Rated 5 out of 5 by from FABULOUS moisturiser for the Winters [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love CeraVe! I was pumped to trial this cream, and I wasn't disappointed. Creamy, nourishing and hydrating, it is safe to use every night, come winter season. Sydney has had cold weather the last few days, and this cream has become my new bedside favourite. I will buy this again (as it's a small tube) when I run out and also add one in my handbag, for when I'm out and about. If you need a moisturiser for the face, hands and lips, that does some heavy lifting, this one is for you. Will recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth as! Was lucky enough to trial this product at home and loved it! Also shared with my younger teenage sister. I for starters loved the size! I travelled since receiving the product and loved that it fits in my travel bag without taking up so much room. Being in Melbourne has also left my skin feeling very dehydrated from having the heater on especially at night, so having this on to lock in moisture has been fantastic! I also suffer from sensitive skin and haven't found to react at all. I found this helpful with around my lips whilst having a cold keeping them hydrated. My younger sister who has trouble with acne loved that this didnt feel oily and clog her skin, she felt it helped keep her face feeling fresh and smooth for longer then she's had with other products. Having both feeling hydrated and smooth We would happily buy this again or recommend to others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instantly moisturised me! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised how long lasting and quick acting this product was. CeraVe has really gone above and beyond with this product formulation. I experience very dry patches on my lips, face and hands that can sometimes be consistent weeks on end with moisturisers only giving me temporary release, where this product worked overnight! I used CeraVe advanced repair balm as an overnight mask on my face and hands and woke up with great skin. My only complaint is the products texture as it left me feeling very slimey. Compared to normal moisturisers which usually have a cream consistency and soak into the skin the advanced repair cream's texture was more close to Paw Paw ointment. Product was thick but still easy to apply, when recommending to other I suggest start small and build product or you will end up a little bit of a slimey mess. I definitely would buy this product again if my dry patches on my skin remained and use it more of a spot treatment rather then an overnight mask. I would not recommend this product as your daily moisturiser as it is very strong but perfect for an individual who suffers chronically dry skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great soothing balm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting this product to be a regular moisturiser, but was intrigued to discover the balm texture. The balm is similar in consistency to Vaseline, paw paw or lanolips. It is very thick and a little goes a long way. It feels similar to using one of these products, but the added ingredients really make a difference - where using some if these others can sometimes leave your skin even drier once it soaks in, the CeraVe balm leaves skin hydrated. I have mainly been using this on my lips before bed as it provides great overnight hydration. I will definitely continue to use it in this way. I have also used on the back of my hands and elbows and have found it very effective. I did try it on larger parts of my body, like knees or feet, however found it was too sticky to be comfortable in those areas. I was grateful to receive this as part of Review Crew.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Winter necessity [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cerave Advanced Repair balm has been a game-changer for my skincare routine. It's incredibly hydrating without being heavy, perfect for my sensitive skin. Perfect for dry winter skin. The ceramides and hyaluronic acid combo leaves my skin feeling nourished and plump. Plus, it's fragrance free and a generous size tube which are big wins. The product is easy to use and absorbs right away. My dry patches are gone since I started using it. Definitely a new staple in my skincare routine. I highly recommend adding this one to your handbag

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thick, Hydrating Balm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm is so soothing and Hydrating, it's become a necessity in my colder weather skin care routine. I'd had a day outside, gotten a little sun and wind exposure. I applied this to my chest and neck and it almost instantly eased and hydrated my skin. With the inclusion of hyaluronic acid, I can see that the skin on my neckline and chest is actually looking plumper and clearer than before I commenced using it. The feel is too greasy for use on my hands, but it is perfect for feet. It's also great for lips, but personally I preferred a flavoured balm. It's quite pricey, but you only need a little, so I expect the tube will last me for a few months, so it works out to be economical. Definitely worth trying if you are looking for a fixer for dry skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Locks in moisture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This waxy petrolatum based balm is smoothly applied, thick and moisturising. Great for overnight treatment on dry feet and heels, hands, rough and dry patches on the body and lips. I love how easy it is to use and spreads well onto the skin. The squeezy tube is hygienic and non messy and the product is a great size to keep in your bedside drawer for night time. I mostly used it for my feet with socks on afterwards and I woke up to soft and hydrated feet. I found that there was a slight residue left over however so definitely use with socks or wait a while for it to soak in. Repeated use has kept my feet from cracking in the dry weather and I will continue to use this product as I'm so happy with it. The fact that it was developed with dermatologists gives me confidence and I love Cere ve as a brand so I'm sold

