General Information

Poise Charcoal Liners provide discreet protection against bladder leakage with 3in1 protection and dual odour control.

POISE® Charcoal Odour Protection Liners provide trusted Poise® dryness and comfort, with additional odour control through charcoal technology. They offer discreet protection against light bladder leakage, also known as incontinence.

Located under the dry-touch cover of each liner, these liners have a charcoal infused layer that helps neutralise odours. Combined with the ABSORB-LOC core, our Charcoal liners have dual odour protection with the same dryness and absorbency of our existing range.

Each liner is individually wrapped in a type of fabric-like material rather than plastic. Which is probably more environmentally friendly but I do wonder how waterproof it would be if you stored these say in your gym bag next to sweaty clothes or a moist water bottle. The adhesive used on the liner covers the whole backing rather than a small strip so the liner stays in place until you are ready to remove it. I have tried 6 liners so far and wore them nearly all day and I didn’t have to worry about any odour at all. Each liner is 175mm long which is the perfect size for me. At time of writing these are Manufactured in China so I removed one star from my Overall Rating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stiffer than I'm use to [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear liners everyday since having my children so it was nice to trial something new. When I opened the packet to grab one out I did noticed that the liners do feel somewhat stiff. I liked that they are individually wrapped in a soft cotton type material which doesn't make a noise when opening which makes them even more discreet. I must admit that the liners do feel a little stiff initially once in place but do soften a little bit after I move around. I always say that if I can't feel it then it's comfortable but I can feel these. As for absorbency they're good. They wick any moisture away and I do feel dry and there is no smell at all which is great. These Light Liners don't scrunch up or move once in place which is always good as I can't stand when they move around. Would I buy these again? Yeah I would. Even though they're a little stiffer than I'm use to and I can feel them in my underwear I'm getting use to them as the weeks go by and noticing the feeling less.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poise Extra Long liners with charcoal [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This extra longer liner product works a lot better than a normal incontinence liner. I usually wear an overnight or thick incontinence pad during the day and most nights. This product was fairly absorbent and absorbed the wee. I did wear incontinence underwear during the trial, as I normally wear that too, in addition to wearing the incontinence liner. This product absorbed the wee smell, which was great. I will use the extra long liner product again. I didn't try the light liner yet, as the other product was more suited to me and my needs.

They are a bit stiffer in feeling when first in use, but soften rather quickly that you don't notice that you are wearing them. Keeps odours to a minimum so you feel more comfortable throughout the day. Helps keep you feeling fresh, no matter what you are doing. I found them to be great at work, where I am lifting stock, having a laugh or sneezing. I feel safe in knowing that any leakage is caught, and that I am feeling comfortable and dry.

After having a child there are times when I need some extra protection from light bladder leakage. These liners are soft and comfy enough to wear all day. The advanced odour control, a charcoal infused layer that helps to neutralise odours, keeps me feeling dry, fresh and confident. I would happily recommend these liners to anyone needing some extra protection from light bladder leakage. Costing $5.40 for a 22 pack this seems like good value to me.

The charcoal liners were lightweight, I forget that I am wearing it and it has not caused any reaction to my sensitive skin. They seem stronger than other liners, so it doesn’t move around, the liner doesn’t get bunched up and it stayed in place and absorbed well.. I would recommend these to friends and family and would buy them again myself

This product feels very light and stays in place. I forget that I am wearing it and it has never caused any reaction to my sensitive skin. Really love the fact that has charcoal in it, my skin feels perfect against this pad. Located under the dry-touch cover of each liner, these liners have a charcoal infused layer that helps neutralise odours. It also has a lean design, that would fit most underwear styles. It doesn't move easily, meaning I can confident go for my jogs/running and without worrying any issues. It's a great liner, barely there, but absorbent and offers assurance for protection. I would recommend this product.

As suggested, changed 2 times throughout the day and I felt comfortable and fresh. They are a bit stiffer than the regular Poise Liners when you first put them on, but soften up during wear. The Charcoal lining really does remove excess odour compared to the regular liners, which is great! The Poise Charcoal Odour Control liners helps give you confidence throughout the day that when you cough, sneeze or laugh too hard, you are safe from uncomfortable leakages.

To start with, the packaging was very basic and plain but I liked the fact they were individually wrapped as this meant I can discreetly take some in a bag without worrying about hygiene and it being obvious. The pad was quite stiff and didn't stick on my underwear easily to begin with but once I wore it, it eventually stuck down and didn't move all day like the other liners I've used. Odour was minimal, and absorption was good. I didn't change it through the day and left it on all day and it did it's job. Would probably buy again depending on the price, and have recommended to family.

The Poise advanced odour control with charcoal light panty liners gave me some confidence knowing that it kept me feeling fresh and clean through my day. It works to absorb any liquid and love that it there was no odour detected as well. It comes in a packet of 22 individually wrapped liners. Each would fit your underwear and for this type I usually prefer to use daily or in between periods. Would like if it was available in a thin liner and wide version as some underwear this seemed to be smaller, I find I have to wear 2 of these liners so it doesn't leak. Otherwise, it's a bit on the bulky side but once you get used to it, it gets comfy and you get used to it.

While I work on that these are a fantastic way to support my body and the healing process after having a baby! You don’t feel like your actually wearing anything they’re soo comfortable (not like a period pad where you feel like you have a nap on and people could probably see it if you had tight clothing on). They’re nice and slim so fit into any kind of clutch and handbag. Plus they don’t have silly colours or pattens on them so if they fall out they’re super discrete!

The packaging was fairly basic to begin with, each liner was individually wrapped which was good especially if I were to take some on the go. I found once opening, the liners were a bit stiff from the charcoal and that meant the liner didn't stick on my underwear well to begin with, it kept lifting up. However after wearing them for the day, it stayed put and didn't move around. The absorption was good and the odour left was minimal. I didn't feel them in my underwear during the day which was a huge plus as some of the cheaper ones would lift up and I would be constantly adjusting throughb the day. Overall not bad, would use again.

I always wear liners if I’m going out for a long day or it’s hay fever season. Liners are great for bladder leakage or even a light period. Poise regular pads are my go to when Aunt Flo comes so I was excited to try something new from the Poise range. The liners are super absorbent considering the slim design. They look nice and simple and fit discreetly in my handbag or purse. I would defiantly recommend.
