Rated 4 out of 5 by Annyex. from Pore strips are like spring clean for your pores Pore strips have been around in the beauty industry for a long time! I've heard every shame and fame about them and really at the end of the day, it comes down to personal experience and whether it's done a positive thing to your skin. For me I love them! My go to is definitely Biore and these ones are the Deep Cleansing pore strips. Biore does good ones because their designs fit nicely over your nose and also for the ones around the corners of your mouth and chin. Very useful! I have an concoction of actives and skin care products going on that combats a lot of my skin issues along with plenty of other products to try including old school favourites and new innovative ones. Despite all of that going on and keeping my skin pristine, there's something about a pore strip that just physically takes away my blackheads and whiteheads! Not amount of acne serums or blackhead/whitehead removal toners or mosituriser physically gets down and dirty in those pores to yank out those pesty heads! Once they're gone, I resume my acne serums, toners moisturiser etc and all my actives and it just refines and smoothes my skin the next day. I know blackheads and white heads come back but I found them coming back at a slower rate and less of it, of course if I keep up with my rigorous skin care routine then they are somewhat kept at bay. I have large pores so not the pore strips won't 'shrink' your pores, but the notion is if those blackheads and whiteheads are not removed or kept in control, the clogged pores get expanded giving the appearance of large pores. The pore srtips removes the black/whiteheads but with an expanded pores there's nothing you can do about it except to keep the skin smooth and clear so to reduce that appearance. Definitely be using pore strips again, but really I use them around 3 times per year, gives me a clean slate to treat my pores!

I received this product in the 'Best in Beauty' box and was excited to try. I was never one to use a pore strip before, although I remember it was a huge trend when I was in high school. I regularly exfoliate my skin using clay masks, glycolic peels and chemical peels so I never saw the need for pore strips. Nevertheless, when in lockdown, self pampering is a must! I gave it a try over a self pampering weekend. I took one out of the plastic sleeve and unpeeled the strip like a bandaid and placed it on my nose. I followed the directions and left it there as recommended. My hair up in a bun, I was in my comforting oodie, and my feet in those baby foot foot spa peels. Then it came time to strip it off! Boy oh boy, I was so keen to see what wonderful things the strip would pull out. Also read that Shay Mitchell loves these pore strips! And... *drum roll* it was somewhat underwhelming. I think the strips did pull out some dirt and grime and other nasties but I did not have any blackheads to see the full effect. My nose does feel soft and 'clean' afterwards but no apparent change. I think it does do the trick, its just not right for me. Still, it was super fun nonetheless and affordable self pampering activity!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Interesting product I haven’t used pore strips in a little while so I was very happy to receive them in Beauty Heaven’s best of beauty box 2021. These Biore deep cleansing pore strips are oddly satisfying to use on my nose. I have used these previously and I’m always surprised at how well they unclog my pores. For this product I would definitely recommend reading the instructions as there is a certain technique to use to get the most out of this beauty process. I have slacked a little recently with deep cleaning my pores so I will definitely be partaking in the use of these pore strips more often. You get a few in the pack which is always good. I have used pore strips regularly in the past and would definitely repurchase the Biore ones as I think that they worked really well with my combination skin type and unblocked my pores.