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Dry Skin Saviour [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe continues to come to the rescue with their latest dry skin saviour - the Advanced Repair Balm. I like to describe this balm as a revved-up Vaseline; it's similar to the Petroleum Jelly we all know, with the added benefits of Derm-recommended ceramides and the super buzzy (and effective!) Hyaluronic Acid. Not only does this non-greasy balm protect and soothe, it also works to repair the skin's moisture barrier, which can easily be compromised from the harsh use of too many skincare actives (which, I'm guilty of - oops), or caused by a colder climate (hello winter). Unlike some repairing products on the market, this one has no fragrance, and is a thicker consistency with a comfortable, non-greasy, soft feel. Not too waxy, not too slippy, just right. It's also housed in a tube which is perfect for on-the-go, and is a LOT less messy than digging your digits into a tub. I personally prefer to use this product on my chapped lips or as an occlusive layer over a hydrating serum when slugging overnight. I also tried it my heels and over a scabbed knee, to which it worked wonders in both cases! It definitely lives up to the claim of being a multi-use product, and it's definitely going to get a solid workout during the colder months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soothing Repair Balm for dry skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I was selected to try and review this Cerave Advanced Balm . I have been using this on my cracked and dry lips, it feels soothing and hydrated my lips. For the formula I find it a bit thick to put on the face but if it just dry spot on the face it still okay. I used it also on my hand and around my fingernails area , it soothes and hydrated also. I loves that it fragrance free , alcohol free & hypoallergenic. This is very handy for me , a mini size to put in a bag and use it now it’s getting cold now in Melbourne. This is is suitable for babies also I can use it also to my daughter which is a plus we can use it together. So far so good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for winter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm and I am blown away by the results! This product is amazing for anyone with dry, cracked skin. It is super hydrating and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. What I love most about this balm is that it is non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin. It also contains ceramides, which help to restore the skin's natural barrier and lock in moisture, making it perfect for those with sensitive skin. After using this balm for just a few days, I noticed a significant improvement in the texture and appearance of my skin. It has helped to repair and soothe any dry patches, leaving my skin looking healthy and radiant. I highly recommend the CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm to anyone looking for a nourishing and effective moisturizer. It is a game changer for dry skin and has quickly become a holy grail product in my skincare routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for rough skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cream definitely soothes, protects and softens skin. It's a thicker consistency than a standard lotion so I found I could only use it on my lips regularly, to use for a hand cream you need to not use your hands for a while so it doesn't transfer onto whatever you're touching. I wasn't quite brave enough to put it on my feet before bed as I didn't want it on the sheets (socks in bed is horrifying). Not sure how much I'll use it but I think it will come in handy in winter for skin damaged by cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A small amount goes a long way! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm. I used it mainly for my dry hands. It has a thick consistency and a small amount goes a long way. My hands are always dry especially with winter coming up. It immediately soothes and hydrated my skin. It felt smooth and moisturised.I occasionally use it on my dry lips too and I'm amazed at how soft my lips feel after using CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm. I like that it is fragrance free. I will buy it again because not only that it's a really good moisturiser, I also don't have to use much product to get the benefits of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fabulous balm for winter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great addition to my winter skincare routine - more for dryer patches on my arms than face - this is a very thick balm that I would find far too much for my face. That said, it was great for body and it provided lasting moisture for the skin. While thick, it was easy to apply and soaked in nicely (however a bit too sticky to use on hands, despite it saying on the back of the tube it can be used for hands). It also says it’s suitable for babies and I used this on dry patches on my baby’s skin from crawling which worked really, really well. I would purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for dry skin - didn’t make me break out! