I’m wary of a lot of conditioner products as I have dyed hair and due to swimming in chlorine pools I get very dry hair and require a lot of conditioner/moisturiser products. This conditioner is so good for my hair, it's nourishing for my hair, makes it look shiny and soft and has a nice scent to it. I've noticed less breakage in the short amount of time I've used it. I love that its also Australian made and owned. I've received this product from A'Kin to review but would repurchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Building strength and shine I have been using this conditioner, along with the accompanying shampoo, and have found my hair is softer, stronger and with increased volume. My hair is falling softer around my face. I am also seeing that the ends of my hair are less brittle. The scent is fresh and authentic, without any tacky-fruit scents. As with the shampoo, it is important to remove the inside seal before trying to squirt any product out, otherwise it is difficult to remove it after it gets pushed into the lid. It applies easily, although I need a teeny bit more conditioner product than I normally do.

My hair gets easily tangled as it is very fine. The conditioner made my hair soft and manageable. I can comb my hair effortlessly, and I've noticed it is more moisturised after applying it. It smells nice, too. It's a combination of lavender, cedarwood, and bergamot. I apply it to my mid-lengths and ends on a towel-dried hair and leave it on for a couple of minutes, then I rinse thoroughly, and I'm ready to enjoy my glossy hair. The bottle's design is attractive; it's easy to open, and it looks elegant and modern. I also like that it is Australian-made and owned and without any nasties. It provides a great nourishing conditioner that won't weight hair down and doesn't leave a residue. I could easily combine through my dry knotty hair after using as my hair was soft and manageable. It combines really well with the A'kin damage repair shampoo. My hair looks and feels stronger and healthier after using a combination of the two products. I also love that it's made from Australian ingredients and is sustainably made from 100% recycled products with no silicone or sulphate. The lavender, cedarwood and bergamot are in both the shampoo and conditioner, so you don't get two clashing fragrances, they work together to leave your hair looking and feeling great. My hair has been through the works. bleached and dyed over and over within the past 4 years so you can bet my hair is dry and very damaged. So when I got the chance to trial a shampoo & conditioner that has a 70 percent reduction in hair breakage I jumped at it. Within the first wash I noticed my hair was a lot softer and smoother, way less frizz than normal. I did notice that my hair would go greasy very quickly. But besides that I was really happy with how my hair came out. My main concern is that the fragrances weren’t labeled in the ingredients section. I’m allergic to anything lavender and I didn’t notice that it was a used ingredient in this shampoo & conditioner until I read the side of the bottle. Unfortunately I had to stop using it for that reason.

This is a great conditioner and the only reason I would not give it 5 stars is because it is wrong for my hair type which is dry and curly. That being said it smells great and does its job, my hair was so soft after using this in conjunction with the shampoo, it just is not right for curly hair. I have used this and the damage repair shampoo several times a week in the last few weeks. I notice that it washes off well, doesn't leave any residue and leaves my hair smoother. Perhaps there is also less breakage than before, but I will give it a bit more time to be sure if it has definitely strengthened my hair in the long run. My hair is usually quite dry however gets greasy on the scalp and is damaged from hair dye. This product has been great, my hair feels moisturised and has more volume, there is quality ingredients and this shampoo smells great.