Rated 4 out of 5 by chunky.monkeys from Gross but Satisfying I was given the Biore Original Deep Cleansing Pore Strips to try as part of the Best in Beauty 2021 trial. This kind of thing was all the rage in magazines when I was a kid but I’ve never tried it – mostly because I’ve never really known what blackheads are (that probably sounds crazy!) and I don’t have particularly big issues with the pores on my nose. It was actually fun using the strips though. The first time I tried it, my skin was slightly damp so the strip didn’t suction on well and the result was only a few tiny hairs pulled out. The second time, I followed the instructions to “thoroughly wet my nose” and the strip attached much more successfully onto my nose. After a good 10-15 minutes, I peeled off the strip very carefully (much like a bandaid, I wouldn’t recommend ripping it off!) and found that this time there was some plugs of dirt and general disgustingness on the strip, mostly where it sat on the tip of my nose. It was weirdly satisfying to see the result! It does leave some minor glue residue behind but thankfully that was easy enough to wipe off. I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase since regular chemical exfoliation will likely have the same result but I might keep it in mind for the future when my skin is feeling particularly gross and my nose needs a deep clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nidhi1 from Clean nose I used these nose strips years ago and wasn’t impressed with them so I was really looking forward to trying this out. They come in a pack of 6 so very convenient and cheap. To use it I washed my face thoroughly so nay traces of moisturizer are removed then wet my nose, dry my fingers then take the shiney sticker off the strip and put the shiney side on the wet nose. Then I wet the strip from the top so it stuck properly to the nose otherwise it won’t work. I waited around 15 minutes before the strip was dry like paper mache then I took the strip off slowly. The end results was shiney nose and yucky looking strip, never knew I needed it so much but my nose still looks great, I think I will be using it fortnightly. Overall its a great, easy to use product to get rid of blackheads at home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by duality from gross but oh-so-satisfying! These strips just work and although a little gross, they are very satisfying! Product comes boxed with a how to use guide on the back. Inside the strips are individually packaged in foil pouches. They are made Japan. Please take the time to read the side panel of the boxed labelled "Cautions" as it contains a list of reasons you should not use them and what do if you can't remove them painlessly. Provided you are a suitable candidate and followed the instructions they work, and work well for removing build up in the pores. Basically they are strips of dry glue with a fabric backing. You apply the shiny "glue" side to your nose, wet with a little warm water and wait for it to harden and dry then gently peel off. If you can't do it or find it's too painful you can soak the fabric side in water again and it will slide off easily. A tip I would give is to place a warm washcloth over the area for about 5 minutes before you apply the strip as it seems to really increase the amount of "gunk" it pulls out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nikkim from Blackheads be Gone! I remember using these Pore Strips what feels like eons ago and kind of forgot just how helpful they are. I'm a Mum in for mid 40's and I thought this would be a product that I might have to hand down to the daughter but that's actually wishful thinking. Turns out my skin likes to react against me by cracking a teenage tanty and has started producing blackheads and pimples in my T-zone more than ever before. So I have to say I'm pretty delighted that these came along in this trial when they did. Each strip in this 6 strip box comes individually packaged in a foiled packet. After cleansing my face I opened the packet and pulled out the pore strip and maneuvered it slightly at the slits so it would cover my nose adequately. Then I thoroughly wet down my nose area as this is what helps the pore strip to adhere to your skin. I dried my hands and pulled the strip off the liner and I placed the pore strip on my nose and wet the top area of the strip to make sure it was smoothed over my nose perfectly. I left it to sit for approximately 15 minutes when the strip was dry again. I then pulled gently on both sides bringing the strip back towards the bridge of my nose taking it off. The rest is basically a bit gross but I think you'll know what you're going to be looking at there. Afterward, my nose skin was almost blackhead free which was awesome. You're never too old for a pore strip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MoonlightSak16 from Easy to use. I found these strips really easy to use. The instructions were clear. You wet your nose and stick the strips on your nose. Wait for ten minutes until it is parch dry like a paper mache and then peel off. I found I had to wait a bit longer than 10 minutes. When dry , my teenage son did find it hurt him when he stripped it off. I found it ok, and it did not hurt me. When you strip it off , thats where you will see the results. The blackheads and whiteheads come off easily and you can see them on the strips. I did find that because the strips were white in colour it was a bit hard to see what it has pulled off. Would have been good if the strips were black in colour. Overall it is a great staple product too have. My teenage boy has claimed my box and said he loves how smooth his nose gets after use.

I can recall using these many years ago as a teenager, and also on my husband, who as a tradesman would get very dirty, and I was always amazed at the dirt and junk they removed! Clear instructions are included in the package, and they are best used weekly to keep your skin clear of deep down dirt, rubbish and oil that can cause blackheads. Presented in a box of 6 strips, press the strip onto your nose area, leave for 10-15 minutes until it dries, and then peel off slowly. You’ll be absolutely amazed at the junk and rubbish it removes! It’s actually very satisfying! I’ve always had pretty good skin, and blackheads have never really been a problem for me, but I find that these keep my husbands skin completely clear of blackheads. I’m not so sure they would be suitable for those with sensitive skin though.

