Directions

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good if you are wanting DIY dermaplaning [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these as part of the Best in Beauty trial team. I'd not had or attempted dermaplanning myself but I was pleasantly surprised by the results. It took a while to get the hang of it and find the right angle, especially with such sharp blades. I used these to tidy up my brows and for dermaplanning on the side of my face and what a difference. My make up went on so much smoother, I'd never realised how much 'fuzz' I had or how much it affected make up application. These blades are sharp though and a fair bit of practice was needed.

I have never been game to venture into eyebrow shaving, however since I received this product I thought I would give it a go. Please do not use on dry skin be sure your skin is well covered with a form of cleanser to act as a protective barrier. The three razors come with a cap, the razor is not very sharp and the blades precise. I did notice that the dermaplanning tool exfolitated my skin, so I use that all over my face once per week. I decided to stop use after three shaves as I found my brows grew back stronger as opposed to plucking. I lathered up my brows and precisely aimed to shape my brows. My brows are overplucked from the 1990s. Need I say more? This was challenging as I need glasses to see what I am doing as well. Always moisturise post shaving. After using be sure to clean and use the cover to prevent the tool from being ruined. I know lots of girls that use this product and love it, it’s just not for me. I have never received any sort of waxing or facial treatment before, so I don't usually use this kind of product. To shape my brows, I usually pluck because I have thin brow hair. The only thing that I found useful with this razor, was to shave off the little hairs above my top lip. They're only noticeable in the sun, but they are always embarrassing and impossible to see clearly enough to pluck out. I'm not a fan of using a razor elsewhere on my face though, and this product brings me a bit of anxiety. However, I can see how it would be a very popular product for those that know how to use it properly!

I received these and I must admit I was hesitant in using them as I haven't used they were handed a hold the blinds were a little sharp but because they were quite safe to use I didn't cut myself . I used it on my ei browse and a little bit to defuse my face it worked on my eyebrows But was left with some dryness on my face and I had to use hymphoid to restore back to its old self I personally wouldn't repurchase I like the idea and the ease of these but I don't feel comfortable with how dry my skin got afterwards. Totally recommend for people on the run or travelling as you don't need to pack all your different eyebrow stuff. I would not repurchase but totally recommend

