair. And of course the straightening function works perfectly as well. The only improvement I would suggest is to extend the heat panel which will be easier to curl hair for those with mid to long hair length. Overall, a great product and I would recommend to others.

This is the first of many. First time using lady jayne and first time using a rechargeable hair straightener!!! The straightener itself is a bit smaller than my daily corded hair straightener but that's actually what I like about it. If you want to take it on holiday, store it in your car or hand bag, it's definitely a space saver. The product is sleek and the material is very heavy duty which ensures durability. Now onto the usage... when corded it is identical to my regular high end hair straightener, however when it's fully charged I noticed a slight difference in the heat temperature. This is understandable as I wouldn't want or need it to be the same high temperature when using it on the go. It's great for touch ups and doesn't take too long to cool down so you can pop it back in your bag or car after using it. The paddle brush I absolutely LOVED! The Brissles are both hard and soft so it doesn't pull my hair out like other paddle Brushes can do. It adds a shine to my hair as well which I didn't know a brush could do!! I'm obsessed with it and it's become the only hair brush I use for my hair. All in all I'm very impressed with the hair straightener and paddle brush and I will be trying more lady jayne products in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] such an easy tool to make your hair look amazing. works every time. i liked to use it while my hair was wet and also dry. i think this is such a great product and the price of it and how convenient it is makes it even better! i could not recommend this product enough. i love how it leaves my hair feeling like it is not damaged in anyway while also being able to create and play with heaps of different hairstyles. it is definitely beginner friendly and perfect for all hair types and lengths!! just make sure you use heat protection to help your hair stay healthier for longer

It would be good if you only needed fringe or just a pony tail done. I ended up selling it and decided to travel with my ghd instead as it wasn't much smaller or lighter than that. It's a nice product though and well presented and feels nice in your hands. Worth a try for the price!

Here are a couple things that I realised over the time of me using it. The battery life really does not last long and slowly gets weaker until it dies very quickly. I really like the idea of being able to take it anywhere to touch up your hair, but I don’t think it’s suitable for doing a full thick head of hair. I think this product is better for people with hair above their butt and has thinner hair another thing I don’t quite like about it is the fact that the placement of the buttons is right where you would hold it so I found myself always accidentally turning it off then waiting another five minutes for it to reheat. I also realise the amount of time it takes to charge is much much longer than the amount of time it lasts overall I think this is a decent product but that is just my opinion on my hair. I think this would do a great job on thinner and shorter hair

The battery life is quite short and really doesn’t last for long. It takes quite some time to charge and as for the effectiveness, it does straighten my hair pretty well but the rest of my head not really. I was only able to nicely style my front curtain bangs. I have pretty thick hair so I think it is better for more thin and short hair, not thick and long hair. another thing I don’t like about it is the placement of the buttons is exactly where you would hold the straightener so often times I would find myself accidentally turning it off which was irritating. overall I rate this a 3 out of 5 stars, but that was just my experience. I think this would do really well with shorter and thinner hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a lot to like about this heat styler, but a couple of things to look out for, too. I have pretty straight hair naturally, so straightening isn't something I do often, but this styler did a great job of smoothing my hair for a really clean look. It was quick and easy to use, and I really liked that the exterior didn't get too hot to touch, I could guide it through my hair easily. As I have bleached hair, I set it to the lowest setting (as recommended), which, used with the paddle brush, did a good job of smoothing. When I tried to use the styler to create curls, though, I had to crank the heat up a bit — on the lowest setting my hair just wouldn't take the shape. (Possibly to be expected?!) I was able to form soft curls, but had to use very small sections (again, possibly to be expected, but I'm impatient and wanted to be able to do bigger chunks of hair in less time!). I love that this styler is rechargeable — very handy, and it meant I could charge it up and chuck it in my handbag and take to work for touch-ups before heading straight out to dinner afterwards. The only thing I would say is it does take a while to heat up, compared to some of the higher-end stylers — while a ghd takes something like 30 seconds, this styler took closer to 5 minutes (which, in the scheme of things, isn't that long, but it was noticeable for me). But overall, I think this is a good little heat styling tool for the price point, and the paddle brush is its perfect sidekick.

Charging is simple and requires a usb port- adding to the convenience. The hairstyler works as expected however as instructed, it is best to set your desired temperature before heating the styler. The styler did not personally leave my long hair dead straight however it did straighten it as expected. I feel this hair styler would be particularly great at taking in my handbag or car for touch ups when out and about or heading out for lunch or dinner. Can’t forget to mention how cute the super cute carry/storage pouch is. And loved the idea of a stand up base (no more burnt surfaces). The paddle brush is super flexible and has different type of bristles. It works great with the hair styler, both when straightening hair or when brushing out curls. The only con would be that depending on your hair type, it may leave hair slightly static looking as I experienced this when using a particular conditioner, but not another. All in all, I rate this a 3/5, great value for money, does as expected and super super convenient.

