General Information

Melt away the day with Bondi Sands Melt Me Cleansing Balm. This nourishing balm cleanser helps to remove makeup, sunscreen and excess oil whilst hydrating skin. Enriched with a blend of active ingredients and natural botanicals including Sea Buckthorn Oil and Ceramides, Melt Me works to deeply clean skin for a hydrated, cleansed complexion.
Dermatologically tested.
Suitable for sensitive skin.
Non-comedogenic - won't clog pores.
Fragrance free.

WARNING: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. KEEP OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN. Carry out a patch test 24 hours prior to use. Do not apply to damaged or inflamed skin. INGREDIENTS: HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, RICINUS COMMUNIS (CASTOR) SEED OIL, HYDROGENATED RAPESEED OIL, GLYCERYL CITRATE/LACTATE/LINOLEATE/OLEATE, POLYGLYCERYL-3 CAPRATE, POLYGLYCERYL-3 POLYRICINOLEATE, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED CERA (HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED WAX), TOCOPHEROL, HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES SEED OIL (SEA BUCKTHORN), ASCORBYL PALMITATE, OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, ANIGOZANTHOS FLAVIDUS FLOWER EXTRACT, ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT, CERAMIDE NG.

Directions

Step 1 On dry skin, use fingertips to massage Bondi Sands Melt Me Cleansing Balm over the entire face.

Step 2 Add warm water to emulsify formula, rinse well and remove using a damp facial cloth.

Tip Follow with the Bondi Sands Fresh'n Up Gel Cleanser for a double cleanse.

I do love this cleansing balm, it feels like it really wipes away makeup and sunscreen and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean without being harsh like other cleansers. It does separate a bit in warmer weather but overall I'm pretty happy with this cleanser!

It also feels a little thick on the face and requires more effort to spread. However, I like that it's in a tube as I find that convenient. It emulsifies well and doesn't irritate my eyes.

The lid also might work better if it were redesigned as it‚s hard to put back on if you‚ve got a handful of oil. This product overall works well on my acne prone skin.

Packaging is great in colder weather and I love that I can squeeze the product out. Gets tricky on hotter days when the product melts and gets quite runny and messy

As a cleanser it works great, feels nice and hydrating, not stripping, on the skin. Removes make up well. Packaging is interesting! Love that I can just squeeze the product out rather than most balms that are in a tub. But a little tricky in warmer weather when some product runs out quickly upon opening

However, in terms of spreadability, it can be a bit challenging to use. Beyond 25 degrees, it tends to melt, which is inconvenient due to its packaging. Below 18 degrees, it becomes too hard to spread smoothly.

I almost feel like the packaging is wrong because I imagine as it starts to get used up, it will be harder to get out. Also, I don't love the smell. It's almost too natural-ish. However, it does a fine job at removing makeup!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lid can be difficult The product itself is nice and takes off my makeup well. But I‚m not a fan of the packaging. It is screw top, which would normally be ok. But for this bottle the combination of a small screw connector with shallow thread means it needs two steady hands to replace. That is difficult to do when the product is running off your fingers while you try screw the lid on. I can‚t leave the lid off while I use the balm because the product drips out onto my vanity. I would not recommend this to anyone with dexterity issues/disability unless you could somehow put it into a different container. I have difficulties with my fingers and had to put it in a different container. It needs a pump or the thread needs to be thicker/a wider connection. 3 stars because I like the balm itself.

I found it really hard to melt it down into an oil consistency so found that I was really tugging at my skin trying to remove my makeup. I also lost many eyelashes during the process of removing eye makeup as it was so thick and tugging on my lashes. I didn't even finish the tube which is unlike me. One pro: being in a tube is really convenient, easier to get product out compared to a tub, and great for travelling!

It stank felt slimey grainy and weird also it absolutely incinerated by eyes and I barely put any on my eyes also my face went insanely red and started to burn I don‚t think I‚m allergic to it as I did a patch test on my hand but this product sucks I wish I could return it
