General Information

Made using 100% recycled polyester, the Manicare® Eco Exfoliating Gloves are a reusable body exfoliating product made with environmentally conscious materials to support your skin health with the planet in mind.

Infused with antibacterial and mould resistant fibres, which help to reduce bacterial spread, for better hygiene. Ideal to use with your favourite body wash to invigorate and massage the skin. Gently massage, cleanse and exfoliate dead skin cells on your body, to reveal soft and glowing skin. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

This product comes in various colours. We cannot guarantee which colour you will receive as products are selected at random for online orders. For a specific colour, we advise purchasing in-store.

Directions

Moisten gloves in water, apply cleanser, soap or bath gel and gently massage skin in a circular motion. Use whilst bathing or showering.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beginner's tool to exfoliating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After owning and trialling different type of exfoliating gloves from different brands, I always go back to Manicare's gloves. They are the perfect in between of not too harsh that would irritate the skin but effective enough to see results. I find that having two makes the process quicker and more efficient. They last a long period of time compared to other brands on the market. I also like that they are recyclable as well. I find I can use them on a daily basis without my skin drying out. Overall they are a great product

The less well made ones can harden up after a few uses and have to be thrown out because they are too abrasive on the skin. The Manicare Eco Exfoliating Glove has been great so far, I'm pleased with the way my skin feels and looks after using it, it certainly feels smoother and there's no discomfort from the exfoliation. It's comfortable to wear and easy to get on and off, which is good because if I'm using it in the shower I'm not wasting water fiddling with a glove that's stuck or I can't get the fingers right. The Eco aspect is an added bonus, and it makes me feel better about buying and using this type of skincare product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean and exfoliated skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving the product I was skeptical on how effective the gloves will be on my skin as I do have very dry skin and previous similar products have not been as effective. They were great to use in the shower as I could quickly apply it to my skin without much effort. They were really easy to store and they were quick to drive. I noticed that not all of my skin was exfoliated and it took a few more times to make sure I had no dead skin cells. You could also use with body soap to speed up the efficiency or use as another body loader. Overall it was a good experience

What I like about this product is that it does what it says it will. No frills, no bells and whistles – just a good pair of exfoliating gloves for smoothing rough skin, and helping remove flaky patches and even out bumps. I have sensitive skin, so I don't use them every day – a couple of times a week, max – and I don't apply too much pressure when using so as not to irritate my skin. I use with my regular body wash (which is for sensitive skin) and have had no dramas. I also love that they are eco-friendly – not that you notice that when using lol, but I love a sustainable product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good option for exfoliating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gloves offer a super convenient, easy to use option for an in-shower exfoliation. The gloves are made from a recycled polyester which offers superior sustainability. The idea is that you wear the gloves on your hands while showering or bathing and use wherever you require exfoliation: areas of thickened or dry skin, in preparation for hair removal, in preparation for tanning, etc. I loved that the gloves gave me flexibility and accuracy over my exfoliation - I was able to get into every crevice and those hard to reach places! It offers good exfoliation, I would say a 4/5 compared to the 5/5 of a more roughly textured tanning exfoliation glove. I did find the gloves slightly tight and difficult to get on in a hurry - but I do have extremely large hands! I also would have liked the addition of a little loop coming off the wrists to be able to hang them off a hook to dry, rather than hanging over the top of the shower. Overall, these are a good option for exfoliating. I do like that there is one for each hand - this is actually quite a time saving feature as you're able to cover twice the amount of surface area, as compared to a single exfoliation item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Manicare eco exfoliating gloves [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gloves are great! They fit well, are easy to get on and stay on while using. They are also easy to rinse clean after use. I used them in conjunction with my favourite body wash and I found that they foamed up well. They are made from 100% recycled polyester and are infused with anti-bacterial and mould resistant fibres, which claim to reduce bacterial spread for better hygiene. I don’t know how scientifically accurate these claims are, but they sound good to me. The gloves are seriously exfoliating, very little pressure is required to get silky smooth skin. As they are gloves, they are super easy to use and get a thorough exfoliation. I will definitely continue to use these and would recommend them to anyone looking for a no nonsense manually exfoliating product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exfoliating Gloves [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these gloves in the past so I was happy to get them as a part of the Manicare Crystal Hair Remover Trial Team. I used the once a week with my favourite body scrub and the results have been amazing, before using these when I did any kind of hair removal I was always getting a few ingrown hairs, but since using these I have not had one ingrown hair. The gloves themselves feel nice and soft and using them in conjunction with my body scrub my skin was left feeling soft and smooth. These will definitely become part of my weekly routine.