I have always wanted to try such strips, yet always chickened out purchasing these at priceline. I know it is weird, yet i found it relatively easy and satisfying to use. Putting the product on my nose, it sat well, it did not move and i did not find any bubble while waiting for it to dry to remove. Have to say, looking after removing this from my nose, i was shocked! You would never have thought that you have that kind of build up on your nose. Yet thinking now with wearing masks what your nose goes through, i can see how. I will be definitely be purchasing these products again. As that Victoria is currently in extended lock down, it is a way i can look after my face at least until i can get back to the beautician.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LeBec from A macabre fascination with dirty pores... These strips sure ain't for the faint-hearted... One, because they HURT ripping off (they pull at all those fine facial micro hairs... eek!) Two, because they are totally GROSS to look at after you do! (in that car-crash, can't look away type mentality) Basically, if your nose is congested with visible pores - these will 100% work to get some (never quite *all* of those congealed little pus-worms out... but fair warning, they are seriously disgusting to see embedded into the underside of the strip once it's been eased off. Perhaps it's a case of 'better out than in' for sure..? - but you do need a strong stomach and a nerve of steel if you have sensitive skin. The more often you use these, the more minimised your congestion will become, but I do suggest you always use a good quality toner afterwards as your wide-opened pores (once the little plugs are uncorked) are going to be super vulnerable. For this reason, never use them during the daytime before you're about to put makeup on as you're going to be introducing bacteria into those craters at the worst possible time! They are very easy to use and some of the new printed versions are cute and a bit more fun than the plain white ones. Make sure your skin is clean, but don't exfoliate prior because you need the tops of the solidified pus stuck in those pores to adhere to the strip well or they won't get pulled out properly. Make sure your skin is moist enough to activate the strip, but not too wet to affect the adherent. Ease the strip off slowly to get the most 'worms' out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by freaky from Blackheads are gone! The products clams that with regular use, blackheads are supposed to diminish. Directions state to apply to wet face with the pointy end of the strip pointing down to cover the tip of the nose. Let the strip dry for 10 - 15 minutes, and then slowly peel off. I was skeptical that the strip would stay on wet skin, but it sure didnt budge. When applying the strip, I ensured I pressed down over each part of the strip to ensure each area was sufficiently covered and to ensure effectiveness. After the 15 mins, I then gently peeled off the strip by starting from the side and slowly lifting off. After removal, I was both satisfied and grossed out at the same time! Very effective. I also experienced no irritation as I used this product. This product comes with 6 pore strips and the average price is about $6.Pretty good value at $1 per use. I am converted and will continue to use as I was satisfied with how effective this product is in removing the gunk so easily and effectively from my skin and its ease of use.

I do tend to get a lot of stubborn blackheads on my nose but try to manage these by exfoliating twice a week. After using the Biore Pore Strip as directed, it did remove some of the stubborn blackheads from my nose, particularly from the bridge. I think I need to optimise my technique of applying the strip to my nose, in that I found it didn’t stick that well to the sides of my nose and hence didn’t remove as many blackheads there. But this is probably something that can be improved with repeated use. Overall, the strips were easy to use and I like that they take only 10 minutes to dry. I would recommend these strips if you tend to get a lot of blackheads on your nose and are short on time as they don’t take too long to work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jpandkt08 from Deep pore pulling power In a nutshell, these pore strips do exactly as promoted, removing build up whether it be blackheads or dirt from deep within the pores. To be honest, I haven't used a pore strip since highschool! They still feel like they're aimed at a younger generation, even the packaging although simple and clear just seems to have that teenager acne pimple target audience. You apply the strip to wet nose skin, leave on for 15 mins or longer if you like, I don't feel it makes too much difference if you go longer. I would suggest removing a little slowly, lift carefully and peel from one edge. I ripped my first one off like I was waxing and I felt like my skin was really sensitive afterwards, probably lost a layer along the way. Best part is inspecting the strip afterwards so you can see all the little gross blockages. My nose looks much better tho, I have quite large visible ports and surprisingly this helped to make them a bit less noticeable! Would definitely use again!

