The Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge is a surprising little creature. It's fuzzy and almost doubles in width when wet. It picks up alot of product that doesn't ever seem to wash out of the thing but I think the little bristles helped give product a more smooth and even finish. I only spot conceal on my face and it works wonders. If you don't mind that it feels like you are putting makeup on with a mouse the Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge is actually a good buy for people who are accidentally to heavy handed with product. Just remember to give the sponge a very thorough wetting before hand.

I used it with the Manicare Biodegradable Makeup Blender. I tried this dry and also wet, depending on what coverage look you’re after. The foundation can be applied with ease to the bigger sections of the face, such as the forehead and cheeks, using the rounded base, for the easier-to-reach areas, around your nose and eyes, can be reached with ease thanks to the triangular, pointy top. Easy to clean after every use and dries very quickly. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I've tried a few before from different brands but I find them hard to use and providing uneven coverage for my foundation. This product really helped with blending into my dry skin and weird pore coverage and felt really nice going on. The result was better coverage and nicer feeling, plus I think it might have made my makeup stay on longer. Really nice to play with on skin and theres no weird, funky smell that I've seen before, also tried it on bare skin and it feels so nice.

As a result, I received numerous compliments on the appearance of my skin. I tried this dry, but it gave me a very full coverage look, which isn't something I typically go for. The foundation can be applied with ease to the bigger sections of the face, such as the forehead and cheeks, thanks to the rounded base, while the easier-to-reach areas, such as the area around your nose and eyes, can be reached with ease thanks to the triangular, pointy top. Just a little warm water and mild soap were all that was needed for the clean-up.

It has a very soft velvet-like finish but is quite firm and not too squishy. I love the cute purple pastel colour. It doesn’t soak up too much product like some other cheaper sponges, and blends liquid foundations perfectly, giving a flawless finish. I love the shape of it too, as it makes it very easy to blend around the eye and nose area. The sponge is easy to clean, and product residue washes off simply with soap and water. I think the price is a little steep, as I’ve tried a very similar product which is about 2/3 the price of this one.

It actually made my makeup look quite flawless and gave me really good coverage. It helped to blend and set my powder, which made my makeup last longer throughout the day. I love the feel of the sponge itself; it's so soft and really picks up and applies powder quite well, especially loose powders. The best thing about it is that it doesn't make you use too much product. I honestly have to applaud Manicare with being so creative and creating a tool that makes my makeup application quick, easy and is gentle on the environment.

It is easy to apply makeup and provides such an even, flawless application. I find the microfibre texture does not hold too much excess product after being cleaned unlike other beauty blenders. This sponge worked really well with a variety of products from foundation, to concealer to cream blushes and bronzers. The pointed tip makes application around the eye and nose very easy. For the price I would highly recommend this product.

I find that I use this one the most of all my sponges. I like to use it wet to apply foundation but also find it incredible to use dry to apply my finishing powder and liquid blushes. The shape of the blender allows for an even glide and finish with product and gets into my face shape and venom every time with little effort. A fantastic all rounder sponge. It is sooooo soft and squishy and feels amazing against my skin. So easy to clean as well and dries easily between uses . A definite recommendation from me. This is the sponge we all need .

This is such a unique sponge, and I was a bit worried about whether or not it would work for me. But boy does this do wonders! I use this damp for powders and it gives such an airbrushed finish to my skin. I get so many compliments when I set my face with this sponge, it doesn’t make the powder look cakey, even when using it to set liquid or cream foundations. It gives a very natural yet perfect finish and I have been blown away by the results. I’m yet to use it with liquid foundation but I’m sure the results will be the same. This is a GAME CHANGER! Highly recommend!

I didn't expect much from this sponge but was blown away at how it applied my setting powder without creasing or caking. It is easy to control the amount of powder using the sponge dry and the shape allowed me to get into my eye and nose creases easily without any powder settling. I keep this with me through the day to apply blotting powder and it keeps shine away without adding too much additional powder on my face.

I was sceptical about a microfibre sponge as I had used one previously from Mecca that didn't last and soaked up a lot of product. This is nothing like that! It's the perfect shape - very easy to apply foundation around the eyes and nose which can sometimes feel clunky. The texture is so soft yet doesn't absorb lots of product. I use it to apply my cream/liquid foundation and it goes on a dream. I also find I use less setting powder when I use this sponge because it leaves a really nicely balanced matte/dewy finish.

The Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge promises a. streak free make-up finish perfect for those using a powdered make-up. This is my jam. As someone who prefers to use a powdered mineral make-up I was so excited for this product. The product design facilitates easy blending on cheeks, buildable coverage over imperfections and smooth application to those more difficult locations like under the eyes. It doesn’t hold onto your product minimising wastage.I would highly recommend over traditional brush applications for coverage that would rival liquid foundation.

I don’t powder that often and I definitely haven’t used a sponge with this same shape before. However I have been trying this sponge out and it works really well at giving a nice even, flawless finish. The sponge itself is super soft (literally like velvet as per its name) so it’s just lovely to use on your skin. If you like to apply powdered foundation then I’d recommend this sponge for sure! Would be great if it was made of the biodegradable materials that some of manicures other products/ sponges are made from.

The velvety microfibre texture was different to what I was use to compared to my other blenders but after using it over the last few days i was in love. The sponge absorbed my foundation well and was very easy to blend with the previson tip and slanted edge. My makeup felt natural with an airbrush finish. I was able to use it with both my foundation and powder. I would highly recommend and love this new discovery!