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive, dehydrated, acne prone skin and have been on a skincare journey to improve my skin. I’d been meaning to try “slugging” overnight, so I was really glad to trial this product. It has a similar texture to Vaseline), but it’s a bit more cosmetically elegant. After applying my usual nighttime serums, I used a pea sized amount of the cerave repair balm all over my face and neck. In the mornings my face did feel a bit greasy, but it wasn’t a big deal as I wash my face in the mornings anyway. The balm is quite thick, so I was a bit worried it would make me break out, but after using it nightly for 2 weeks I haven’t had any new pimples. I also travel a lot for work (a lot of flying and staying in cold air conditioned rooms), so my skin can get dry and dehydrated. Since using this my skin hasn’t been as dry. Overall, I would definitely buy this and use it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Use sparingly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use retinol products so I was very happy to get this product as its so important to keep your skin hydrated to counteract the drying properties of retinol. Cerave is also such a good brand and you know you are getting a quality product when you use this label. As this is such a thick and occlusive balm, you only need a small pea size amount for your whole face. The trick with a pea size is to dot it all over your face and then rub it in to ensure you get good coverage. This balm is so thick that if you use too much it won't feel very good at all so make sure you use it sparingly. One of the main ingredients is vaseline which is a wonder ingredient to protect your skin barrier and lock in moisture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good balm, but nothing spectacular [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice repair balm. No smell and the texture feels nice. I used it mixed in with my moisturiser on my face and then also as a lip balm. Whilst it glides on quiet smooth and feels nice, I didn’t feel it was anything spectacular. I didn’t find it to be anymore moisturising and found it quiet sticky to be honest, despite being mixed in with my moisturiser. I also didn’t find it to be any more hydrating than other products I have used. Even when used on its own, I didn’t feel it offered anything dramatic and found it more sticky on its own. As a lip moisturiser I found it just sat on my lips and did get rid of stubborn rough patches, but for the most part my lips did feel softer everywhere else. Overall it’s a good product but not something I’m running to the store for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm Is great for Dry skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm is good for dry rough skin! CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm‘s Texture is a bit like petroleum jelly so not the best when on your face but it’s good! I will continue to use CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm to keep my skin moisturised throughout winter! I also used CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm on my elbows and drier parts of my body which has helped. I will recommend CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm to others who suffer from dry skin and or rough patches. CeraVe Advanced Repair Balm

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydrating but sticky! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for this one to arrive especially as it gets cooler and my skinds get dryer. It didnt disappoint in terms of hydration, its a super thick consistency which i thought would be weird to put on until i figured out the knack of it - get it nice and warm in your hands and they it goes on quite smoothly! After that i found the application process really easy and my skin felts super hydrated afterwards. I found i wasnt needing to use it daily! One thing i didnt rate was how long it took to dry or absorb, i get that sometimes super hydrating things can do that but i felt like i couldnt touch things for a really long time without a residue being left, if i wouched my clothes i would end up with fibres all over my hands. I tried to use it when i knew i could just sit for a while after and relax. I'd buy it again but it would not be a part of my daily routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very conflicted right now! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a strange one for me. I mainly used it on my sandpaper elbows. For the first few uses, it felt like rubbing Vaseline over dry areas - like putting a barrier over the dry area without actually moisturising. The smell is also really weird - like new car smell? Not sure if it was just me? And it left a slightly sticky feeling. Two weeks in....I thought it wasn't doing anything so I switched back to my normal cream. BUT my normal cream didn't soften my elbows! I kept touching my elbows and it didn't feel right. It turns out that the Repair Balm was actually working but I was too dumb to notice. I switched back to the Repair Balm and I can feel the difference...! I am so conflicted right now. The repair balm is excellent for really dry areas but the smell is a little weird. I wish it had a prettier smell (but that goes against the CeraVe brand). I removed one star for smell and stickiness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool weather must-have [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Winter is coming...although the skin on my hands and lips seems to