I used to use these strips all the time as a teenager and they were always so entertaining to see all the gunk getting pulled out of the skin! This package has 6 nose strips (plus we were given 3 of the limited edition patterns too - i love the Kissies print). The box is really easy to follow and has very clear instructions on how to use. it is recommended to use these no more than every 3 days. although these are fun and really satisfying to see what you can remove from your nose, i wouldnt be using these all the time as i prefer using cleansers and alpha hydroxy acids to exfoliate my skin these days. i made my husband use one, and we got ALOT out of his nose so that was really fun. Men get very sooky when it comes to the removal of these strips. Beauty is Pain

Thank you Beautheaven for giving me the chance to review these Bioré Deep cleansing Pore Strips, this was part of the Best in Beauty 2021 awards. These come in a pack of 6 with great instructions on how to use. It points out how to use and apply safely, also with great hints, when not to use. Excellent safety instructions. Each of the Deep Pore Cleansing Strips are in a sealed sachet. I love how the instructions are easy to read and also show how to use diagrams. Too easy. Wash your face, thoroughly wet your nose, apply, then, peel off plastic liner, press down. Leave to dry for around 10-15minutes. Slowly peel it off, towards centre carefully. Follow the instructions and see the results. This is designed to use weekly, to keep pore from clogging up. Bioré is a great skincare brand, with heaps of cleaners, scrubs and toners. My skin always feels clean and fresh after using.

Rated 4 out of 5 by misfortune8 from Gets the Gunk Out! I received a box of Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips in the Best in Beauty 2021 Box, to trial for free from Beautyheaven. It's been a while since I've used Bioré Pore Strips regularly. I used to buy them before I got my Dermasonic+ Cleansing Device, which I stopped using for the duration of this trial. In the past, I would use vigorous scrubs & cleanse until my skin was squeaky clean, but the blackhead zone across my nose would barely budge. Since I stopped using my Dermasonic, they've started to return. Using Bioré Pore Strips cleans out my clogged pores & leaves me mostly blackhead-free. The pore strips seem to work with vacuum suction, pulling out the gunk & leaving my skin debris-free. Each strip is individually sealed in a foil sachet to prevent moisture damage. There are simple instructions with diagrams on the box, plus on each sachet. The pore strips are ergonomically shaped to fit most nose shapes: they stretch a little to fit & there are slits to shape if needed. They adhere securely, so you can potter about without them falling off. I don't use a timer - I just feel the strip periodically to see if it's dry enough to remove. If it's too wet, it slides off without removing anything. I like to grip both sides at once & peel away towards the centre. I find that's more effective than peeling it off in one direction. Made in Japan. INGREDIENTS: Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Water, Glycerin, Polysilicone-13, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Stearyl Glycyrretinate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Aluminum Hydroxide, Titanium Dioxide.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rk2002 from blackheads be gone I have always dislikes getting too close to a mirror or getting close to magnifying mirror because it becomes apparent that I have pesky blackheads on my nose. Even though most people won't notice them and they are completely normal, there's always a temptation to squeeze or pluck at them. This is never a good idea and for me usually ends in some scarring or pigmentation. I was so lucky to be able to trial these pore stirs from Biore with the Beaty heaven best in beauty trial team. They come in a pack of six and should last at least 3 weeks. The instructions are very simple and they are not at all fidgety to use. I use them after Ive given my face a very good cleanse. The strip applies to a wet nose and the shape fits very nicely on most of the required area. After 10-15 minutes I remove the strips both both edges- surprisingly its not a painful process and I can visible seen the blackheads on the strip- gross but satisfying. There was no irritation to the skin whatsoever! I did find that the strips could not access the very sides of my nose and there were patches that weren't clear. Probably not noticeable until I get up and personal with my mirror

