It can be used on wet and dry hair and is suitable to use on all hair types. It is really easy to use, I just apply two drops and rub between my palms before applying evenly through the lengths of my hair. I use this product to refresh my hair after using the L'Oréal Glycolic Gloss range. This serum provides instant shine and protects my hair from being damaged in the future. Glycolic Acid helps seal the cuticles so I can have long lasting effects. This product has quickly become my go to. I definitely recommend L'Oréal Glycolic Leave in Serum and I will be purchasing it in the near future.

I had just run out of my previous serum and wanted to try something different for my hair and oh my god this product. Most serums I have tried either leaves my hair oily or dull looking but this doesn’t. Everything about this product is so good, from smell to the results of my hair afterwards. I haven’t felt my hair so soft and shiny in quite a while. This serum feels like custom made for my hair. I would definitely purchase it on repeat. Recommending this to anyone who wants a perfect looking salon like hair. I have got so many compliments from my friends and family about my hair. 5/5 product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glittery but subtle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Leave-in Serum features subtle glitter in a cloudy pink base and has the same mellow floral tropical scent as the other products in the range. While the glitter is noticeable in the bottle and on the hand after application, it appears subtle on the hair, providing an immediate glossy and shiny boost. The serum distributes easily through wet hair, and only 2-3 pumps are needed, so a little goes a long way to avoid weighing down the hair. However, this is the product I am least likely to repurchase from the set of four in this range, as the shampoo, conditioner, and lamination already provided sufficient results.

I’ve used this a few times now and I still can not get over how good it smells in my hair the amount of compliments I have received are amazing. I’m leaving a 4 star review for this one because as for the others I’ve seen a dramatic result this one is still taking some time to really show a big change but I would definitely recommend this to others. It stops my hair from tangling through out the day even while I’m at work and that’s what I love most about this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is quite a thick serum that really feels like it seals my hair and tames frizz and fly aways. Used with the shampoo, conditioner and gloss treatment, my hair feels so soft and less prone to tangles, and it is noticeably more shiny. This serum has very fine glitter that is super pretty, and unlike anything I’ve tried. It is on the heavier side, so should be used sparingly for those with fine hair, and only applied to the ends of the hair. My only con is that I wish it had heat protection in it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective Serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to get on the trial team for the Glycolic Gloss Leave in Serum product, and used it in conjunction with the shampoo, conditioner and lamination product in the range. When combining the shampoo, conditioner, lamination product, and serum I found my hair was noticeably softer and silky. It did however make my hair harder to style, as when I heat styled it, it dropped very quickly afterwards. I also don’t know if I would use the entire range together, and although each product was very effective on its own, it was very time consuming to use all four products in the range in one session. Nevertheless, it is an effective serum so I would recommend it to others who are looking for a serum that easy to use and apply, and one that doesn’t leave any unwanted residue.

I really like it so far love the sparkle/glitter as it makes your hair look more shinny!! This product smells amazing and makes your hair feel really hydrated. You do not need a lot of this product as a little goes a long way. As you don’t want to weigh the hair down and make it go oily faster. I use it on my ends and whatever is left just on my flyways. I would definitely repurchase after I finish the bottle. Good amount of product and very easy to use and apply. Definitely recommend as it’s also different with the sparkle inside!

As usual, this product smells gorgeous, as does the entire range. The product has a nice feel to it and is a lovely finishing step in my hair care routine. Taking 1 star off as I haven't seen an amazing transformation while using this, but in saying that, it does make my hair smell and feel lovely after use! It adds a lovely finish to this range when used altogether. I'm excited to see how my hair reacts to use after long term usage!

I tried the serum once with wet hair after my shower and then another time after I had blow dried and straightened my hair, (I have really curly hair) and the results were a lot nicer when I applied a bit to my ends when the hair was dry. The serum looks like it would have sparkly glitter in it, but you don't notice it once it's in your hair. A little goes a long way, so the bottle could last a long time. I like that the bottle is recyclable, I like that it is sulfate-free, and it states on the back that they don't test on animals - so a star for that. I would recommend this to friends that are looking for a serum product for some gloss and shine.

I used it in order with the shampoo, conditioner, laminate and then this leave in serum, I only needed a few drops as the bottle stated even though I have very long hair I find it went a long way, unlike some of the other serums I often use. I feel like this size bottle is perfect and will last a long time given I don't have to use much to get my desired look. Very nice feel also, not sticky or tacky and it absorbed really well into my towel dried hair. Will definetly continue to purchase this product! Visually appealing also! .

I tried applying the recommended amount on the bottle 'two drops' but it evaporated by the time I'd rubbed it between by palms and was ready to apply it to my hair. I then tried two pumps and whilst I was able to apply it to my hair, it left it looking oily and a bit limp rather than the desired glossy and shiny effect. The third time, I tried one pump and this finally seemed to be the right amount. Upon application, I didn't really notice any extra shine in my hair, but it did a good job at taming any loose strands. Whilst I applaud the environmentally friendly production process (bottle is recycled material, factory uses renewable energy, no animal testing etc) I think that for the hefty price and compared to what is currently available on the market, it could be a better and easier to use product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for Oily Hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I love that the packaging of the Glycolic Gloss Leave-in Serum is pink, it looks nice on display with the other products in the line. The fragrance of the Glycolic Gloss Leave-in Serum is nice and not overpowering. The smell linger for a little while after use as well. My hair is free from bleach or colour and is fine and long. My scalp is normal to dry. I typically use a hydrating cream that has thermal protection qualities after a wash. When I used the Glycolic Gloss Leave-in Serum it spread nicely throughout my hair and seemed to soak in well. It is a clear serum like texture. My hair felt clean and hydrated after using the 4 steps of the Glycolic Gloss line. I dried my hair with a hair dryer and then straightened it. My hair did look shinier then pre-wash. I wouldn’t say my hair was significantly glossier. Once dry and straight, my hair went static-y which doesn’t normally happen if I use a leave-in treatment. Due to this, I will continue to use the treatment but will not purchase in the future.

I used it on wet/damp hair immediately after using the rest of the range (the shampoo, conditioner and laminate), and I feel that this likely maximised the effectiveness of the product. While perhaps the sparkle/glitter within the product itself was perhaps visually attractive, when viewed inside the bottle, it was rather off-putting to put a sparkly product in my hair. Fortunately, the sparkles weren't visible when added to my hair. I like how the brand made the outer layer of packaging able to be peeled off so that the bottle can be recycled. I enjoyed using this product.
