Directions

Wet blending sponge with warm water and squeeze out any excess water. Gently bounce on your skin for flawless, airbrushed results.

USAGE ADVICE

Use sponge wet or dry. For a lighter, dewy coverage, try using the sponge wet by rinsing sponge under water and squeezing out excess water before use. It will also help reduce foundation wastage. For more coverage, use blender sponge dry.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Sponge can be disposed of in a home compost or general household waste.

I use liquid foundation and usually apply with my fingers, so using this beauty blender I noticed immediately that the product sat a lot nicer on my skin and stayed much better through the day, even during summer heat. The blender needs a little bit more foundation compared to using my fingers, but the effect is worth it. You can control how much you apply and I love how easy and smooth application is using the blender. Cleaning is easy and the blender doesn't cling to product so can be rinsed and dried quite quickly.

I really enjoyed using this blender for my foundation, concealer and putty blushes! It cleans easily and is super easy to use. The extra added bonus is the cute colour! Honestly, SAVE YOUR MONEY and purchase this product, this item is for beginners to the most advanced! Manicare have done a great job and for it to be biodegradable is truly exceptional! Buy it, you won’t regret it! These would also make a great present (stocking fillers, for the gals/guys that love makeup and just in general)!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Take the earth friendly option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The allure of a more environmentally friendly alternative is always highly appealing however I recognise, for some that may be associated with a lower quality product. The Manicare Biodegradable Make Up Blender manages to combine the traditional beauty blender. Facets with love with better outcomes for the environment. The. Product is true to form, blending make-up evenly and effortlessly. There was no disintegration which was an initial concern. I’d definitely recommend to others looking and improving their make-up regime.

I was a bit sceptical at first with the fact that it's biodegradable and afraid it wouldn't be durable or last long. The texture was different to what I was use to compared to my other blenders but after using it over the last few days all sceptism went out the window. The sponge absorbed my foundation well and was very easy to blend with the previson tip and slanted edge. My makeup was not left streaky and cleaning was simple.

It worked easily and smoothly to apply face up on my face without making my face look patchy. It’s a soft sponge so went onto my skin smoothly and made applying the make up easy and stress free. It is lightweight and would be great for travel. I tried it dry and also wet the sponge applicator a little to see if that made the make up apply easier. Wetting it allowed the foundation to spread a bit more smoothly onto my skin. I rinsed it after use and air dried it and then it was ready to use again.

It's a beautiful colour and great size for its use. When damp, your foundation applies to the skin easily and spreads it out perfectly on the face and neck. It's also great with powder using the tip to get into the inner eyes and along the under eye area. It's gentle yet durable and will last a lot longer than the knock off brands. This blender will be an everyday item for me. Overall I like this product a lot and would highly recommend to family and friends.

First of all I really love the idea of this being a product that is biodegradable a big plus for me. Was really happy with the application of my liquid foundation with this blender. It created a flawless finish which is the result I wanted. Just as good as the more expensive ones out there but the draw card for me is the fact that once I’m ready to dispose it then I won’t be adding to landfill. Very easy to clean and maintain. Definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better for powders and a full coverage [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great beauty blender if you have a preference for these, very good quality, I can't see it flaking with further use. I like the fact that it is biodegradable but still soft and dense, the teal colour is nice as well. As for how the blender functions, the blender works well for both wet and dry products, however as with a lot of beauty blenders it does soak up a lot of the product during application. I also found it tricky to clean but not as challenging as some cheaper brands. With my foundation and concealer, it gave a nice finish that wasn't cakey. I feel it did better with powders and was easy to get a full coverage without much effort. It was also easy to hold and apply with the one flat side and pointy top.

I an always dubious about using make up blenders to apply foundation as they are hard to clean or break down after cleaning. Not being able to clean it increases the risk of getting acne. Given that it is biodegradable, I thought it might break down after cleaning it. Surprisingly, I used it for couple of times to blend my concealer and to apply my foundation! It works really well giving an even finish. I cleaned it by soaking it in warm water for five mins. It came out as brand new ready to use again. Would definitely purchase again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very loyal to my beauty blender and often find other sponges to be cheap and nasty compared to the original. I was drawn to the product as it claimed to be biodegradable - which concerned me whether it would break down after a couple of uses. I was impressed. The sponge is very soft and gentle on the skin. It applied my usual foundation without any issues. Gave a very even coverage. Used for a few days before cleaning and again was surprised as the sponge didn’t break or split on cleaning and didn’t hold onto much of the foundation when cleaned. Will be interesting to see how long it takes before it starts to break down. Will definitely repurchase in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beauty Blender- [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Manicare Biodegradable Makeup Blender- I like beauty blenders, I find them easy to use, practical and clean, so just as much as the Manicare one-I was excited to trial with my La Roche Posay BB cream, very similar to majority of beauty blenders to be honest, but a good texture-nice and soft, absorbed my BB cream well onto my skin and washes underwater well too to clean it. I do however like the slanted cut on it-I personally tend to utilise that slant alot in my makeup application. Beauty Blenders vs Makeup Brushes when it comes to application-a fierce competiton, but I think I will go with that lightweight flawless look a blender gives. A cute little addition to any girls makeup drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of the review crew to trial. i had recently taken sponges out of my routine after using them for some time, and was finding that i was getting a better finish with a big fluffy brush. It's an ok Sponge and does what it claims to do, i don't think i would purchase over a more high end sponge that i have used in the past. But for the price point it is fine and does what it claims to do. easy to clean when you have the right product to do so, but honestly, it's a sponge, nothing special.

Id like to say its economical as I dont need to put on that much of makeup product as it spreads it evenly and smoothly onto my face. I love how it is not too soft nor firm thus making the blending even and look flawless. This is a great product for me especially to those people who are a true fan of beauty blenders.

You could buy a few at a time and use them alternatively while been cleaned and not break the bank. I think you use less product by using a sponge so it’s pretty savvy in that way and the shape of the sponge is great, easy to hold and get in areas like under eyes. However, this particular sponge makes the application quite wet looking and not as blended as I like. would probably still prefer to use a brush when applying product.

I know Manicare have been around for years so I had pretty high expectations. It is velvety smooth, and the edges make it so much easier to get right in those hard to reach places. I used it twice on two different liquid products, but found that it soaked too much of the product for my liking. Great price point if you’re looking for a versatile cheaper option, but I won’t be reaching for it when I have other sponges I prefer more. Would I recommend it ? Yes to beginners or someone looking for a sponge that has a cheaper price point.

I didn’t quite get the perfect finish that I’ve had with other blending sponges. The only negative is that it is a bit too dense/firm for my liking, as I like my blending sponges a bit softer which makes it a bit easier to bounce the sponge on the skin when blending. I definitely prefer the original Beauty Blender sponge but this is a fairly mid-range dupe and gets the job done for an average price.
