General Information

Swisse BHA 2% Clear Skin A.M. Balance Serum has been co-developed with a dermatologist to improve skin texture and clarity, and prevent breakouts, thanks to an optimal combination of salicylic and mandelic acid. Hyaluronic acid is also included to provide hydration benefits. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, ongoing use of this serum reveals a smooth and clear complexion. Developed to be part of your morning beauty routine, it is suitable for everyday use and all skin types, including acne prone.

Directions

For optimal results apply a small amount (1 pump) to the
skin every morning after cleansing, avoiding the eyes and

I have used it for the last few days and it sat well under the moisturizer and sunscreen. I have noticed that there's less blockages and pimples outbreak, especially associated with wearing makeup under aircon environment. I have also noticed visible improvement in my skin conditions, and my pores are more refined, and my skin also feels less dry. It's great as a day time serum and i have already recommended to friends with similar skin conditions.

It has a lovely soft fragrance and the consistency is just right—not too watery, which I love. My skin has been glowing more, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in flaky, dead skin. My breakouts, especially on my T-zone and forehead, have been well controlled, with only hormonal breakouts remaining. While the texture of my skin hasn’t changed drastically, I’ve noticed an overall more healthy appearance. Even with my diet not helping the cause haha radiance. Definitely a serum I’ll continue to use and again like other Swiss products I’ve used, really accessible price points.

It absorbed really quickly into the skin but that could be because my skin is usually fairly dry so I never felt like I could just use the serum on its own, I always had to pair it with the Swisse Ceramides B3 Daily Balance Moisturiser to get the feeling that my skin was really hydrated. After 2 weeks use I noticed my complexion appeared less dull and didn’t have any annoying breakouts.

Clear in colour, it is a light gel like consistency with a fresh scent It absorbs well into my skin. After using consistently for a few weeks my skin looks and feels more clear, less congested and my pores and skins texture overall appear more refined. The 0.1% of added Hyaluronic acid I found kept my skin from drying out and instead it is hydrated.

I use this in the morning and love how lightweight it is. Breakouts were controlled and prevented as my skin was hydrated. Definitely a lovely experience with Swisse.

It’s light, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue, which makes it easy to layer with other products. Surprisingly there's no pilling so I was happy with it. It claims to prevent breakouts, and keep acne under control. I already have acne when I first started using the product so I did notice it to calm down faster than usual and overall it was smoother. For the gentle exfoliation, I was worried about my skin feeling irritated or overly dry, but neither of it was a problem when I used this product. There’s a bit of hydration I'm sure as well, enough that my skin didn’t feel tight after applying it. I think this is an effective simple serum that helps with breakouts and refining skin texture.

It left my skin with that glow (not looking oily). It absorbs well and doesn't have a strong smell. However I found if i did not leave it to dry completely (over 30 mins), and applied make up with a sponge, the serum would clump up. However if you let it dry fully, it was totally fine.

Balance Serum for a few weeks now, and l can see the difference! My skin feels so much smoother and looks much clearer. It’s really lightweight and absorbs fast, which is perfect for my busy mornings. I've seen a huge reduction in breakouts, and my skin tone is a lot more even. The BHA does an excellent job clearing out my pores without drying or irritating my skin. My complexion even looks brighter now, which is such a nice bonus. Plus, it stays really well under makeup, only downside is it does pill a little depending on your moisturizer. If you’re dealing with uneven texture or blemishes, I’d totally recommend trying it out!

Balance Serum for 2 weeks I've received many complements from friends and family on my complexion! This fast-absorbing serum leaves my skin with a soft, gentle feel even before moisturising. It has a soft, powdery, pleasant scent which isn't overwhelming. The Hyaluronic Acid 0.1% in this serum makes my skin feel hydrated like never before. By the end of the day my skin was still as soft as it was in the morning. The Mandelic Acid 1% is a lifesaver for acne breakouts - keeping pesky pimples under control and gone within a few days. Definitely a product I can see myself using more in the future.

However after two weeks of use in the morning after giving my face a clean, I felt my face was a lot less dry and I did not get any spots for those two weeks. It almost felt like the serum was exfoliating the skin. My skin also seemed to not be so greasy after using this serum. This was a lovely serum, which was easy to use from the pump bottle, that smelt and felt nice on my face and did not feel too sticky or greasy. I would certainly use this again.

The texture of the product was a welcome surprise, rather than the usual runny oily serums it has more of a gel like texture that is easy to control on my skin. It absorbs into my skin beautifully without leaving a stick residue. After using the product for a couple of weeks my skin is feeling more hydrated and having a more mature age skin it is certainly a lot clearer. If I had to fault anything I found the pump a little clunky, but it didn’t impair my ability to enjoy the product. Would recommend this product.

It has no scent that I could tell, and spreads around nicely on my over 50yr old skin. It absorbed relatively quickly which fits into my skincare routine well. It's light weight and didn't feel heavy. It didn't cause me any breakouts, which I can sometimes get. I don't know that I noticed a lot of difference in my skin texture, maybe it takes a little longer than 2 weeks. I received this product to try and review.

I noticed it had a thicker consistency compared to other serums I’ve used in the past, and it also felt a bit “sticky” upon application (I find that’s a good thing if wearing under makeup!) However, despite that, I found that my skin stayed well-hydrated throughout the day and had a beautiful, “glowy” appearance, which I really liked. I can’t confidently speak on its “acne-controlling” properties, but I didn’t experience any major breakouts while using it. That said, I do think the gentle exfoliant helped reduce scarring and pigmentation from a breakout I had the week before.
