General Information

Swisse Blemish Remedy Fast Acting Drying Lotion is a targeted, triple-action anti-acne treatment designed to provide rapid breakout relief and help clear the skin. It is expertly formulated with active levels of sulfur, salicylic acid, and zinc oxide to tackle stubborn acne spots, minimise redness, and prevent new breakouts by gently exfoliating the skin and unclogging pores. Co-developed with a dermatologist, it can be used on the face, chest or back to target even difficult breakouts.

Suitable For: All skin types, including acne prone.

Directions

DO NOT SHAKE PRODUCT.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1. Ensure sediment is fully settled at the bottom of the vial.
Step 2. Dip a cotton bud inside the vial and coat the tip with a small amount of sediment. 
Step 3. Apply directly onto blemishes. Do not rinse. Can be used on face, back and/or chest. Avoid eye and lip area. Can be left on overnight.

I put this product on at night before bed and found it improved the redness and pimple size. I would continue to use this product when experiencing a breakout.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Innovation at it's best [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so keen to try this product as someone who breaks out in painful neck and chin hormonal acne during my menstrual cycle. I have previously used rubbing alcohol to help ease the breakouts but it leaves my skin dried out and stings. Thankfully the packaging is smart and clearly states on the opening flap "Not to shake", because when i opened it i had to resist the urge to give it a little jiggle for the sediment to dissolve. It was rather easy to use with a cotton tip, but a built in applicator would be beneficial. Just dab the tip in the solution all the way to the sediment, then dab onto your blemish. The color match wasnt quite to my skin tone and perhaps a range of custom tones like with foundation could be explored. It dried quickly and created a protective barrier on my skin, and also helped ease the urge to pick at them. I left this on overnight and did find in the morning the redness and swelling had reduced.

Dries out spots and heals quickly! I must admit, a little goes a long way, and don't use too often as it'll start to flake off the surrounding skin.

I have had red blemishes on my face for months and have tried lots of products to reduce the redness. This is the product that has actually worked in reducing the redness and blemishes! It contains Plenty of powerful ingredients and it definitely seems to do the job! I definitely saw a reduction in swelling and inflammation within a couple hours of applying it. I highly recommend this product to anyone with acne prone skin.

I applied the drying lotion directly onto a pimple before going to bed, and by the next morning, it was noticeably smaller and less red. A little bit of product goes a long way, which I love. While the scent is a little strong, and the application is a bit tricky having to use a cotton bud to dip into the lotion at the bottom of the bottle, it didn’t bother me much because the results were good.

I also love that it’s not overly harsh—some drying lotions leave my skin flaky and irritated, but this one feels gentle while still doing the job. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dries out pimples and oily skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It dried out pimples and oily skin and decreases the size of the pimples, however I wasn't a fan of the scent (but it's not overpowering) and the alcohol content in the ingredients. I can't comment on the reducing redness part as most of my pimples aren't super red. The bottle is a great size and would last a very long time. It's quick and easy to use and hygienic by using a new cotton bud each time.

Swisse Blemish Remedy Fast acting dry lotion help my skin maintain a ph. I love how the triple action ant-acne treatment help prevent new breakouts, by using zinc oxide 5% to gently exfoliate the skin and unclog pores. What made it simpler, the sulfur 10% ingredient, further assists to reduce inflammation and pimple size, just by dabbing the pink product and next morning you walk up literally with no pimple or an invisible one.

I love how this product is super easy to use, applying it with a cotton tip also meant I could keep my hands clean afterwards. I have used a similar product in the past but what I liked about this one was when I used it overnight it actually stayed on my face rather than crumbling off or transferring to my pillow so that’s a big win for me. Although the smell isn’t pleasant, it is tolerant as long as you don’t use too much of the product. I noticed after a couple of days of use that my pimples were definitely smaller and dried up. I will continue to use this product as it worked well for me. I like the clear packaging too so I can easily see how much product is left and see where my cotton is collecting the product from. I found the product did not have an unpleasant odour like similar products I have used of this nature. This product dried quickly on my skin and was easy to apply- similar products I have used in the past I found tended to "run" when applied but Swisse Blemish Remedy did not. I found the amount needed was not much as it spread easily over the blemish, so a small bottle will last awhile! I did find a noticeable difference on my blemishes when using this product in a rapid time frame. The only reason I will not give this product 5 stars is I found the sediment settled quickly and I really had to shake the bottle between uses. The product also left stains on my skin until I removed it. I was gifted a sample of this product to trial and review.

I sometimes get small hormonal breakouts around my t-zone and i found that this drying lotion really zaps the puss away. I put this product onto clean dry skin before bed and when i wake up the pimple is pretty much gone! It prevented me from picking my pimples and made the healing process a lot quicker. I just used a a-tip to get the pink product off the bottom and dapped it directly on the pimple. I wouldn’t use this every single night as it get really dry/irritate your skin so definitely only use it as a topical and short term fix.

Every girl’s nightmare is having pimple. There is nothing worse when you plan for a date night with your love one and to discover a pimple, right there on your forehead. Well, luckily I had this lotion to try. I applied only a tiny amount on a cotton pad and placed it on the pimple. I left it overnight and it was gone the next day. It also minise skin redness and prevent new breakout. So Ive been applying it as part of my skincare routine

I used it overnight as the last step to my skincare routine and applied it with a cotton tip. As someone who suffers with cystic hormonal acne I will say that this product is better suited to whiteheads and blackheads as I found that this product didn’t do as well of a job on those painful under the skin pimples, but it still did help to lower the inflammation. You need a cotton tip to get to the bottom of the bottle to get the pink coloured product. It works very fast at drying out pimples but it did sting quite a bit upon application. The one down side is with drying the pimple out your skin in that area becomes quite dry also so make sure you follow up with a good moisturiser. I received this product from SWISSE to review

This blemish remedy from Swisse is easy to use and apply on my skin and I noticed that it was fast reacting and dried out the pimple overnight. Once I put it on my blemishes I barely even noticed it was there and I most definitely couldn't feel it. It is very easy to apply and the instructions on the bottle are super easy to follow. It worked wonders on my pimples (and upcoming pimples) reduced redness and made me feel less conscious about my skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plenty of powerful ingredients and it definitely seems to do the job drying up those big stubborn bumps! I definitely saw a reduction in swelling and inflammation within a couple hours of applying it. The downside of this product is that it's not easy to use. You need to let it settle first, and then dip in a cotton bud to retrieve the product from the bottle. I'd also imagine you shouldn't double dip and contaminate it. This isn't an issue if you keep it on a shelf but does make it difficult if you have it in a bad or are travelling with it. It also has a chalky pink colour, so not ideal to use if you're about to head out. I received this product from SWISSE to review.

Firstly don’t shake the bottle and use an ear bud to get some product at the bottom. I put it on before bed and noticed in the morning the redness was gone. Some large spots I had to apply several times but it was easy to do and then you can just wash any residue off your face. I noticed is dryed out the flare ups. Overall happy with the product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product when applied dries well and actually stays put, I prefer to wear it overnight and it won't flake off and rub all over my sheets. Great fresh smell and it did seem to dry out some of my blemishes, or bring the gunk to the surface and speed up the pimple cycle. I would love it if I didn't need to use a cotton bud each time as this is wasteful, the ideal formula would be application with fingers and as the formula needs to settle, it's not great for travel.
