Directions

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better for PM use for oilier skin types [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying the cream both in the AM and PM, for my oily blemish prone skin type, it worked better as a night cream as it was tad too slippy during the day layered under sunscreen. In the PM, the cream layered well over the CG serum and hydrating serums. When used consistently together, helped to moderately brighten my skin tone. The cream itself is a smooth texture, and is sustainable through the refillable jar. I would have preferred a tube, as I didn't love the open jar design and using my hands to dig into the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Avene Vitamin C Radiant Intensive Cream [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trailing this product with the Avène vitamin c serum also I have added these both into my skincare routine 2 times a week to start and get my skin introduced to the product! So far it’s been good still early days to tell as it’s only been 2 nearly 3 weeks I will continue to use and trail throughout. So far I’m enjoying this product it has key ingredients to help brighten the overall skin complexion also helping with wrinkles and fine lines! It’s also a bonus that it is formulated for sensitive skin which is always a bonus! It’s hydrating and it gives you a glowy complexion. I look forward to continue using the product. The texture of the cream is easy to use not sticky and easy to add into your skincare routine!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cream texture is very bouncy, jelly like, not like your standard moisturisers which makes me more intrigued to use it. I loved this in conjunction with the serum, it’s just an added layer/lock in of all the benefits and gives the ultimate hydrating and supple look to the skin. It didn’t dry my skin out over the day, especially in the recent weather change, but I don’t notice a lot of change in my skin’s texture or improvement in acne scars and wrinkles. Again, this could be because I don’t have a before and after to refer back to, but I do like the feel and benefits from this product, and will continue using it. Also the packaging feels very lux but bulky too because the actual amount of cream is much less than the whole jar size

This moisturiser is quite rich and doesn't blend or sink into the skin easily. Your skin does feel very moisturised afterwards but for my oily skin I have other moisturisers that achieve this without feeling heavy. It has nice smell. I didn't notice any brightening in my skin but this may be because I have used hydroquinone before which is a stronger ingredient than vitamin C. This didn't irritate my skin which is good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unfortunately my skin hates [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to trial the Eau Thermale Avene Vitamin Activ CG Radiance Intensive Cream. The jar is nice and heavy which makes it feel super luxe. I also love that the jar Is refillable but pretty disappointed in the amount that you get for the price you pay. The cream is a soft orange colour without an overpowering smell. Unfortunately my skin broke out in tiny whitehead pimples after the first use which I am putting down to the niacinamide which my skin tends to hate. I persevered a few days later just to be sure but unfortunately it was the same reaction the next day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Best for normal/dry skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this cream quite difficult in application and incorporating into my routine. When you put it on top of your serums it doesn't seamlessly blend in, but rather sits atop your skincare with a white cast that takes a little while to sink in/go away. I mainly used it at night time because I didn't find it sat well under my make up or SPF, and would say it's better suited to normal/dry skin rather than combination/oily like myself. As for the brightening results of the actives, I would say a two week trial isn't enough time to see results. I personally didn't see any, but it's most likely due to requiring a longer trial time and that the actives are usually quite weak in moisturizers. Overall if you want to simplify your routine and not use serums and toners, this is a great moisturizer to go for to cover your moisturizing step with the incorporation of actives in the one skincare item.

It has that awesome avene non scented scent ( if you know what I mean.) Unfortunately however it made my break out and i am unsure if that's just my skin or what, but i gave it to my mum and she had amazing things to say about it. she says it meets most of the claims leaving her skin smooth and glowy, and now that she's used it for 2 ish weeks has made it more elastic and plump. so overall it is an amazing product and it just sucks that it didn't work for me personally. but i would recommend it to others.

I tried slightly incorporating this product into my skin to try it out. It feels very luxurious and I like the texture of the cream and how it feels on my skin. I did feel more moisturised after using it but I feel that it needs to be used consistently for stronger results. I would recommend this product to someone who needs a boost in hydration in their skin and is looking to maximise the products in their current skincare routine.

I received Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ CG Radiance Intensive Cream to try! I have been using the product for a few weeks and it has been quite nice. The product has been leaving my skin, feeling moisturised and smooth. It has some fragrance to the product, but it is not overbearing. The moisturiser is quite thick in texture which can be a little bit hard sometimes to spread evenly over the skin. The packaging is glass and feels very sturdy. I will continue to use the product until it’s finished to form a better opinion on the product and then possibly re-purchase if it continues to work well in my skincare routine

Since the container is refillable the seal was a bit hard to take off at first but after that the cream was easy to apply. Personally I felt that the cream was a bit too sticky for my liking, but it does dry relatively quickly. After application the skin feels soft, and after a few weeks of application my skin complexion does seem brighter. The fragrance of the cream wasn’t too strong, with a smell that vaguely reminds me of cologne. I like how the cream contains Vit. C, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid too. Overall not too bad of a product, would’ve liked it more if the cream was a little more lighter and less sticky.

It didn’t do a major job in hydrating the skin just gave a layer on top. Saw no difference in radiance so far so maybe needs to be used for a long period of time but I wouldn’t think it makes much of a difference since it’s quite thick. My skin is sensitive but it didn’t irritate it even though it is slightly fragranced. I wouldn’t recommend this to oily skin but may be absorbed well for someone with dry skin instead.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ CG Radiance Intensive Cream. First and foremost, I was impressed by the luxurious feel of the cream. The texture is light yet deeply moisturizing, making it suitable for both day and night use. However, the cream is hard to blend into your skin and does take a few extra rubs to really absorb but if you use too much friction it starts peeling off and leaves residues behind which a little disappointing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ CG Radiance Intensive Cream mainly because of how hard it is to blend into your skin because I believe skin care products should glide and absorb right into your skin. Who wants residues on their face after going through all the steps of their night time skin care routine.

First of all, the packaging: the big glass jar houses a plastic tub of what looks like mayonnaise inside. It looks a bit ridiculous especially considering this price point. The smell of the cream is similar to the serum. I didn't use it for more than twice because it broke me out a bit - got small whiteheads every time I used it. I would not recommend it, and I wouldn't really use it again on my face. Maybe on my body? We'll see.
