Rated 4 out of 5 by from Avene Vit C [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trailing the Avene Vitamin C serum for around 2 weeks I have incorporated it into my skincare 2 times a week to trail. So far it’s been feeling good it’s great for sensitive skin. I cannot wait to see more results to along the way! To help with dark spots and wrinkles! I like how this product has antioxidant and detoxifying properties, which help reduce the number of free radicals on the skin that are produced by UV rays and pollution. With added niacinamide for the hydration too is good. So far I’m enjoying it and I will be continuing to use it in my skincare routine!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Glowy and pro skincare serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the formula, gives me cosmeceutical and professional grade skincare vibe. Vitamin c has never worked well on my skin, and I have dull acne prone skin so I definitely need it. The serum was quite sticky, but I did like it in conjunction with the cream. It gives off a radiant bright look to the skin, a glowy under the sun look, and I can only imagine that the ingredients are good and nourishing for the skin as well. Unfortunately I didn’t see much reduction in my acne scars and fine lines but that may be because I don’t have a before and after photo to refer to. Overall, I’ll keep using the product, because I haven’t had an adverse reaction from it so far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the texture of this serum, it's lightweight but not runny. The only issue I have is that it feels sticky once applied. I tried using this with the matching moisturiser and immediately wanted to wash my face. If you have oily skin I wouldn't use a moisturiser over this as it might feel like too much. I didn't notice any change in my skin with this so I don't think the vitamin C is very potent, but this may also be because I have used hydroquinone in the past which is much stronger. It didn't irritate my skin which is a bonus. Scent was also not an issue for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brightening but quite sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a fan of this product as it was very brightening for my skin, with a nice scent and felt lightweight however I wasn’t a fan of the sticky feeling that it left on my skin. I also followed the directions of which order to apply products and it caused pilling of the products on my face. I also used this with the radiance intensive cream which were a great combination together but unsure if they created a nice base together for my makeup as part of my skincare routine. I’m unsure if I would purchase this product again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating and great for those new to actives [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only been using it for two weeks, so I can't say I've seen any dramatic results, but any active usually requires a lot more time and consistency. Overall I can't say I saw a potent brightening effect, like I've seen with other vitamin C serums. It's a very hydrating milky texture that is probably better suited to normal/dry skin rather than combination/oily. It leaves your skin with a sheen afterwards and a bit tacky, which can be nice for make up application afterwards. If incorporating into your routine, this would be the main step/ingredient, as it's a bit too heavy to layer with other serums. I like that it incorporates vitamin C, B and retinol so that you don't have to use individual serums of all three, so definitely is a good time saver for your morning routine and reduces your skin care steps! Though with any product that incorporates multiple actives, it's unlikely to be potent in any of them, so is a good beginner serum :)

It has that awesome avene non scented scent ( if you know what I mean.) Unfortunately however much like the cream it made my break out and i am unsure if that's just my skin or what, but i gave it to my mum and she also loved this too. she says it meets the claims just like the cc cream. like; leaving her skin smooth and glowy, and now that she's used it for 2 ish weeks has made it more elastic and plump. so overall it is an amazing product and it just sucks that it didn't work for me personally. but i would recommend it to others.

I can't really speak much about the brightening / wrinkle reducing effect because I've only used this for a few weeks, but I can say it feels quite hydrating, and my skin seems to like it. It's got all the good ingredients - vitamin C, 3% niacinamide and 1.5% bakuchiol. I use it with face roller, and my skin does look... tighter(?) and more radiant. It smells a bit strong, but I personally don't mind it. I tried this as part of the review crew, but with that price point, I don't think I'll go out of my way to buy it. There are alternatives on the market that are like half the price!
