Swisse Retinol 0.1% Clear Skin P.M. Balance Serum improves skin texture, tone, and the appearance of fine lines, while keeping breakouts under control. Designed to be part of your evening beauty routine, this lightweight, fast-absorbing serum combines pure and encapsulated retinol with niacinamide, zinc sulfate, and hyaluronic acid. Continued use reveals a renewed, balanced, and hydrated complexion. Co-developed with a dermatologist and suitable for all skin types, including acne prone.

I have combination/oily skin and this product fitted into my nightly skincare routine very well. I am a long term user of different retinols but this Swisse retinol is the very first retinol I've used that hasn't left my skin feeling tacky, it absorbs really well and quickly and also doesn't leave my skin shiny. It's a bit thinner than a moisturiser but thicker than a serum. Is yellow is colour and has a very pleasant light scent which did not cause any irritation. This is a very lightweight serum. I initially started using this serum 2 times a week and now I use it every night. I have not experience any irritation, redness or flaky skin. Having combination/oily skin I did get breakouts and blocked pores on my nose before. Since using this product I've not had 1 pimple and not pores are less blocked. As the weeks go by I can see more improvements coming. The deep frownline on my forehead doesn't look as deep and makeup doesn't sit inside the line as much as the line has been softened. My skin feels incredibly smooth and soft to touch and also plump. I've also noticed that I don't wake up with the large pores on my nose full of oily and my pores do slightly look tighter. Another positive thing I noticed is that this retinol is very hydrating. Overall I had a very good experience with this product and I will definitely recommend and purchase again.

Firstly, the scent is divine, light but pleasant. The texture of the product is just right and the application process was simple. I applied 3 times a week to start and now use the product nightly. It absorbs into the skin well and has really tightened up my aging skin. Retinol serums can be scary to use at first but my skin took to this product so well. I will definitely repurchase this product in future as it's a highly affordable and easy to use product.

I have added the serum into my nighttime skin routine and found the serum easy to apply. It is quickly absorbed into my skin and doesn’t leave my skin sticky like other products sometimes do. I can already notice a visible difference in my skin…which is amazing!! It has definitely improved the appearance of my skin, I have had no breakouts of pimples and it has helped to reduce the fine lines I have around my eyes. This is a product that I will continue to use long term and looking forward to seeing more improvements in my skin!!

It’s no surprise that their retinol is great too. I found my skin was softer and much more hydrated when waking in the morning after using the retinol in the PM. Overall, skin feels plumper and fine lines less noticeable. I’d definitely recommend and hope that they extend the range to stronger doses of retinol so that people can upgrade when ready.

The texture is very silky and 1 pump is the perfect amount for your face and neck. I also quite enjoyed the fresh scent that was not over powering at all. I can definitely tell a difference in the smoothness of my skin and the hydration. I feel I maybe need more time to see the anti-aging effects of this product, but I would compare it to higher end products I have used in the past. BUT I followed the instructions carefully, only used one pump of product, and gradually brought it into my evening routine - at first only a few times a week and then more regularly. I experienced no reactions and only saw the positive impacts of using the product. It was very easy to incorporate into my current routine and to layer with other products, for starters, and it's quickly absorbed which I like. My skin also felt and looked smoother, clearer, and more hydrated and supple after using this product, and I also noticed that the texture and tone of the skin on my face was smoother and more even and the couple of aging-related dark spots I have have reduced a little bit. The product is really easy to use, and smells and feels great! I am excited to see further results as I have only been using this for a few weeks so far, and I am loving the results so far!

I could see the brand name and what the product was very clearly on the label. I was very impressed that this formula was based on scientific evidence. It would work very well. I really loved the pump. I am a big fan of pumps as they are so easy to use. It was so easy to pump the product out of the bottle. The serum was a lovely yellow colour and it had a really nice scent to it. It absorbed into my skin really well and very fast and didn't leave any residue. What I really liked as well it wasn't a heavy serum, it was so lightweight. After using the product I noticed that it improved my skin texture, tone and fine wrinkles. I have ageing skin and my skin is lacking texture, tone and has wrinkles. It worked well, I would continue using the product. I noticed instant results the morning of my first use. I use one pump before bed under my night cream and woke up with plump, clear, super soft skin. Ive noticed a huge improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. This has shown better results than some expensive retinols ive used the past I highly recommend you give it a go and see the results for your self. I have been applying it in the evening after cleansing, it's very gentle on my skin, didn't cause any breakouts or irritation, it absorbs very easily, the retinol helped with the fine lines I have in the forehead and the eye area, the niacinamide kept the acne away, the hyaluronic acid really hydrated my skin. Given that the serum is water based, it was very easy to layer it with my evening skincare routine products. The pump is very convenient and it gives you the right amount you need to use every evening. I really love this product and would recommend it to everyone. I have received the Swisse product to review.
