Directions

Get the most of this serum by incorporating it into your skincare routine with the following steps:

Step 1. Cleanse to remove impurities and prep skin for serums.
Step 2. Apply 3-5 drops of Revitalift Clinical 12% Pure Vitamin C serum over the face and neck to visibly even skin tone, reduce pores and smooth pores.
Step 3. For additional hydration, layer with Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

Moisturise and apply an SPF with minimum 15 protection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overpowering Scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The claims of this product were exciting to see, however the scent that the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Vitamin C Serum has is so overwhelming that I struggled to overcome it to use it as often as I should. The serum itself has a nice thick consistency that absorbs and glides onto the skin. I like that it has both Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Salicylic Acid as they are great ingredients in skincare. I did notice that my skin felt smoother and a little brighter however the scent was just too overpowering for me to want to repurchase.

It’s affordable it is a nice consistency and spreads out really easily. On the other hand I highly dislike its scent and the dropper doesn’t work really well, I have notice the dropper issue with some other L’Oréal products too. In combination with my other skincare steps I’ve noticed this product after a few minutes starts gathering in certain spots around my face and almost looks like it groups in little clumps. It is definitely not a product for me but read the other reviews as more people have good experiences so I am not sure of it just doesn’t mesh with other products I am currently using.

The dropper can make it difficult to use the product when the bottle is nearing empty. Consistency of the serum was smooth and non-sticky but also hydrating and good for under make up, it didn't dry out my skin. It's a non-greasy luxurious texture. It can cause make up to pill if applied too thickly however, a little definitely goes a long way. Scent of the product was a bit strong for my liking, I prefer no perfume/scent in skincare products as it can cause skin irritation. The scent was not particularly a pleasing one.

It has a very overpowering smell which is quite off putting and the smell lasts for the whole day. It also caused pilling on my skin which I did not like. The product does have a nice texture and absorbed quickly into my skin. Although my skin felt hydrated, unfortunately I just could not get past the smell.

I used it as directed and about 1.5 weeks into trial I had small red dots on my face. I ceased using for about a week and started again but the scent was too strong so stopped. The consistency was nice though.

The scent was quite nice compared to other vitamin c products, however it left my skin feeling quite sticky and didn’t sit well under my makeup so I struggled using it during the day if I was going to work.

I've then used a face roller but it doesn't sink into my skin as nicely and then will create a film on my face and when rubbed it creates little balls. For the price I paid I wish it was better

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works well but has strong smell I don’t like Does actually brighten skin and minimise pigmentation however I find the smell quite strong personally and can’t use it regularly. Please keep in mind the product might cause initial burning and redness like it did for me for the first few days. If you can get past the strong floral/citrus smell it’s worth a shot. There’s a large amount in the bottle and you only need a few drops per application. Wait until it’s on sale for a good deal

Potentially a little brighter but all my acne spots were still there. It’s a light serum and was good to use both morning and night, however I didn’t get the results that I was hoping for, especially considering morning and night use as recommended. So this was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately I will not be repurchasing this product. I think I will be sticking to some sort or retinol in the future. I don’t think this was right for me. Acne prone skin, oily with acne scarring.

Right after I washed my face, I put the Revitalift Clinical 12% Vitamin C Serum on my bare face. I then put cream on. It started balling up, and the cream and the serum came right off. I tried different lotions and creams, the same thing happened. Very sad. I don't know what I can do with the rest of the 28mL. I have never had this issue with any Vitamin C before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good if you don’t wear anything on top of it First put it on and you think wow, as it leaves your face instantaneously smooth and soft but all of that goes out of the window when you put any other cream or makeup on top. Whether it’s a cream or foundation I am putting on, the serum starts to peel as I’m rubbing whatever I’m using on my face and I’m talking very lightly too. Then you’ve got little pieces of serum sitting there under your makeup. Every single time I have tried it thinking give it another go, i end up washing my face again and start from scratch without the serum.

Tried it on a number of days ensuring skin was dry both layering it with other products and on its own and all resulted in the same thing after a couple of hours of wear. Absolute waste of money.
