I've been using this daily within my usual skin care routine and have found the results to be noticeable. After several weeks I could see the difference. It left my skin and pores feeling hydrated, softer and smoother. While the bottle is only 30mls, I only needed 1-2 drops for full face, neck and decollage coverage. The fact it's not scented was also a bonus for me, as this meant it didn't clash with any perfume I chose to wear on the day. The serum absorbed quickly into the skin and didn't leave a greasy after feel or shine. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to add some luxury into their daily skin care routine.

I love the dropper (more hygienic) - just a few drops on each side of my face will go a long way. The serum is very light so it can be used during warm days without feeling heavy which makes this serum ideal for both day and night (ie if serum is too thick or oil based, I would only use at night and not when it's 100 degrees!). The serum glides on and is absorbs really well into the skin with no sticky, slimy and oily residue after. In terms of improvements on my skin, I haven't noticed much but my skin is hydrated which gets the thumbs up from me. I do think I would have to at least finish the bottle before I see obvious improvements to my pores, wrinkles and skin texture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't surprise me in the least that I have absolutely loved using this - I find the entire Hydroboost range to be filled with products that are worth picking up! This promises to help exfoliate and brighten dull skin, while also hydrating it. This comes in an opaque white bottle with a dropper applicator, allowing the user to titrate the amount of product that you would like to apply to the skin. I love that this doesn't have a scent to it, and that it has a runny consistency, so that this is easily absorbed by the skin. I find that after I've used this twice daily for the last few weeks, my skin has felt softer, with a better tone, and that it's just that little bit plumper. This definitely feels like a great product to accompany the Hydroboost moisturiser, and I'd definitely be finishing the serum!

First impression of the packaging is love it. Was excited about the dropper but I found it sometimes didn’t draw up product and I would have to go in a second or third time. That was annoying but not a deal breaker. Maybe I had a faulty dropper. The serum itself is a thick clear fluid. Not tacky and it glides on the skin smoothly and instantly feels hydrating and refreshing especially first thing in the morning. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and sometimes only once per day and I can definetly say there has been an improvement in my skin tone and texture. My skin appears brighter, more even and I look so much more refreshed. This has been the only thing I have changed in my routine recently and if I had been even stricter with it, I’m confident I would have see even better results. A great serum that I would definetly consider repurchasing and incorporating into my skincare routine.

It's light weight without the tacky film that some serums leave behind. It also gives your skin a subtle glow without it looking oily. Whilst the packaging is clean and simple, it doesn't give you any indication how much you've used or what is left. The weight of the packaging is already heavy so that was also not an indication of how full it is. Whilst using this product daily over three weeks, I haven't seen a major indication that it's clearing my skin. However, I did move climates and usually my skin would worse but whilst using this product it has stayed consistent. I've rated this 4 stars because whilst this is a nice serum, there are better. Try it out if you're a beginner and see if it's for you.

It has a really nice texture- not too thick and not too runny- and a hygienic dropper applicator which I always appreciate. The serum itself spreads nicely on the skin and is easily absorbed in no time. Instantly your skin feels smooth, plump and hydrated. I had been using a far more expensive niacinamide product before this serum and I found the results to be comparable which is exciting because this serum has a very good value price point. In the several weeks that I’ve used this serum my skin tone has looked even, glowy and has a smooth texture. I also really appreciate that this product works well with my other moisturisers and treatments without causing any pilling, including when worn under makeup. Overall this is a fantastic and effective serum that I would happily repurchase and also recommend to friends.

I used this product morning and night (skipping some mornings where I would be spending extensive time in the sun that day) and I did feel a noticeable shift in the overall condition of my skin. It definitely felt more hydrated (and I could notice a difference in how well my foundation sat on my face). A recommendation though is to avoid using BHA exfoliants, especially if you are on the sensitive side and to ALWAYS wear sunscreen (and re-apply). I can find this formula can be a bit sticky so don't pump too much out and if there's a slight residue or shine present just follow up with a powder.

