I applied it underneath my foundation for a nice glowy look. I was a little scared as I looked a little orange but once I applied my foundation and concealer it all came together. I had colour Medium Bronze which will be perfect for when I’m tanned. Overall it’s a nice smooth primer.

The product felt very light weight, didn’t clog my pores and didn’t break me out. It was a great base underneath my foundation and left a lovely glow which lasted all day. I also tried it on its own to add a lovely natural highlight to the high points on my face, leaving them looking glowy from the light reflecting pigments. The glass bottle feels luxurious and the doe-foot applicator is nice, you can control how much you want coming out and is easy to push back in the bottle. I really love the skincare ingredients such as Vitamin C and Peptides. Overall, really in love with this product and feel it will be a staple in my daily make up routine from now on.

And honestly? Rimmel has really stepped up in their makeup game in the last year. It’s still so affordable in comparison to the major pharmacy drugstore brands. This primer is similar to the CT flawless filter however even lesser coverage. It’s ideal to mix this in with your foundation especially if you have a matte finish foundation and looking for a bit more satin finish on other days. This is not meant to be used as a foundation as there is very sheer glowy coverage but it’s a great add on to your routine. In addition, it’s cruelty free and vegan and worth a try!