Rated 4 out of 5 by annibaby from An old favourite to clean the nose I haven't used the Biore Strips in ages but, was excited to try them again as part of my Best in Beauty, Trial team. I have a few blackhead on my nose so, this is the perfect time to give them a whirl. I apllied this after a have cleansed my skin and made sure my skin was still wet as per the directions on the packet. I peeled the packaging slowly and applied the smooth side on my nose. I left it on for about 10 minutes as I felt it was adequate time for the product to work. When the strip dries on the nose it does feel a bit tight, so you know to remove the product. When I peeled of the strip I made sure I did it slowly, so as not to pull at my skin. It did hurt a bit when removing it. When I pulled it off I saw some of those nasty blackheads in the strips and it felt to satisfying removing them. There was a bit of the residue from a the strips, so make sure you remove excess residue with some tepid water. The skin on my nose looked clearer after using the strips. I would use this product twice weekly to keep you nose looking clear and clean of blackheads.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beauty Fan 69 from Great and effective I was really excited to try the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, they come beautifully packaged consisting of a box of 6 nose strips. Easy to apply you simply remove the strip from the pouch, twist/loosen the slits and after washing face, make sure nose is wet and you then apply the strip by pressing down onto skin ensuring good contact. I let the strip dry for about ten minutes until stiff to the touch and then I peeled back the edges towards the center. I found they were gentle on my sensitive skin and didn't cause any irritation. The strips are very effective and each left my skin feeling soft, smooth and looking cleaner/fresher. I have noticed with continual use the effects are visible and I am glad to say it is a fantastic product that I will continue to use and happily recommend to others, wonderful and I like that each packet will last quite a long time.

Nothing more satisying in getting the skin around my nose a nice deep clean! I wet my nose well with warm water before application of the strip (dont forget to twist the strip lightly to make it fit better) then stick it down and wait about 12-14 minutes till the strip feels completely dry to the touch. Then I pull it off one side at at a time, give my face a wash and then moisturize! It is so satisfying seeing all the gunk get pulled out and leaves my skin congestion free and clear. My teenage daughter used it for the first time and was so impressed with the instant results! I find applying the strip once every two months is perfect for my skin. It really helps clean and clear out congestion and leaves my nose looking smooth and clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by IndieAna from Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips I received the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips in the 2021 Best in Beauty Trial Box. I remember trying pore strips when I was a teen, so I was interested in seeing what I thought of them now. The pore strips work by lifting out dirt and oil in pores specifinally around the nose area. The 6 pore strips are packaged in a cardboard box. They are shaped to fit snugly on the tip and sides of the nose. To use you simply remove the plastic backing and stick the strip onto a cleansed, still damp nose. I left on for the recommended 15 minutes and then proceeded to peel the strip off my nose. The strip removed the contents of some clogged pores, but there wasn't as much as I had expected. Although, my husband tried one also and he proudly showed me the many blackheads on his strip. The Biore Pore Cleansing Strips aren't a product I feel I need, but I would definitely recommend to anyone with problem blackheads on and surrounding the nose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by renee.t from Pore Strips I remember using pore strips as a teenager and how satisfying the were to use and actually see the congestion being lifted out of your skin. After an incident where a pore strip removed some of my skin along with it and hearing how bad they were for your skin I stopped using them focusing more on using acid serums and toners. While I wouldn’t personally use these all the time as I prefer to take a more gentle approach to my skin, I think a lot of people will love these. When using them on my own skin and taking them off super slowly and carefully (adding a touch of water if they felt too dry) I noticed only minor results as I don’t have too much congestion. When I used one of these on my husband (who refuses to do anymore skincare than watching his face) they were incredibly satisfying. I applied one to his skin when he got out of the shower and after waiting for it to dry I removed it along with a lot of congestion. So for someone who won’t let me do anything else this product is going to be great! My husband has already asked if we can do another one soon - so looks like this is the product for you if you want to have instant visible results that you can literally see.

I used this and my pores felt clean and skin looked smoother. The pore strips come 6 in a pack. They didn’t irritate my skin and didn’t dry out my skin. Use this product only on your nose and use gently. It is a good dependable product for keep my skin looking clean and smooth. Use these strips once a week or every 10 days, otherwise you can dry your skin and also you won’t have any gunk or blackheads to clean if you use too often. The pore strips work well to keep my skin looking smooth and helps remove blackheads that pop up once in a while. My skin looks healthier and smoother after use, it’s best to use these strips on a regular basis so that the skin is kept smoother and cleaner with the pore strips.

