Directions

For best results, wait until makeup is dry to start spraying. Shake well before use. Keep eyes & mouth closed during application. Hold 8 to 12 inches /20 to 30cm away from face and spray in a quick circular motion for even distribution on skin.

My makeup doesn’t crease or transfer even after a full day. It does feel and smell very similar to hairspray so spraying it on is quite unpleasant but it does the trick.

I’m very impressed with the L'Oréal Paris Setting Spray Mist, it’s just as good as some “expensive” setting sprays I have used in the past, at this price point you are really getting bang for your buck!! Packaging is also lightweight/slim so it’s easy to travel with! It does have a slight fragrance that I couldn’t figure out if I liked it or not hence the 4 stars but would recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strong hold [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I did not like this mist spray if you’re just a little bit too close to your skin than recommended it feels like you sprayed your spray with a sticky hair spray that doesn’t come off at all and looks really shiny. When applied correctly you don’t feel the setting mist at all and the make up stays good all day/all night long. Easy to remove with waterproof make up remover. Good smell, easy to apply just follow direction of use.

Despite this, the spray didn't make my look matte but slightly glossy/dewy as it looked before spraying. The mist could be a little gentler and a less chemical-smelling spray would be nice.

Lasted all night until the next morning. The next time I used it was with a more softer makeup look with only some colour corrector and bronzer and it felt a little hairspray-ish. The spray nozzle was easy to use, but it released the product quite fast, more like a strong hairspray blast than a light mist. Unfortunately, I didn’t love the experience—both the smell and the sticky feeling it left on my skin reminded me of using actual hairspray. As for performance, I didn’t notice any improvement in the wearability of my makeup. It didn’t make it last any longer, but it didn’t seem to make it fade faster either. I also found the strong scent lingered a bit longer than I would’ve liked. Overall, this setting spray didn’t work for me, especially considering the sticky residue and strong smell. If you prefer a lightweight mist with minimal scent, this might not be the best option.

The packaging seemed appealing, it's a cute size to fit straight into your handbag. The spray/nozzle works well to deliver an even mist. Unfortunately, that's where the good points stop. This product does not set make-up first and foremost. It did not lock in products, if anything I felt like my make-up separated more than usual. It initially feels like it should set your makeup because when first sprayed it feels a little tacky and tight on the skin, but it just ultimately doesn't. I tried this product over several days, changing up my bases every other day, all being bases that I would usually have no issues with on their own. Still, with this sprayed over the top I noticed that the bases would start getting gritty and piling or separating after a couple hours of wear, as if I had dead skin shedding off my skin. Not great for a 'setting' mist. I would never buy this mist again following this experience. I don't really even want to use it up.

I didn’t actually really like this like this product because it felt like hair spray and also didn’t really small to good I did check and I tested it like I checked it. I sprayed it on and I tried so see if it was transparent and it didn’t seem to work. So basically, I let it set and it still took some of my makeup if so l tried it for the 2nd time because mabey l didn’t put enough on but it still took my makeup of and l did do my makeup again and did a small bit to see if l was putting to much on but that didn’t seem to work either. L did add a bit more after doing the small amount and it was ok at keeping my makeup on but wasn’t good it was probably like a 44 out of 100 overall it wasn’t transparent or anything so I wouldn’t recommend this product but I did like the size of it was pretty good like these size and I do like the brown lawyer. Firstly, the smell is terrible! I am convinced it is actually hair spray as it smells exactly like it and the smell lasts forever. Interestingly it did a better job holding my hair than keeping my makeup on. Secondly, it left my face feeling awfully sticky and left a film on my face. It feels like it is going to break me out. Thirdly, It actually pills my makeup and doesn't set it. Don't bother, if you already have it just use it as hairspray.