All you have to do is slip them on as they are gloves and glide them all over the parts of your body that need exfoliating. They are fantastic as a pre treatment for before you do a hair removal as they get rid of any dry skin that may get in the way of the process, but they are also fantastic for after having shaved. I always find that i get ingrown hairs especially under my arms after i shave. I out this product on and glide it over the area and it not only gets rid of any ingrown hairs, but prevents me from getting more of them. I find that my skin is a little bit sensitive, but it doesn’t take a lot of effort or force to get the results.

I would use this in the shower usually the day or two before a shave. The texture of the gloves is excellent and really encourages a deep exfoliation. Found my skin to be silky smooth after! Lather on moisturiser after use for satin like feel. Would always leave the gloves out to dry fully after use - does take a while to dry out. Great product - unsure if I’d use this long term however, can be a little fiddle. would be interested to compare this to a cream exfoliant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy and quick exfoliators [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These exfoliating gloves are designed to make exfoliating more convenient and faster. I really liked the ease with which you can use these to exfoliate your whole body. Some exfoliating sponges are hard to grip and either there isn't much surface to exfoliate because you're holding onto it, or you drop the exfoliator when it's soapy. These gloves solve those issues and make the job so much faster. While they exfoliate skin so that it was smooth afterwards, they are also not too abrasive to be irritating to my skin. I also love the fact that they are made from 100% recycled content, particularly from textiles which is such a problematic material with so much going to landfill. It's such a great thing that companies like Manicare are taking action to change their business practices to be more sustainable, and we as customers can show our support for these actions by selecting products like these over traditional unsustainable products.

It's an easy to use product that is best for a grab and go, it takes off tan really well and does the job. I would describe this as the entry-level exfoliator. There are plenty of bougiee-er products on the market that you could choose from but this is a tried and tested way. It will always work and get the job done. It's also great for really scrubbing off tan or areas that need that extra pressure. Because it's on your hand you can really scrub where other products might slip or not grip as well this one will.

Most exfoliating glovevs are to quite large and when you have smaller hands it makes them very hard to use. If the gloves are to big they slide around every where when you're using them making it difficult to properly exfoliate. The Manicare® Eco Exfoliating Gloves fit small hands great! Making it super easy to use them. I'm not a massive fan of exfoliating gloves as they can feel a bit suffocating but these are comfortable. Thin and quick drying you can rinse and dry these a few times before having to put through the wash.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit too rough on my skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Manicare Eco Exfoliating Gloves is great for someone with lots of dead skin cells and uneven skinton (for example, usually for people who doesn't do exercise and don't clean themselves up well.) I can see the obvious result when i try it on for the very first time, but I find it a little bit too rough on my skin after using it ore regularly (weekly basis). probably I would recommend people to use it once a month (probably not weekly/forenightly); especially someone who doesn't have lots of dead skin cell. Please do not use it every day as it will make your skin become more sensitive and vulnerable. please put on cream afterwards everytime you use this product would maximise the benefit of using this product.

They are not to harsh, and leave the skin feeling very clean, fresh and not too dry. They seem able to make a small amount of body wash go a long way. The problem I did have with the Manicare Eco Exfoliating Gloves, was finding somewhere for them to live whilst drying. I do not have a large shower, I think some hooks on the outside would work, just need to arrange. Overall I would recommend the Manicare Eco Exfoliating Gloves to others.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from a little to harsh for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of a trial team and used it in conjunction with the exfoliating body sponge and the crystal hair remover. I found these exfoliating gloves to be a little too harsh for my skin, especially when used in conjunction with the other products. I would feel very dry on the days that I used them and I felt like I was using more moisturizer than usual. The gloves were comfortable to use, fitted my hands nicely and were easy to dry and store. I think I will use them but not as regularly as the instructions suggest.
