General Information

Sand, sea and sun, the enviable Australian image. Enjoy year-round firm and glowing skin with Bondi Sands Skin Firming Gradual Tanning Lotion. For all skin tones, this nourishing body moisturiser contains a complex of Avocado Extract, Bentonite and Shea Butter to help firm and tighten skin and can be used daily to build a gradual tan.

Warnings

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. WARNING: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. KEEP OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN. Carry out a patch test 24 hours prior to use. Do not apply to damaged or inflamed skin. If irritation, redness or itchiness occurs, discontinue use. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed, get medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre right away. Keep away from eyes. If material accidentally enters the eye, rinse well with plenty of clean water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

Directions

Step 1 For an even, streak free tan, ensure your skin is clean and dry prior to application. Step 2 Apply Bondi Sands Skin Firming Gradual Tanning Lotion evenly to skin in a circular motion. Wait until touch dry before dressing. Step 3 Use daily for firm skin and to build a natural looking tan throughout the year. Wash hands after use.

I really liked this product as it leaves very small room for error with the tan as it is gradual so the final results look great! I could not find any downsides to this product!

Although I don't feel like I need skin firming products, I love the way this made my skin look flawless and felt tight without being uncomfortable, only nourishing. The colour is natural and buildable and I will be repurchasing when I run out. I was gifted a product sample to try and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big fan! Loved this lotion after just a few uses I could notice the tan and even had others commenting on how great my tan looked. The tan was the perfect shade of bronze (not even a hint of orange), didn't turn out streaky or patchy, didn't smell like fake tan and didn't seem to rub off (something I have experienced with other brands when I wear shin pads at soccer). In addition to the beautiful tan, it's such a smooth and nourishing moisturiser so you definitely get the two benefits in one. I've never been overly convinced by the firming ability of moisturisers, and I'm not sure if it's just due to having the tan, but my skin does look somewhat firmer. I'll definitely keep using this one! I was gifted a product sample to try and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth and glowy The skin firming lotion has become my new go to night time moisturiser. The colour is very natural and buildable but the product doesn't transfer onto sheets on clothes at all. I have found it safe to use on my face and the shea butter and avocado have my skin feeling very smooth after use. I have also tried the other products in this gradual tanning line and have found they all produce a beautiful, light and natural tan that is buildable and fades evenly. All three products can be used in conjunction. For flawless skin I use the firming lotion the night before, the illuminator in the morning and the skin perfecter before I go out. The lotions don't have the same classic Bondi Sands scent as the mousse tans so they are great if you prefer less fragrance. I am extremely satisfied with this line as it makes having a year round tan easy.

I liked that you could build up a gradual sun kissed look and also appreciated that it was very quick and to dry on the skin. I didn't find it stained any clothing and there was no distinct strong smell from the lotion. It didn't irritate my skin or clog pores so great for any skin type. My skin did feel a bit more firmer then usual. The packaging was sleek and easy to use. The instructions on how to use were clear and simple to understand. Lovely product and would recommend to anyone looking to trial out tanning, this would be a great introductory product to try!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A subtle, cocoa butter glow First impression: this smells divine. If you love a cocoa butter scent, this is for you. The formula is similar to a gel moisturiser, and spreads really easily. I found that it absorbed quickly and didn‚t leave me feeling sticky or tacky, but well hydrated. There isn‚t the classic fake tan smell - instead you‚re left with chocolately goodness! I really like that it developed a subtle glow throughout the day, which is easy to build up with consistent use. I washed my hands as soon as I had applied everywhere, and was happy to see that I didn‚t get any orange developing! I felt like I had to hear a lot of product to cover my whole body, however, which was a downside. By the end of the first day I could smell a slight ‚úfake tan‚ù scent, but only if I actually put my arm up to my nose. The colour seems to be good too, which is a relief! By the end of the day I was also still feeling moisturised, so that‚s a big plus too.

No streaks but also not much colour even after applying daily (sometimes twice a day) and using up the whole tube, I did not have much of a tan. Just enough to take the edge off being completely white. Fine if that's enough for you but not suitable if you are after a proper tan.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good gradual Tan This is a pretty decent gradual tan. It builds the more you use it but you need to be careful you apply it evenly. I find it to still have the usual tan smell which doesnt appeal to me but thankfully it is pretty inoffensive. I find I need to use a real moisturiser underneath it as it isn‚t particularly moisturising on the skin. I still like it and would use it but prefer other tans more.