believe its already here. Every year as the cold weather approaches, I stock up on various hand creams and lip balms to get on top of the inevitable dry, flaky skin before the peak of the cold weather. From memory I've not tried any CeraVe products before so was excited to give the Advanced Repair Balm a go. I found it interesting that it promotes itself as being suitable for face, body AND lips. I'd generally buy separate products for each so this seemed like a one-stop shop which is appealing. I've now been using this daily for a few weeks on my lips as well as on my hands and feet before bed. I do have to say after wearing sandals for most of the summer my heels were really dry and rough so I didn't expect it to work that well there, but I was pleasantly surprised. At face value the consistency is a bit like Vaseline but it absorbed a lot better and had a very faint fragrance. The tube is small but a little goes a long way so it definitely lasts a while even with daily use. This will definitely become a staple for the cooler months that I can carry around in my bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for winter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to use this product and it did not disappoint. After a couple of weeks of use, it helped elevate my dry cracked heels and dry spots of my body. It is a similar texture to Vaseline, so quick thick texture and I found it stayed on all night. I lathered on my feet and put socks on, and by morning could already notice a substantial difference. It states you can put on your face, but I did not try as it felt too thick, however, could be great for extra dry spots that do come on your face during winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Scent free barrier cream [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had assumed this would be a moisturising cream, but it's more of an occlusive moisturiser in that it forms a seal over the skin (like Vaseline) with additional humectants. Absolutely no go for anywhere on my face (sensitive, rosacea, perimenopausal, acneic), but was good very lightly applied to lips & worked well on my feet (which are suffering post Qld summer!) to soften & seal in moisture after showering. The lack of scent is great - not only does it have no added fragrances, but it has no scent at all. The small tube size can be good or bad - portable, but will likely run out quickly if being used on hands, feet & anywhere else. Pros - great barrier cream, ZERO scent, non-oily, additional humectants Cons - petroleum based Summary - Vaseline texture with added ingredients to boost moisture while remaining scent free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made my lips look so hydrated! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a surprisingly good product! So many pros, including no smell and great for sensitive skin. Iv been using for cracked lips and heels and my kids love using it too. My fave thing is using it as a gloss over my Matt lipstick to give me that hydrated look. I also love that it has hyaluronic acid in it which is great for the skin! It’s definitely not your ordinary petroleum product and makes as a great item to have on hand during the winter months! I would definitely recommend to have as an all rounder product that can be used by the whole family.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Basically Vaseline. Good for dry skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The balm isn't suitable for oily or combination skin people for their face. I did use it instead on my dark and rough elbows. They turned out to be quite smooth and less wrinkly. The texture of the balm is basically like vaseline, probably due to the petroleum contained in it. I would probably only buy this if you like the texture of vaseline and only use it on extremely dry patches of skin. It would be something useful to have at home, like vaseline, for any random dry patches of skin sometimes - although I would personally not need as much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Definetely works, but the texture isn’t nice [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The results are undeniable, the balm gives immediate relief to dry skin. I used this mainly on my lips at night and found them to be hydrated by the morning. The balm feels like it would take all night just to sink in. Stars were taken off this review as the balm is very thick and Vaseline like texture which makes this unsuitable for use apart from bedtime. I couldn’t use this on my skin for fear of clogging my pores. I also would be reluctant because I found the texture to be unpleasant. That may just be me as I prefer lighter products that sink in quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but very sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of the Cerave moisturising cream so I was excited to try this. My first impression was this packaging looks like a men’s product. I wouldn’t be drawn to it in store. The packaging doesn’t look unisex or appealing to me in any way. The texture of this balm is very thick and quite sticky. I wouldn’t use this on my face or as a hand cream during the day or under makeup as it does leave a tacky oily residue for quite a while. However it is quite nourishing and did calm down my dry, itchy skin and worked well as a cuticle balm so it will be remaining part of my night routine. I also tried it on my toddlers eczema and he did stop itching at it so I will continue to use it on him until this tube is finished but I don’t think I would repurchase it. There are other products I prefer that do the same minus the sticky texture.
