General Information

Directions

Apply a small amount to a specific area, blending quickly with a Foundation Brush before it sets. Repeat this process on any areas where coverage is desired.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight hydrating foundation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It provides light-medium coverage but doesn't fully cover all flaws nicely. It's simply too thin. On saying that, it is lightweight and not heavy on the skin, so I'm a bit torn as to whether I love it or not. At the end of the day, it doesn't look like you had any foundation on. The plump provides easy application. And I liked the fact that it has "skincare" built into the foundation! It has plant-based Squalane to lock moisture and Hyaluronic Acid to boost hydration. It does keep my skin hydrated, though overtime, I don't see a huge difference in any improvement to my skin. You would love it if you’d like a lightweight-medium coverage foundation that hydrates your skin at the same time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can be a bit sceptical nowadays trying a “budget” foundation, but I was pleasantly surprised that this one lived up to my expectations! The idea of skincare and makeup working simultaneously is super appealing to those who don’t have time incorporating another step in their routine, or simply just like the idea of having a boost in their foundation. I think it’s too early wether or not to say I have noticed a visible improvement in my skin, but these things take time. The serum is lightweight, easy to blend and has a great coverage for everyday - not too thick but enough to feel like you’re getting good coverage. It works well with both with a sponge and a brush - these different methods also have a different result coverage wise, so you can play with that. It’s hydrating, long lasting and super dewy- I think it would be best as a daytime foundation for this reason.

After using it for a couple weeks, I am very happy with the results. Knowing that I am using a foundation on my face that has good ingredients that also helps with my skin is definitely a plus and makes me feel better about using it. It is hydrating and gives my skin a dewy finish which I love. Would recommend to family and friends. The packaging was easy to use and blended seamlessly, creating a flawless finish. It did not feel heavy on the skin. For it being a 2 in 1 skincare and foundation was a benefit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t expecting much from this product as I have struggled finding a foundation that offers good coverage, isn’t drying and lasts into the evening, but I was pleasantly surprised by Revlon. I usually wear a CC cream only and when my favourite product was no longer available to purchase I started looking for foundations that could replace my trusty CC cream and haven’t had a lot of luck. My skin, now in my mid 30’s requires a stronger product and I found that Revlon’s Illuminance Foundation actually is a really good combination of coverage and skincare. It’s non drying and goes on quite silky, leaving your skin looking moisturised. If you like a matte foundation, you won’t like this product. I prefer a dewy finish and found I got this from the Illuminance Foundation. It’s non caking and easy to blend, and I would use again.

It was a great colour match in ivory for my light skin. A little goes a long way for sure! The pump was easy to use and didn't cause unnecessary mess, allowing me to use as little or as much as I wanted. I found that the product blended better on my face with a beauty blender. I found this foundation hydrating in the non-dry areas of my face. However, I found that it was patchy around the nose and on my forehead. To try and avoid this, I used a smaller amount of product in these particular areas and ensured I used a hydrating base. Overall, my skin did appear more dewy which is what I wanted to achieve with a foundation product. This product is quite affordable based on its 2 in 1 properties. I would recommend this product to family and friends, particularly those who are trying to achieve a hydrated, radiant look. I definitely advise to blend quickly as soon as its applied to skin, as it sets quite quickly!

I've found this foundation great for day to day use because of how lightweight and natural it looks on my skin. It applies beautifully with a beauty sponge and it can be layered on if you require more coverage without it looking heavy. I have oily skin so I was a little concerned that it would separate or melt right off throughout the day, but it actually lasts quite well. Really like how fresh and youthful this makes my skin look so I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was actually so surprised when trialling Revlon's Illuminance Skin-Caring Foundation. I am normal to normal-dry in the winter and this really worked well. A great colour match for my neutral undertone, it glides on so seamlessly and a little goes a long way. If you want it to remain dewy (as advertised) don't be heavy handed, though it will give you medium-to-full coverage with more product used. It also works incredibly well blended with a more illuminating product like Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Filter, which I occasionally used as a base. My only complaint is that I found it clung to any dry patches, which I get around my nose and chin, which made it look patchy/separated in those areas unless I did excellent skin care prep in those areas, which I don't always do for the daily work make up. This is a product I will repurchase though I am not sure of its ability to give good coverage on a night out, but for daytime use it's great.