These are a Japanese product and are in a box of six Nose strips, they provide deep cleansing and lift out deep down dirt, oil and blackheads. These Nose Strips are skin friendly and dermatologist tested, they remove dirt and with continued use should visibly reduce the appearance of pores and thoroughly cleanse the area. The instructions on the boxed packaging (which has a picture of a young woman with a strip across her nose) are comprehensive and explain well the procedure for applying the strip. Your nose needs to be clean and wet as the strip won't stick to a dry nose. Ten to fifteen minutes later the pore strip is ready to be slowly (as it may pull) removed. Although at present I don't have too much of blackhead/pore issue this did cleanse the area of oil and dirt buildup and caused no irritation.

I have never used any pore strips previously because I have sensitive skin which can react to products and ingredients. But I really got a lot out of trying this. The strip is easy to use and feels like it is really getting in there and cleaning out all the nasties. Using the strip is easy. Wash your face, give it a good clean, keep you nose wet but dry your hands. Then apply the strip with dry hands on your wet nose. It doesn’t take that long to get working and progress it’s magic. The strip did feel like it was drying out and that’s kinda when you know that it is ready to come off. I peeled mine off slowly - sensitive skin and all. I was surprised with what came off. And super glad I did it. So many nasties which I am very glad are no longer in my skin. White head gone, some black heads out and others I guess will have to wait until I am ready to do it again

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gea from Actually cleanes pores I have a love and hate relationship with pore strips. I love the fact that they clean pores and you can actually see how good they are but I hate the fact that they are so hard on delicate and sensitive skin like mine. These deep pore strips were easy to use and the instructions were clear and understandable. I used it after having a shower so that my pores would be open. I made sure my nose was clean, then I made my nose wet and applied the strip on it (making sure that my hands were dry when smoothing it down). I waited 10 minutes until the strip was hard to touch and then gently started pulling it off from both sides, being extra careful to do it slowly so that I wouldn´t hurt my skin. The results were really good, I could actually see how much dirt the strip managed to pull off. My nose was red and sensitive for about 15 minutes after that but then settled down. I am eager to wait the long-term results since I am planning on using it every week to see if it makes any difference to the size and amount of my pores (that is what the product promises to do).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Erandi from Amazing product to clear the gunk Was very excited to try these as I have seen these before but never got around to buying one. Since receiving the product I have used one strip. I didn't have any blackheads but when I used it I was surprised to see how much dirt was on the strip. I left it for around 25-30 minutes and when I pulled it off, the strip was not a pretty sight. I didn't even realise that I had so much of gunk on my nose. After the strip came off my nose felt so smooth and soft. I think once you use a strip, you can use another a few weeks later, as it is not something to be used frequently. These strips are easy to use and the design is effective as you can see which way to put the strip on the nose. The removal is also quite simple and didn't hurt like some other strips do. One packet will last a while as you will use it in the space of two to three months only. Will definitely purchase these again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jess R from The classic pore strip I have always had large, noticeable pores on my nose so I first started using pore strips in my teens! It is always so satisfying to pull a strip off and see all the gunk it pulls out! or maybe that's just me! LOL, Anyways these pore strips are dermoatologist tested and designed to purify your pores (aka pull all the gunk out of them!). I like to have a shower first so that my pores are softened and opened. Making sure your nose it wet you gently place in position over your nose and allow to dry (If your nose is not wet or you put it on upside down it wont stick!). After about 10-15 mins, you carefully pull from one side, going nice and slow. That's it and you have clear pores! I find it works really great, you may need to use a few times to get your application and removal down pat. Also the limited edition designs are super cute :) Whilst this is a great product, for me I prefer gentler methods of pore cleansing which involves the use of chemical exfoliants rather than the physical removal you get with a strip. However these are really great for my hubby who doesn't have an extensive skincare routine (just the odd cleanse and he dose moisturise daily) when he needs a good pore clean out! So this product could be great for you depending on your individual needs and current skincare routine.