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Irritating for my skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still unsure about these Schick Hydro Sill Touch Up Razors, which can be quite sharp if you use the wrong force. I don’t recommend this for people with sensitive skin as it is not gentle and can cause irritation especially if you use an alcohol based toner afterwards. I personally didn’t like this product as it caused irritation and the sharp blades scare me when I use it on my face. I would still prefer plucking my eyebrows and facial hair with tweezers as I feel more comfortable with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Felt a little strange to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually pluck my eyebrows and have had laser elsewhere but get the odd stray popping up. I tried these on my eyebrows and bikini area and they are good for a little quick touch-up. I did find they felt a little dry against my skin though, and I definitely felt they were better to use on my eyebrow area. I can't say I would regularly use them though. One thing I would warn is to keep them way out of reach of children. My youngest saw how pretty the colours were and reached for one. The blades are quite sharp.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfort in the feel of the handle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially, I did not know what to do with the Schick Hydro Silk Touch-Up Razor and I had to look into dermaplaning techniques. After reading about it, I tried this product as a patch test on fine body hair to see how the exfoliating and cutting of fine hair resulted. Unfortunately, I do not think this product is for me. I found that I had to press hard to see the razor do its job. This made my skin a bit sore and red which I did not like to see. I did not continue to try this on my face as I feel that my fair skin would become red. I think this product would suit people who may have facial hair and need a quick touch-up on the go. I give credit to the feel of the handle and its comfort in the hand while trying out this product. It would be lovely to see three different colours in the packet rather than just the two (blue and pink) given that there is three razors in the packet, so you don't get confused in the one that you are currently using. I do love using Schick razors for depilatory, but this product is not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very intrigued to tru the Schick Hydro Silk Touch Up razors after seeing similar products trending on TikTok. These razors are super cute in classic Schick style, but unfortunately that's where my positive feedback ends! I found these very difficult to use, and have heard similar things from friends as well. I couldn't quite get the technique down, and found these to be ineffective on the patch I tried them on. Please note that I don't have much on my face to shave in the first place though, so they might work more effectively for someone with a bit more facial fuzz!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient, easy to use and affordable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time to try the Schick Hydro Silk Touch Up Razor and I was fascinated by how versatile this product was. I have never thought of shaving off my fine hair or peach fuzz on my face until I came across this product. I follow the instructions on the pack which was super easy and simple to use. The micro blade was sharp enough to get ride of the peach fuzz but gentle on skin. I also try to shape my eyebrow and yep, it did the job well. Such as great tool for a quick fix and handy to carry in my makeup bag. Convenient, easy to use, handy and affordable. Nothing to fault.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for brow maintenance and touchups [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never tried a face razor before and received it as part of the Best in Beauty Awards. I mainly tried this to maintain my eyebrow shape and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. Highly recommend to slightly wet it before using to prevent any cuts or friction followed by an intense balm or moisturiser to prevent your skin drying out and itching. The precision cover was super handy and make sure to thoroughly dry it after use to avoid rust. Whilst I still prefer waxing for a more precise look, I'd recommend this if you prefer shaving or need some maintenance whilst travelling etc with no access to waxing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not too sure yet - to be really honest [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was only a week prior to attending BeautyHeaven's Best in Beauty Marketplace event, that I got my hands on two Revlon defuzzers; so you can imagine my excitement when this one was available to take home, and to therefore try out. In comparing this one to the Revlon counterpart; these facial razors (aka. defuzzers) are super light weight, and you get a plastic protector to help remove those little ingrown hairs underneath those eyebrows. It is working for the eyebrow on the left, but not on the right. One minute my face feels smooth, while the next my face feels rough. Do not underestimate those small blades, as they are quite sharp. Needless to say, I have removed a few hairs, yet as I know that I am still in the process of getting used to this product; the results are not the best. Better results come after you have cleansed, toned, and moisturised your face. It works better on a smooth texture. And it does not work to remove those stubborn dark chin hairs that pop out every now and then. You need tweezers for those still. That is why I am not too sure on this one yet. It feels like a little more trouble for a busy, tired, and time poor person right now. Thank you for the opportunity for trying it BH.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product at Beauty Heaven’s recent Best In Beauty Marketplace Event. I have not seen this type of product previously and was a little reluctant to use a blade on my face. There are three razors in the pack and they can be used for shaping your eyebrows, getting rid of facial hair and exfoliating your skin. Eyebrow shaping involved using the blade cover and this was less concerning for me. I normally wax my brows so, whilst the razor worked, the cycle time between treatments is shorter. Removal of facial hair was a little concerning due to the propensity of hair to grow back thicker than what it started as. I gave it a go however will reserve a decision on whether to use on an ongoing basis until the second treatment. In terms of exfoliation, that worked well (even though the blade made me nervous) except for some of the bumps which we effectively cut off and then had to heal. Overall, I see merit in the product for people more used to using facial razors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad for a peach fuzz remover As far as removing peach fuzz from around the face this is a pretty decent product, it feels nice in the hand & removes the hair relatively easily. But I found it doesn't easily give a very close shave like other beauty face razors in the past, and it also feels a bit more blunt. So it would be good if you're just new to face razors and are worried about cutting yourself, but overall I think I prefer other products. For around the brows the little precision cap was an interesting touch, it allowed for easy shaving between my brows, but I still didn't feel comfortable using it on or below the tail, I would still much prefer to leave that area till a later step to pluck the individual hairs with some tweezers instead of shaving that area so I get a cleaner final look. This comes in a 3 pack too, which is convenient to have in your beauty stash so you don't find yourself face shaver-less.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Product needs better instructions I did enjoy this product, I found from the results that my skincare worked better on my face and I didn't seem to need as much as the product wasn't getting caught on the hairs instead of being absorbed by my skin. My main concern is that the product doesn't include enough information and only show pictures of what you can do with the Touch-Up wand. I ended up having to youtube a video so I was able to use the derma pen option and actually know what I was doing so I wouldn't damage my skin. I still in the end cut myself (by accident) as it slipped from me and nicked my nose. My recommendation for this product would be to do some googling about how you want to use it to ensure that you're not going to damage your skin and if derma planning with the Touch-Up want, use a gel of some kind to help rather than just going straight onto dry skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product I have the privilege to try the Schick Hydro Disposable razor. The packaging is slim and beautiful in blue and pink. It can be used to shape eyebrows with its extra attachment for precise eyebrow shaping or to be used to remove fine hair and even exfoliate. It's quite gentle and easy to use and grip to touch up on areas that you don't want to over shave it (I would suggest on the more private areas where you don't want your hair grow back to be more coarse) If you are a beginner in shaving, I suggest using a shaving cream or lotion before shaving to avoid any cuts.It's very slim and easy to carry to even fit in a make-up bag. I would recommend it if you need a quick solution to shave instead of waxing or something less gentle than a skincare exfoliate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great peach fuzz remover and exfoliator I’ve been trialling Schick’s new Hydro Silk Touch Up disposable facial razors for a little while now. Schick’s new Hydro Silk Touch Up disposable facial razors are supposed to remove fine hairs all in the same time as exfoliating your face. It also shapes and cuts your eyebrows. It comes in a pack of 3 and each razor has glitter through it. The razor is shaped to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand making it easy to grip. Each razor comes with a protective cover and precision cover as well. The verdict: For me personally I didn’t find it easy to shape my eyebrows, even with the precision blade. Trying to grip up closer to the blade to precisely shape and cut the hair still didn’t help that well. You have to be careful as the tip of the blade is quite sharp and you can easily cut yourself. The thing that I like about the razor is the removal of peach fuzz of the face. This was the first time I have done this. Not only didn’t it remove the peach fuzz, it also exfoliated my face as well. I found it fascinating to see the tiny hairs that the blade removed as well as the dead skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just not for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Schick deems blades at the Best in Beauty event and I was very open with the BH staffer manning the booth that I had never been brave enough to try it! She was great and gave tips for use so I felt inspired to try them out. Unfortunately I am just not a fan! The problem isn’t the product, it’s that I don’t see a need for it. I’m just not bothered by the light hairs and peach fuzz on my face - I feel like we have enough hair to maintain and I can’t commit to adding another body part to the routine! Maybe if I was ten years younger and single I would be more inclined. I did try them out and the blades are very sharp, so you need to be exceptionally careful. I didn’t mind the immediate effect on the hairs on my upper lip, but overall I prefer to wax or pluck them as they stay gone longer. I’m sure these are good products if you are into dermaplaning, but they just aren’t for me.

Don't press too hard or else it will leave a cut/scratch. I am used to using an alternative battery operated face hair trimmer which require little effort. I think these touch up blades are good for when you are traveling. I didn't notice it having any exfoliating effect on my face. The cover is good to ensure the blade stays clean and also to protect your hands from any accidental cuts. I found this product easy to use for stray hairs above my eyebrows.
