General Information

Our Blueberry, Banana & Pear Yoghurt Brekkie is a yummy breakfast blend of nourishing fruits, oats and yoghurt. The smooth texture of this baby food pouch is easy for babies to swallow, making it a perfect first meal of the day or a delicious snack. NO preservatives NO artificial colours NO artificial flavours NO added sugar or salt NO added concentrates NO GM ingredients

Warnings

An adult should always check the temperature before serving to baby! Do not microwave in pouch. Once opened, store in the fridge and enjoy within 48 hours. Warning choking hazard: Keep cap out of reach of infants under the age of 3 years.

Common Uses

AGE GROUPS: This smooth food is suitable for babies from 6 months and upwards.

Ingredients

Water, Pear (24%) (Pear, Ascorbic Acid), Banana (21%) (Banana, Ascorbic Acid), Whole Milk (10%), Blueberry (7%), Oats (4%), Yoghurt Powder (Milk) (3%), Corn Starch, Chia Flour. Contains: Oats, Milk May Contain: Wheat, Rye, Barley, Spelt

Directions

Yummy cold or warm! To serve warm, open and stand the pack in a jug of hot water. Simply shake; then squeeze into a bowl or straight onto a spoon.

I would not normally buy this flavour- perhaps go something a bit ‘healthier’ However my baby absolutely loved it (no surprise with the flavour). I would not personally buy this again, but would recommend it to those who like this type of food. My baby would like it again

We love Rafferty’s Garden and my toddler loves the pouches in particular. We only buy the veggie pouches so this strawberry and vanilla custard was a special treat for him. I had a try as well and its super tasty. He didnt finish the full pouch unlike other flavours but taste is very individual. Super convenient and a nice treat for bubs that isn’t unhealthy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A bit thick but tasty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great sugar free/fridge free alternative to yogurt pouches (it has apple juice as sweetener). My toddler usually has a yogurt pouch when we are out and about, but it's too hot at the moment to safely carry yogurt for hours. This custard is both handy and tasty. However, it took a bit for my son to adjust the thickness. It would be no problem eating from a bowl though.

Easy and convenient pack that can be taken for on the go. I had a taste and it is pleasant, not too sweet or artificial tasting. The size is pretty good however too large for babies just starting solids.

My toddler took 2 sucks and told me that she didn’t like it. I wish she did! These would be really convenient when packing snacks and lunchboxes. Definitely a product to buy one of and try with your little person.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We usually only use pouches for on the go as they are very convenient to take with you and there is very little mess if any when my little one eats it. My son was a little unsure at first when he tried this one but after he got used it he ate the entire pouch rather quickly and seemed to have enjoyed it. I gave it a little taste also and found it creamy but tart, not too thick, but a nice consistency, you can tell it’s strawberry flavour. It’s not pink like the picture indicates but that doesn’t bother me or my son. The pouch is appealing, my 5 year old daughter even wanted to try it just because of the colour. Is this something I would purchase again? Yes if I was on the go, it’s not something I would add to my weekly shop.

Unfortunately my little guy didn’t love the flavour of the Strawberry Vanilla Custard. He loved trying it, however only had a small amount before not wanting any more. I do feel these are so convenient when you are on the go, or even as a quick snack at home

My toddler enjoyed the pouch even though it wasn’t one she had tried before. They’re often on special in the major supermarket chains so great to have on hand as a convenient dessert or treat.

He only had a few mouthfuls before he decided he was done. I however thought it tasted great! I love how convenient these pouches are for on the go. He’s eaten plenty of them in the past but this flavour seemed to miss the mark with him. I like the fact that there is nothing artificial added and they’ll it’s not filled with a tonne of sugar either.

My only question with it is, it stated 6mnths + and it contains milk products. My baby did have a tummy ache on the two days that I gave her the product. She’s 9mnths and hadn’t had milk products yet

Unfortunately he wasn't a fan of the flavour - wouldn't open his mouth after the first 2 bites :/ I wasn't really surprised though as he doesn't seem to like ANY fruit flavoured pouches - I think they're too sour for his liking but I think taste comes down to each child's individual preference. My 4 year old daughter caught sight of the pink packaging and is obsessed with strawberries so wanted to try, but she wasn't a fan either. I do however love this brand and regularly buy their other flavours for bub - in particular the ones with chicken or beef which he can't get enough of!

My daughter loves eating and snacking, she doesn't stop and always finishes every food I give her. She can easily demolish a Raffertys pouch within seconds, but this flavour, not so much. She did not want it after the second taste. I tried offering it to her again a few times after but she was not interested :(

I can taste it was more apple and banana flavours than strawberry. The texture is very smooth and a bit runny, perfect for first solid baby, and a little treat for toddler.

She was desperate to have it and it was gone before I could even look at the ingredients. On reflection, it has a little too many non natural components that I don’t love but it could certainly be worse and would be an easy treat to take on outings. It might become the supermarket trolley treat.

We put it in the fridge about 15 mins before dinner and he had it for dessert in a bowl, but only had a couple of spoonful's. I tried it afterwards, and it tasted fine. It wasn't very cold though, so I wonder if it would be better if it had been in the fridge for longer. We do love the Rafferty's Garden brand of baby food though! They were such a lifesaver when my youngest was a baby and he loved just about every one he had!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fussy toddler didn't love this flavour [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rafferty's Garden Strawberry & Vanilla Custard didn't quite win over my fussy toddler, who usually loves her sweeter chocolate and vanilla pudding style pouches. I do however, really like this brand, they sell a heap of really great healthy options for my littles. But for us, this flavour missed the mark for her. However, I appreciate its natural ingredients and made-in-Australia goodness.
