Also fragrance and oil free we can all benefit from these qualities. After using for 3 weeks my skin feels well hydrated, flake free and smooth. I have really enjoyed seeing my skin at the end of a long work day with my foundation hydrated in place and smooth not dry and separated as it can sometimes be when my skin hasn’t been as well hydrated. I will continue use after trial as it is a great price at $19.99 too. I have recommended family and friends discover this water gel too.

The consistency is thin and watery and the texture is gel like. Having oily combination skin most moisturisers are too rich and end up clogging my pores - this one doesn't do that. I even find this perfect for night time as it keeps me well moisturised overnight. The water gel absorbs pretty much instantly and my skin isn't left greasy. All I do is dip a clean finger into the pot and that's all I need as a little bit goes a long way. My skin has been really hydrated and moisturised. It also feels silky soft and smooth. I'm in love with how my skin looks and feels. It works so well underneath my daily make-up making my skin look incredible. The ingredients are great and I'm definitely going to be a repeat purchaser.

A lightweight gel I dip my finger into the pot of gel (my only con re hygiene reasons) then using my fingertips is swiftly absorbs into my face as I am massage it in. I am amazed to see the results after only using it for a couple of weeks I have experienced optimal hydration. Fantastic used with or without makeup my skin feels and looks so comfortable I will now need to keep purchasing this. After using for 2-3 weeks now I can safely say I will continue purchasing this and recommending it to family, friends and everyone.

I’ve been using it after the Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser. The gel has a thin, almost-creamy consistency, which glides on and nourishes the skin. It keeps the skin feeling hydrated, supple and smooth and doesn’t feel oily or sticky to touch. It doesn’t have a fragrance to it and would also be great for those with sensitive skin. Would definitely recommend for those with dry skin.

I have loved incorporating this into my routine over the past 2 weeks because wow! Typically I shy away from water gel and gel based moisturisers as I don’t find them hydrating enough for my dry skin, particularly overnight. However, I am beyond impressed with this one from Cetaphil! I find it layers lovely over my serums, works well in both my day and night routines, and provides a hack to achieve that glass skin or glazed donut look that has been trending. I will absolutely be re-purchasing this product and recommending to friends and family. As it’s a water gel, it has a lovely cooling, soothing feel to the skin and is very lightweight. I am in love with my skin has a gorgeous glow after use and it’s not all looks, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and I can feel the difference after use. I also love the price point. A little goes a long way, I find dipping my ring finger in is enough to easily cover my face and neck. I haven't used Cetaphil in years, but I will be running out to replace this asap.

Their products are known to be effective but gentle on skin. I was very lucky to try out their Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel. I have used this water gel for few weeks now and I absolutely love it, especially during spring and summer. As the name suggest, this water gel has a lightweight texture that just sinks onto your skin immediately. The water gel is well absorbed into the skin without leaving any residue between. My skin felt refreshing and hydrated after use. I apply the water gel as a base before primer and foundation which works very well, keeping my skin hydrated throughout the day.

It didn't feel too heavy or thick, but nice and smooth applying it over my face. The level of moisture felt great, my skin still felt hydrated upon waking up in the morning. I tend to have a dry/sensitive face, so I'd be interested to see if they'd hit the spot in the depths of a dry and cold winter. My face didn't react or breakout with the water gel, so I'd highly rate this product. I usually look past the Cetaphil range, but they really pack a good punch of high quality ingredients that do the job at being at such a great price point. I also enjoyed the hydrating foaming cream cleanser beforehand, but looking foward to seeing what else is in the range!

Otherwise, it will dry out my skin and become sensitive. The water gel texture is just perfect to use in summer time, especially in hot FNQ. Only small amount of product is needed for the whole face and neck. My skin feels soft and well hydrated after application. It gradually reduces the redness on my skin. It also goes well with suncreen, no rubber is formed afterward. It has been a great experience to use Cetaphil products in the first time. I would recommend this product. So far so good , it helps to hydrate my dry and rough skin . Feel smooth and gentle on the skin. I like that it has lightweight formula not heavy at all. It has a cooling effect and feels refreshing. It is very lightweight and fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin. I have been using this water gel for few weeks now with my night time skin care routine. It act like a mild moisture however i use a thick moisture on top of it before bedtime. It leaves my skin very smooth and hydrated in the morning. I absolutely love the presence of niacinamide in it as I am able to replace my niacinamide serum with skin care routine. I wasn’t sure how this (being a gel) would compare to the cream in the range as I have used it before and loved it but boy did it compare if anything I like it better as having the hormonal breakout or cream out to creams that are too greasy the gel is just perfect I used a pea size amount or just over for face and neck, it absorbs well, provides me with day long hydration it is non greasy and makes the perfect base under makeup too. Coming out of the winter months in conjunction with the cleanser and serum in this range the cream has helped provide hydrated, comfortable and flake free skin. It’s a 10/10 from me and I will be repurchasing it for myself along with recommending it to family and friends.

Before trying this product, I regularly used a competitor's product to hydrate my face. I like this product because it genuinely hydrates my face. My only criticism is it feels stickier and doesn't smell as nice as the competitors. However, for its overall purpose, I found better results for this keeping my face hydrated for longer periods of time. Did not irritate or worsen the heat rash. 110% would reccomend.