Firstly, I’d like to say how gorgeous this felt on first application on my skin. It states that it’s most suited to powders. As I was keen to give it a go, I dug out my one and only powder foundation as I’m more of a liquid gal and I was really impressed at how smooth the application was. My skin was left looking flawless to say the least. Really easy to clean also so have decided that this is my go to sponge for powder application from now on. Great job Manicare big thumbs up from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Velvety Soft Sponge [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Manicare Velverty Microfibre Sponge for about 3 weeks and was very happy with the finish it gave my powder based make-up. The sponge is super soft with a velvety texture. It is shaped with a round base, precise tip and slanted edge. I mainly used the slanted flat edge. I preferred the look it left when used dry. I used it to set my make-up with translucent powder. It left a soft velvety airbrushed texture to my make-up. I used the flat slanted edge to press my translucent powder on top of my liquid foundation, the finish was brilliant. I did not try it with powder blush (I do not own any) but I can imagine the soft rounded end would work really well with a powder blush. I also used it with my liquid foundation, however I preferred the finish of the Manicare Biodegradable Make-up Bender in this regard.

I've never used a sponge as part of my make up application and was so surprised at how much I liked this. I used it with my BB cream and it gave such a flawless finish. I like the velvety feel of the sponge and that it was really easy to clean. It also helps me to use less product which is a huge win in my book. I can't find anything to fault this product, it worked really well and I'm impressed how much better my face looks after using this as a make up applicator.

But i was wrong. it felt super soft and spongey. I tried the Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge with make up and I tried it with powder. I must say the Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge sets the powder so well, but it also blends the make up well. When washing he Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge, its super easy and dry's fast. The texture and material feels like it will las a while. I recommend the Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge to people who have all sort of skin conditions.

I used this sponge to blend my contour and highlighter. It gave very even finish without leaving any cakey marks. I also tried it to set the make up using loose powder. I was amazed by how flawless the finish was! It offer’s really soft touch touch to the skin. I have highly sensitive skin and often avoid using products that could further irritate it. However, I would definitely recommend this product to someone having a sensitive/ acne prone skin. Worth a try!

I used this could of different ways, first was with foundation and the glide was crazy, so even and so smooth and what great it’s such an even spread on the face ! I also used it to clean my face with my cleanser and the feel was just beautiful on the skin. I really cannot fault this and now it’s a must have ! Absolutely love it 🥰 So if your looking for a sponge that is able to be used in different ways, well this is the one for you !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Velvet Microfibre Sponge [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so this was my favourite out of the whole lot to be honest, the fact that it was velvet did get me a bit, it did capture me though when it said works well with a powder application. So I got testing-with my Nude by Nature loose Powder which is my go to every single day, I am usually a Powder brush gal-but WOW! I actually love it-love the fact that powder applies wonderfully-doesn't stick on the sponge, just a easy application all over. For me, I don't like that heavy powdered look-so year 2000's! so just a nice little dab dab works well. I will definitely keep this little guy handy in my beauty drawer:) Washes off well

The sponge allows flawless application of makeup, and easy building of the product depending on my needs. It glides easily over my skin without uncomfortable pulling. The result is a professional looking finish - from weekend glow to weekday work look. My skin feels and looks smoother than it ever has before. I find the sponge doesn't waste my makeup product and it saves the otherwise messy application with fingertips. So impressed with the ease of application and beautiful finish of my makeup.

This sponge is easy to grip and distributes the foundation with ease. It results in easy application and an even finish. I found that I used less foundation with this sponge application than using my finger tips alone. Cleaning the sponge is as easy as warm water and soap. I highly recommend this product.

I have tried a lot of brands and this manicure one is great value for the price and applies all foundation really well. It has a great texture and picks up product really easily including liquid foundation and solid powder. I just dampen it and apply, too easy, it gives a really flawless even finish that looks quite professional and never thick or cakey, it spreads really evenly and is super easy to rinse clean then leave to dry. I love that it makes applying foundation so quick, it’s a winner for me

I loved trialing Manicare Velvety Microfibre Sponge. It has a velvety touch, I used the bigger part to apply on ma cheeks, forehead and neck. The pointy tip helped a lot while applying under the eyes and nose area. Overall I like the feel and the look that it gives to my skin. The skin is glowing, application is even and it is not flaking. My make up was able to blend in really smoothly and loved that the sponge was decently firm and not too soft. As someone who usually blends with fingers and brushes and has never used a microfibre sponge to apply make up to my face, it makes me want to start using one for every application. The best thing is that it’s easy to use and makes the end make up result look nice and blended. Would definitely recommend for a lovely velvety make up finish.

The microfibre texture seems to prevent the sponge from absorbing too much product and it smooths out the finish of foundation really well. This sponge isn't biodegradable like Manicare's other new make-up blender but I think it's still a great addition to any make-up kit. I hope the price is reasonable because I would definitely purchase this again and again. I would also recommend this product to others.

I therefore got many of remarks on how nice my skin looked. The rounded base of the foundation makes it easy to apply to the larger portions of the face, such the forehead and cheeks, while the triangular, pointed top makes it simple to apply to the easier-to-reach places, like the area around your nose and eyes. The cleanup required only a small amount of warm water and mild soap. This Manicare Velvety microfibre sponge is fantastic. It feels so beautiful to touch the velvet. Even after several cleanings, this sponge maintains its shape nicely. When pioneering companies like Manicare reinvent the wheel while keeping costs down, I'm always amazed! Really, it is worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The velvety microfibre sponge was a different but welcome addition to enhance my makeup routine. On first application I really didn’t like the product as I found it different blend my concealer nicely with my foundation and left the area looking patchy. I decided to give it another shot, this time wetting the sponge first which worked a treat! I much prefer brushes to apply my makeup but I found when using this with concealer it felt less cakey as the day went on. The sponge felt soft and I’d recommend it as a good budget friendly sponge option.