I was pleasantly surprised trying the Revlon Illuminance Skin-Caring Foundation! Nice and lightweight, it went on smoothly and blended nicely with my beauty blender. It is definitely a great everyday foundation, it has a very natural finish so if you prefer full coverage then it’s not for you. I would never have purchased this myself, so I’m glad I received this sample. I’ll be purchasing another bottle as soon as I run out!

The coverage was light at the beginning, but easily buildable. It went on fantastically with a beauty blender and really covered my fine lines and pores. For the price point, it’s a great product which is accessible and does a really good job, which is what we love! The fact that’s it’s a 2 in 1 foundation is also a plus! I love Hyaluronic Acid and to have it in the foundation was a real stand out for me. It ensures I have hydrated and smoother, younger looking skin without having to use more than one product. The product was really easy to use, the packaging was small and compact and I love the pump to apply product straight into my beauty blender. The colour match was a touch too dark for my skin, but it’s not noticeable and I would definitely recommend!

The foundation provided a dewy but not oily finish. The foundation is more on the lightweight end of coverage but after applying a second layer in areas of concerns and it helped achieve the goals I needed. For a pharmacy style foundation at that price point, it’s certainly something I would recommend. Note: I did find the colour matching a little difficult at the start - but got there in the end!

It is nice and thin, which is good, but I also think the tone may be slightly too light for me. I found it a little watery, which may contribute to its sheer nature. It is a little drying on my skin but has a lovely scent. I most likely wouldn't purchase this in future but was definitely a great try. I have decided to use the rest paired with a thicker moisturiser and another foundation.

It blends pretty well but I wasn’t able to build up the coverage without it leaving me feeling cakey and over applied. The price point is definitely a draw card and it feels light on the skin with just one application. I found after a whole day it clung to any drier areas of my skin and left some inconsistent coverage.

It gives a wonderful glow and makes the skin look healthy and hydrated. The smell was unusual and reminded me of paint which took some getting used to. I would recommend this product if you are going for a more natural look or just want to add a little colour.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating light coverage foundation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shade medium sand ended up being lighter than I expected, it’s a light coverage foundation similar to bb cream. It’s quite hydrating and doesn’t dry out the skin but on top of my daily face cream and sunscreen, it ended up too dewy and had to be toned down with translucent powder. You could build up the coverage but I found it didn’t blend very well with fingers or a foundation brush which is my preferred way to apply foundation and overall I found it to be a bit greasy. The packaging is sleek and I liked the pump which was easy to dispense the right amount.

It gave a really nice skin like finish. It’s definitely hydrating. I did find it to separate on my nose area. I always set my foundation with a light dusting of power as I am an oily girl. A few hours into wearing this I was very shiny. I think this would be great for dryer skin types who like a light feeling foundation. Does have a nice finish to the skin. If you have an oily complexion this may not work for you.

For a medium foundation, I’d hope for a little bit more coverage!! Looked absolutely flawless once I added some concealer, though after a few hours of wear the foundation seeped into areas on my face & looked super cakey - which has never happened before!! Would be great for those wanting something with lighter coverage, though if you have acne or imperfections that you would like to cover, this may not be the foundation for you! Definitely going to have to try it again, perhaps setting the foundation in certain areas to ensure it doesn’t slide off my face or seep into fine lines.

The coverage and colour match seemed right, and it was easy to apply. It didn’t feel heavy on my skin; however, I did try it for a few days and cleansed well each night and still ended up with more pimples than I normally get. I wouldn’t wear it everyday but I would use it for special occasions when I’m dressing up. Photo shows that it evens out my skin tone and covers blemishes on the side I’ve put it on compared to the other.