I usually have large pores, especially on my nose, and they have become less noticable. I'm sure the longer I use this product, the better this will get. I have also noticed it has smoothed my skin, in certain places where I had dry patches, or on my chin where acne pops up. It has also reduced some hyperpigmentation. It feels nice to use, I only need two drops, and that covers my face and neck. It has a slight texture to it, rather than just feeling like water or an oil. I feel like this helps it to absorb better, because you only need light pressure, and don't need to work it in. It creates a great base, for moisturiser or foundation, as it is not sticky and doesn't a 'film' on your skin. It also dries matte, so leaves your skin looking hydrated, rather than shiny. I feel this helped my skin stay hydrated, because my moisturiser felt like it also absorbed in better, rather just sitting on my skin. By the end of the day I still looked like I had just washed and moisturised my face, rather than looking super oily and dull.

My skin feels very hydrated thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid which also has plumped my skin. I use this serum morning and night followed by moisturiser and sunscreen in the morning and a hydrating moisturiser at night. This serum has a nice texture which is not too thin and not too thick; it glides on my skin perfectly and is well absorbed before applying moisturiser over the top. I have had so many people comment on the texture of my skin and how good its’s looking. I would definitely purchase this product again.

I've been using this product for a couple of weeks, and so far, I really like it. It's got a beautiful texture - it glides onto the skin smoothly and leaves a lovely silkly finish. It almost feels like a primer! It is very easily (and quickly) absorbed and doesn't leave any oily or sticky residue on the skin, which I think differentiates this product because a lot of similar products can add to sticky/sweatiness in the heat. It is also completely fragrance-free and is very gentle on the skin (no irritability to my skin at all). My skin definitely has felt smoother since I started using it, and I feel like my complexion is starting to look brighter, too. I also feel like my skin is slightly more supple/firm. A little goes a long way with this product, so you get a bang for your buck, as this would last a long time. I only use a small (pea-sized) drop, and that's enough to cover my face and neck. I'm definitely going to keep using this product because if I've already seen some small results in two weeks, I bet even better results are yet to come. Overall, would recommend this product both for it's price point and also for the results.

For the price, this niacinamide serum is excellent, it has a nice enough texture to it and feels hydrating but sometimes can leave a slight residue on the skin momentarily until it sinks in. My advice is to make sure your skin is cleansed properly before use. If you are looking for an everyday serum this is the right product for you, at a fair price and a generous amount it will be suitable for your skin barrier needs.

I often find applying serum doesn’t do much for my skin. So I was very surprised with this one. It was easy to absorb into the skin, super hydrating and made my skin feel smoother almost instantly. I did feel I needed to use more than what the dropper dispensed but otherwise worked in well with my current skin care regime. I have only used the product for a short period of time, so will be interesting to see any effects in the long term. Would be interesting to compare the results to the higher end serums - so would be happy to swap over if the results pan out. For the price point, this serum offers great results for my skin.

The packaging is of a high quality and the dropper works well, The bottle is good quality and i like the minimalist approach to the package design. It's easy to load the daily dose without using too much product. It's a good consistency and doesn't run away from you on your hand. upon applying the product it is cool and gives pleasant relief in a hot Australian summer. The product feels good on the skin and absorbed easily into the skin without leaving excess moisture. It gives the skin a smooth feel and helps with hydration. I could notice an overall improvement in the qualify of my skin after a couple of weeks. I like the lack of scent and simplicity of the product. would use again