Thank you Beauty Heaven!! The packaging was impressive and looked expensive with the black and gold theme. I was very excited to give it a whirl! Followed the instructions and charged it up for 3 hours before use to get the best out of the battery life. I tried curling my hair first. Was easy to use and gave me a good result with bouncy curls. I must also admit I LOVED the freedom of the cordless feature!! You can literally do your hair anywhere!! Love the freedom and not having to be tied to a power outlet. This is where things start to get a bit disappointing. Washed and dried my hair and decided to straighten it. Heated it up and increase the heat setting and it just didn't feel like it got hot at all, it just didn't give me the results I have achieved from other straighteners before and found the plates to be rather small and kept pinching and catching my hair and being really uncomfortable to use. I felt it did not achieve the results I would like to out of a straightener and left my hair feeling still somewhat frizzy and not sleek or smooth like I would have expected. The other let down was the battery. I found it didn't last long at all and I was constantly having to recharge it! It has 3 bars of battery and after just 1 use it dropped 2 bars and left me with just 1. I am so sorry but unfortunately would not recommend and would opt for my current hair straightener over this product

Rated 2 out of 5 by Reese from Literally did nothing The temperature display is probably for decorative purpose only, was trying to straighten my hair but nothing seems to happen. Apparently one side of the plate was not heated at all, not sure is it something wrong with the one I bought or is it meant to be like that. Not really effective for frizz control as well even for my short hair, maybe can be improved by having an option to use it with cord, at least something works 🤔

It's been great to fix up my bangs, as it only takes 1 minute to do so. But I'm currently trying to curl my shoulder length hair and its becoming an issue. It was fully charged and connected to a power outlet and it still ran out of charge after 10 minutes. I've been waiting 40 minutes now for it to be charged enough to use, but again it's not staying on. I would have thought the power outlet would just keep it on, but no. It's completely useless on the power outlet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable 2 in 1 Hairstyler is cordless, rechargeable and has 3 settings. It feels comfortably within the hand,has an ability to lock the tool closed, which is great for packing and also comes with a travel pouch. Unfortunately that is where the good stuff ends for me. The tool takes 3 hours to charge, which will allow up to 40 minutes of use,depending on the heat setting used. I have quite thick, wavy hair and opted to use the highest setting. Once the tool was charged, it took 5 minutes to heat properly and then I went to work. And work. And work. Despite sectioning my hair and spending 35 minutes, I was still unable to achieve straightness or greatness. Although a little smoother before I started, I was very disappointed with the result. My heart is broken, I so wanted to love this, but possibly it may be more suitable for thin hair. The plates are quite small, compared to the exxy brands that I am used to, which would have been forgiven if I could have achieved the desired result. The paddle brush however, I loved. The head of the brush allows flexibility to contour to the shape of your head (which you don't think you need, until you have it). Easy and comfortable use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by akira from Convenient for travel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the pleasure of trialling the new Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable 2 in 1 Hair Styler. I have used hair straighteners for 15 years so am very familiar with using them as part of my daily routine. The size of the hair straightener is great- not too large yet not small either, perfect for travelling. A soft suede case is provided which is very cute, however I don't believe it is heat resistance so you must wait for the styler to cool down before you can put it back in. This unfortunately isn't great for popping it away! Initial charge time is 3 hours, which gives around 45 mins of cordless styling time. I charged mine fully before my first used. There are 3 different temperature options- 160, 180 and 200 degrees celsius. I set mine to 180 degrees as it is the usual temperature that I used. Heat up time does take around 5 minutes, which I understand because it is cordless, and it's easy to set and do your make up whilst you wait for it to heat up. The plates glided so smoothly in my hair, however the heat was not very hot despite being 180 degrees (which is the typical temperature that I use with my regular corded straightener)! I turned it up to 200 degrees, waited a few minutes for it to reach temperature, and tried again. However the plates were not hot and did not manage to straighten my hair! It was a huge disappointment for a product that had so much potential. The idea of the styler is great, being portable and cordless, however its functionality just was not there. I will be sticking with my corded hair straightener, even for travel.

I have thin fine hair that takes seconds to heat style however this tool left my hair still frizzy/fluffy with kinks. Trying to curl just did nothing. I did a side-by-side with my regular straightener and the results were day and night. The tool takes ages to heat up (like straighteners from a decade ago) and even when it's reached temperature, it doesn't seem to be hot enough to be effective. The plates are short so you can only run very thin sections through and there's a little bit that sticks out in the middle of the tong (the locking mechanism) that my hair kept getting snagged in. A pro is that it's cordless, so attempting to curl the hair was very easy. One charge really only lasts one session, so you have to recharge after each use which is easy with the USB. You cant use plugged in though
