Directions for use
Brush thoroughly at least twice a day, for at least 2 minutes or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water.

It’s a nice consistency, the mint flavour isn’t overpowering like some. It leaves my teeth and gums feeling clean. The product can get quite frothy after some brushing which is something to be aware of. As for the claims of plaque release I can’t vouch for that but my gums were less susceptible to the occasional bleeding.

It doesn't have a big mint taste, which I would of liked and it also comes with a screw top lid which I would prefer a flip top cap for faster process. Overall its a good toothpaste and I would definitely buy again and use on a daily basis.

It definitely has a reviving cool mint flavour that is not overpowering and hard to stomach. The packaging gives this toothpaste an air of sophistication that also makes it enjoyable to use. While I have only been using it for a week I am unable to comment on plaque build up changes but I hope to see some changes in the future with my continued use.

I haven't seen my dentist since using it so I can't really attest to its impact on plaque, but I do find that it leaves my teeth feeling clean, and my breath smelling nice through the day. The flavour is unique, a lot more mellow and less intensely minty, while still being fresh, which I really liked! The packaging is also really nice and feels a bit more luxe than everyday toothpaste. The larger sized twist top is a convenient feature

The toothpaste is easy to apply to the toothbrush as it comes out easy and has a little sparkle in the clear blue paste which the kids love. So could be an added incentive for kids to use when they are old enough to use adult toothpaste. It has a refreshing subtle taste that isn't overpowering for those sensitive to a strong mint, yet it still leaves your mouth feeling refreshed and clean. It does foam up a lot, though, but it feels amazing on the teeth and gums. I would recommend and use this product again.

I liked the slight foam it had; felt like it really cleaned the mouth beyond just my teeth. Also like the the tube was recyclable- felt this was a great feature. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars as it didn’t have any distinctive whitening qualities; this something I look for when purchasing toothpaste. Make it whitening, and I would buy it.

I noticed a slight grittiness in the texture, which wasn't a dealbreaker. I don't find that my teeth feel quite as clean using this toothpaste as with my regular one - and I have tried with both a manual & electric toothbrush.

I can't work out yet whether it provides a better result in reducing plaque bacteria. It does provide a good cleaning feel. It takes a while for me to get used to the 'Reviving Cool Mint' taste. The toothpaste colour and the tiny sparkles and the tube does make it feels different than a usual toothpaste. I will provide an update once I have finished the entire tube.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colgate Total Plaque toothpaste review [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this arrived, I wasn't sure how this would go but after using it for the last 7 days, I found it to be midly refreshing, helped with releasing plaque build-up, along with the cleansing foam without an aftertaste. While it did take some time to get used to the flavour, it was worth trying this and being a well-known brand, that helped. If I was to purchase it again later on, I would recommend doing so as it is a premium brand and type of toothpaste. Worth it. I would like to thank HomeTesterClub allowing me to trial this Colgate toothpaste, giving me the opportunity to try something different.

I do however prefer the mint taste of other Colgate toothpastes, with this toothpaste tasting rather different. I also prefer a flip lid on my toothpastes instead of a screw-on lid.

It creates a lot of foam, if I accidentally put slightly too much on my brush I had more than I could hold in my mouth. Leaves teeth and mouth feeling clean and the foam makes sure that your whole mouth is washed. Overall I really liked it. The only negative is that it's not for sensitive teeth.

My teeth can be sensitive at times and this gave no pain. Taste is more like a spearmint as opposed to normal mint. Personal peference is a normal mint taste. Leaves a fresh clean feel in the mouth. Not sure about affects on plaque probably requires longer use.