It’s very cooling on the face and it did make a difference as I noticed my pores were smaller and my skin was feeling smoother. It’s also nicely packaged and easy to use. i would recommend using it twice a day, in the morning and at night to see the best results. If you are a fan of niacinamide then this is a great product for you. Neutrogena is a great brand and it is very trust worthy which made me feel comfortable trying out their product. it’s safe to say that i will be repurchasing as i was happy with the results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by May M. from Smooth, healthy skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Neutrogena Hydro Boost niacinamide serum is a two in one product as it focuses on minimising pores, improving skin texture and clearing the skin with niacinamide while also simultaneously focusing on hydration. The serum comes in a bottle with a dropper so you can control how much of the product you want to use. The serum was slightly thicker than what I was expecting, it had more of a milky texture. It was still easy to apply on my face and neck and I found that it didn't take too long for the product to absorb. I would use this both morning and night so I could assess how the product worked. What I really liked about this serum is that it was gentle. The niacinamide helped with evening my skin tone and minimising the appearance of my pores. As someone with oily and acne prone skin, it's a good ingredient to use. It's a serum that you can use everyday and will continue to improve your skin the longer you use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was already a fan and user of the Neutrogena Water Gel moisturiser, so when coupled with this serum, the two worked perfectly together. The instructions on the side of the box made it easy to know how to use the product. Only a small amount goes a very long way and blends perfectly into the skin. My face after a week felt soft and refreshed. It looked visibly nearer and softer. With not only myself noticing, but others also noticing too. I will continue using this product and will definitely be recommending this to others. My daughter has already changed her skin care routine to include this product, so winner winner super serum dinner!

I have always heard that Neutrogena's Hydro Boost range is amazing and I was not disappointed. I have tried quite a few Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid serums and found that they have all stung, i am unsure if its due to being fragrance-free but it felt extremely nice on my skin. It also wasnt sticky as some are. At first i was concerned with the drops being very small but you do not need to use more than one drop. A little goes a long way with the product. The product left my skin feeling not only smooth but looking extremely brightened and fresh. I experience dull and uneven skin but i found the product helped.

The sebaceous filaments around my nose and cheek area were quite prominent, something that I was conscious about, but the serum seems to have cleared the skin and smoothed the area, so my skin texture improved quite a bit. The serum is a little more thicker than I expected at first though, with a gel-like consistency that doesn’t absorb or dry immediately. For those who are used to more lighter serums this one might be hard to get used to at first. The product was easy to apply - due to the thickness of the serum you don’t need to use a lot to cover both your face and neck. The serum works well with moisturiser applied after. There wasn’t much of a scent too, something that I like about the serum. Overall nice product, I will probably purchase it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Angeline J. from Long term use to see results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hyularonic acid and niacinamide is something I haven't really used in combination (in one product) before, and having these two ingredients combined in one serum is such a time saver! As someone with oily skin I definitely felt that when first applied it left my skin feeling a bit sticky and took time to absorb in, but once the product had absorbed it was very lightweight and didn't feel like i had much product on my skin. One drawback I did note was that it did take longer to notice results both in terms of hydration and reducing skin unevenness compared to other products I have used previously that contained the ingredients separately, however it was quite fast-acting to reduce pore size and is a better price point.

Compared to other niacinamide serums I thought it was pretty on par, it had a nice texture and no smell which I appreciate it being fragrance free. I did find the dropper of the bottle to not be great. It didn't seem to get enough in the dropper for one dose so had to try multiple times to get the right amount which I hadn't experienced with other dropper style bottles before. My skin didn't have any reactions but I wouldnt say that I saw a dramatic increase in skin texture. It would be a good addition into my routine at night when I use a retinol to alternate night to night when my retinol can irritate and dry the skin.

While I found it absorbed nicely into the skin, I felt it was a bit too early to notice any substantial difference. I did not notice any change in the appearance of my pores, nor did I see any improvement in my complexion. That being said, it did provide hydration throughout the day, and mixes easily with my moisturiser. I like the fact that it’s unscented, and did not cause any sensitivity or allergy. Reasonable price point, so I’d probably consider it as an everyday serum. What I also like is that the formula doesn’t seem to cram in unnecessary ingredients or go overboard with “actives”.