I love Cetaphil as a really trusted reliable brand. I can tell from looking at the box this is a quality professional product. The gel looks so glossy, quite liquid like and just how it should look. It really soothed my dry skin I get everyday and I noticed an instant effect and improvement. I prefer the gel compared to a cream. Glad there was no negatives. I’m really satisfied with the results after 2 weeks. It’s just what I need and works well. It has a cooling moisture barrier effect. As the name suggests it’s a very light based formula which actually works. After applying the skin feels hydrated and soft. In other words it allows the skin to breathe with a cooling sensation. I have a very dry sensitive skin and to be very honest I m happy using this product as it’s not causing any skin damage and helping me restore my moisture which I lost due to pregnancy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Moisture Gel is a gorgeous formula for sensitive skin. It’s fragrance free and has hero ingredients hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid. It’s very lightweight and absorbs quickly. I think it might be a little too lightweight for my parched skin right now, like I need a little oil? I’ve been using it as an ultra moisturising serum and pairing it with thicker moisturiser. It would be perfect for skin that isn’t dehydrated or oily, or especially if it’s a hot day and you don’t want layers coating your skin. It’s a non irritating hydrating gel that’s good for your skin barrier My skin can be very sensitive at times, and I had no problems with this.

Before i used this product I used the Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser first. I used the product every Morning and Night over my face and neck in my facial routine avoiding contact with my eyes.The product was in a easy access screw lid container. It felt very cool and hydrated to my dry and rough sensitive skin. My skin is always usually really dry after using a face cleanser and this product felt like it put moisture bake into my dry and rough sensitive skin. I have skin allergies and usually have a rough dry patch under my nose and have tryed so many moisturisers with no success. The Opitamal Hydration Skin Replenishing water gel did exactly what it said it would do help defend against skin sensitivity weakened skin mositure barrier, Dryness, Roghness, Irritation and tightness.I used the product for the trial period and my dryness under my nose had improved very quickly I have finally found a product wroth buying that soothes skin amd deepens dynamic hydration increasing water content into the skins mositure barrier sealing the mosisture back into my skin.Would deffintely reccomended to Family and Friends to add this product into the Morning and Night Routines.

This moisturiser or water gel as it’s labeled is so light weight you don’t even realize you have put it on. It glides so easily over my skin and doesn’t leave any sticky residue behind. This definitely kept my skin feeling hydrated, without being greasy or tacky in any way. For someone with dry skin, this was really effective. The product was easy to use and absorbed easily and efficiently. My only concern was that the packaging makes the product size look larger than it actually is. Regardless, I'd still recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable moisturiser option, particularly for dry skin, and can't wait to continue using it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by S Z. from Lightweight hydration [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Skin Replenishing Water Gel is a fantastic lightweight yet deeply hydrating and nourishing face moisturiser. The water gel texture has a cooling and soothing feel on the skin and the formula just melts into the skin for quick and easy application. It absorbs into the skin really well and leaves no residue on the skin. Instantly my skin felt more hydrated and smooth. After weeks of use, my skin looks and feels more hydrated, plump and soft. I think this is a great product to hydrate the skin in Summer when you dont want any skincare that is heavy on the skin but still want a great level of hydration.

I think it is aesthetically pleasing and looks high end! I’ve been using this after the cetaphil hydrating foaming cleanser and it just makes my skin feel so good and refreshing these two items are like a match made in heaven! And will be in my daily skincare routine forever now! Love the price and love the product availability! I recommended this product to all my friends and family, and hope that they love it as much as I do.

The formulation is light but it leaves a nourishing coat on my skin when applied. I find you only need a little scoop each time and there is enough to cover my entire face. There is no fragrance and the viscosity tends to be a bit runny. This is probably not thick enough for colder weather and seasons but I will likely be reaching for this for all other seasons. I have noticed from consistent use after a few days that my skin is less parched than usual and this is also a lovely base for makeup during the day as well. The price is great for such an efficient no frills but effective product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Abeera f. from Perfect summer moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful everyday moisturiser which leaves the skin so hydrated and moist … perfect for summers as well as winters .. i loved using it day as well as night too following all my skincare as a last step in skincare routine .. its a gel like consistency which is not heavy but absorbs quickly without leaving skin sticky and tacky.. it would also suit oily skin as well as it doesnot feel too oily .. skin feels so plumped and hydrated .. perfect to wear under makeup as well.. loved the packaging as well.. highly recomend it to all .. love it

The packaging is beautiful and feels quite high end , from a low cost product. This is a very light formula that goes onto the skin with ease. It feels very silky and sinks into the skin easily. My skin felt fresh, hydrated and plumped. It was a great formula undrt my makeup and i didnt need a primer when using this formula (though drier skin types might). Cetaphil formulas are great as they do not have most of the common allergens making them great for most people!

It is lightweight and i love that it is oil free which means it will not clog my pores. My skin feels soft and supple after applying. It comes in a cute little pot which is easily accessible. I use it morning and night after cleansing my face. I also love that it contains hyaluronic acid and niacinamide in it as i have heard they are great ingredients to have for face moisturisers. I would gladly recommend it to all my family and friends.
