Directions for use
Brush thoroughly at least twice a day, for at least 2 minutes or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water.

Directions

The texture of the bubbles was certainly very different at first but still on hot used to it. Could be a little mintier in flavour. Overall I found it to be a grat cleaning toothpaste.

While it did foam up it didn't create a heap of foam. My teeth felt very clean using this toothpaste

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing to sing and dance about [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who takes dental hygiene very seriously, I was excited to try the new Colgate Plaque Release toothpaste. Love the packaging, makes the product feel expensive but that’s as good as it got unfortunately. I felt the toothpaste had a really odd taste, like minty sunscreen. This lingers in the aftertaste until you eat or drink something. When brushing it starts to foam quickly which is good, but the foam is very thick and not that airy foam I’m used too with other Colgate toothpaste. After using for a week, twice a day with flossing, I didn’t see a noticeable difference with my teeth or gums. I will, however, keep using the product until my next 6 monthly check up at the dentist and see whether she notices a difference, especially with plaque build up around my fixed retainer on my bottom teeth. At this stage, wouldn’t recommend to family and friends but will see in a few months time.

It's supposed to foam up but I found it too much and the taste was not so minty fresh. I can't describe what it is like except to say that it's not what I have ever tasted in a toothpaste. Not a bad product overall and especially if it delivers on its plaque fighting benefits, but it is probably not for everyone. Try once for yourself and see how you like it.

Unfortunately this toothpaste left me quite disappointed! The toothpaste does a great job at making my whole mouth feel fresh and clean but I just can’t get past the aftertaste. It tastes like I just ate a bar soap which is not something I want to taste twice a day. I didn’t notice that taste whilst brushing, it’s just an after thing but unfortunately that means I will not be purchasing this toothpaste in the future.

I wouldn't buy it in place of my regular choice but I would still recommend it, it has a nice refreshing taste and does leave the mouth feeling fresh and clean.

The toothpaste had a very strong minty smell and taste, much like spearmint chewing gum. Nice but I don't need artificial flavours in my toothpaste, the more natural the better. It felt ok on my teeth and gums and I have sensitive teeth. I cracked a tooth during the week testing it and had a temporary emergency bond put on my back tooth. I found this toothpaste was soothing and didn't affect my sensitive gums at all. I'd need to try it longer to get the full benefits but worth giving a go.

I do like the clear lid, makes it look fancy. I would prefer the lid that clicks on & off though rather then removing the entire lid. That way you can do it one handed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blue and Red Particles? Pros: Definitely foams differently to regular Colgate Total and teeth feel clean. Cons: Natural mint flavour is "interesting". Much prefer the regular Colgate Total taste. The see through cap seems unnecessary. Strange red and blue particles in the paste, which don't dissolve and are still in the foam when spit out. I can only assume they are "microbeads" added for "aesthetic" purposes, which again seems unnecessary in toothpaste... TLDR: Regardless of how good the "plaque release" actually works, you are still paying extra for a fancy cap and some multicolored microbeads.

The aftertaste stayed with me and on my toothbrush till the next morning. The tube may have been nice but that dose not make up for the flavour. I do not recommend this product
