What are hair bonds?

Hair Bonds are protein chains found in the inner most part of the hair, the cortex. When hair is submitted to stress from colouring, styling or simply just brushing these hair bonds can break causing deep damage.

How do you treat broken hair bonds?

Elvive Bond Repair contains Citric Acid which helps build inner broken hair bonds. The molecule is small enough to penetrate deep within the hair to give back its original strength.


When should I use Elvive Bond Repair?

After the Bond Repair Rescue Pre-Shampoo and Shampoo, you can apply this conditioner from lengths to tips. Leave it on for three minutes, then rinse.

Other brands conditioners don't really do this for me, by this did. The product had a nice smell and a nice texture, not too thick or thin. My hairs texture was slightly changed by using this product, I think I will need to use this more to see better results

I always want my hair to feel super soft and slimy when I put conditioner in and I find this is a bit lacking with my hair still feeling a bit dry even when I saturate it. It definitely works well as part of the full set of products but I probably wouldn't choose it on its own. Smells very nice though!

I frequently swim in the ocean and chlorinated water, so my hair is quite susceptible to damage. I did find I had to use quite a lot of the product to penetrate through to the ends - it has a thinner texture than most other conditioners. However, I noticed my hair detangled very easily after using the conditioner, and seems a lot stronger and healthier since using it regularly.
