Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hmm [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately the Olay Regenerist Antioxidant Moisturiser wasn’t right for me :( I really did try to love it but I just couldn’t. There’s absolutely so way I could have used it during the day, it was very heavy on my skin. The scent was very overpowering and I don’t think it necessarily needed to be that strong. It’s my first time trying and Olay products and I wouldn’t purchase this specific product again. I feel I would need externally dry skin to benefit from this cream. I also feel it would be incredible for more mature skin, so I’m going to pass on what I didn’t use to my mum :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find that my skin can be a bit sensitive at times with certain creams but thankfully I had no reaction to this product at all which was great. However, I do feel the cream was thick and sticky when I first applied it. It did absorb well after a minute or two. It left my skin feeling soft and not dry the entire day. I used this moisturiser in conjunction with the matching serum. The fragrance is a little strong for my preferences. Overall, I did not feel any real change to the condition of my skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't do much for me sadly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trialled the moisturizer and serum together. The moisturizer by itself was okay. While it absorbed well enough, it didnt feel very hydrating and it somehow also made my slin feel a little more oily than usual. In combination with the serum, the texture was definitely impacted. It became somewhat gluey and didn't feel like it absorbed as well. Overall my skin was fine with usage, but I don't think i really experienced any of the benefits which were promoted on the package. To be fair, I suspect it takes a while to have any impact. Be aware that there is distinctive fragrance, which I didn't mind, but some people might not like that it is so heavily perfumed. While the red packaging looks quite nice, there is an inner lid which I struggled to get open a few times (like it was suctioned shut), which became pretty annoying after a while.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pleasant but basic [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for review and have trialed it for two weeks before writing this review. I have tried a number of Olay moisturizers previously and this one seems very similar. Olay, for some reason, love their jar packaging even though more modern airless pumps exist. It worries me that an antioxidant cream is sold in a jar. Surely this is degrading the quality of the antioxidants with each use? Anyway, the packaging is easy to use and sturdy, despite my gripes. The cream itself is rich with a soft pleasant scent that reminded me of something fruity. It matches the scent of the antioxidant serum but milder. It applies nicely to the skin and dries down quickly with a slightly tacky feel. Be careful not to use too much as it can feel too thick and filmy. It works nicely over other skincare products as well as beneath sunscreen and makeup during the daytime. It boasts a number of vitamins - C, B3 and E. I could not see what percentage of vitamin C it contains and considering the packaging again, I don’t feel like it’s enough to make a noticeable difference compared to dedicated vitamin c products. B3, aka niacinamide, brightens the complexion but again no listing of percentage and no noticeable difference to my skin when compared to a standalone niacinamide products. And as for vitamin e, it does it’s job here to soften the skin. Overall while I enjoyed using this product I feel like it is a basic moisturiser that doesn’t warrant the price tag. If you were considering this product then I would suggest shopping around for standalone skincare products that list their percentage of active ingredients or waiting for this product to go on sale.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nothing special [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trialed this moisturiser on my face, neck and chest area for 2 weeks. I only used this product at night as I found it didn’t sit nicely under my makeup. It had a strong sweet floral scent which was a bit too strong for my preferences. The moisturiser applied and rubbed in nicely however did leave the skin feeling which sticky and tacky which contributed to me only using it at night. After the 2 weeeks I didn’t notice and changes in my skin and although I will likely use the remainder of the product, due to the price point and lack of noticeable differences between this and other similar products I don’t see myself purchasing this in the future.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nothing exciting [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trialled this product for two weeks and I am not overly impressed. I only used it as a nighttime moisturiser as it is too heavy for daytime for me. I have oily-combination skin, and am almost 40. Firstly, the packaging. Almost no skincare should be packaged in a a jar. Olay should know better. Products can become contaminated with bacteria and ingredients can oxidise faster. As this moisturiser contains Vitamin C which is a volatile ingredient, packaging it in a jar is next to useless. Big thumbs down, Olay. I used this moisturiser in conjunction with the matching serum (which is thankfully appropriately packaged). Together, my skin felt nice, if not a little tacky for some time after application. The fragrance is a little strong for my preferences. But all in all, I haven’t noticed any chance in the condition of my skin from using this moisturiser.
