Swisse Glycolic Acid 8% Brightening Gel Cleanser removes impurities and makeup, while correcting uneven skin tone, texture, and dullness. Formulated with glycolic acid, it supports skin radiance by promoting cell turnover for those with age-related dullness. Glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (or AHA) that works to exfoliate the skin.

This particular wash worked great on my skin, leaving it feeling deeply cleansed without any irritation. I noticed that my skin looked brighter and clearer after using it regularly. However, it's important to note that since I'm accustomed to Glycolic Acid, this cleanser might have a different impact on someone who is more sensitive or not accustomed to using products with Glycolic Acid. Overall, I think this is an excellent option for the price. *I was gifted this product in exchange for my honest review*

I wouldn’t say it’s an outstanding difference so far but this may improve with further use. I’ve easily added this cleanser into my routine using day and night and it’s been great at removing any make up or dirt at the end of day. For the price I think this is a cleanser well worth purchasing and I hope with continued use my skin will continue to improve.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good cleanser for the price point This is a really nice lightweight gel cleanser. It foams up nicely and does its job at removing makeup quite easily. I did find I needed to use a little more product than normal, but for the price point and how much product you get it isn’t too much of a concern. I use this every evening and although I am yet to see any drastic improvements to my skin after 1 month just yet, it does make my skin feel really nice so I will definitely continue to use this as part of my routine.

Its fragrance is not too pleasant with a slight citrus scent and a pink colour gel cleanser. It doesn’t wash make up off very well so I usually wash make up off first and then cleanse with the gel cleanser. It makes your skin tingle initially but doesn’t last long. My skin looks the best it has looked in a long time. It definitely increases the skins cell turnover. I would recommend this to anyone who has blemishes or fine lines.

It definitely made my face feel cleaner, even after a layer of make-up was removed along with the dirt and grime from a day in the city. The packaging with the pump dispenser makes the product easy to use. The product has a nice smell to it which also made it pleasant to use. I can see this product being quite cost effective as you only need to use one pump so the amount available will last a long time. One pump gives you plenty of product to cover your face. After use, as well as feeling skin, my skin felt softer and more clear. Definitely one to be used again. I was gifted this product to trial and review.

It has a pleasant smell and I find the pump bottle design to be very convenient in the shower. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this interchangeably with my other cleansers since it's a relatively high percentage active ingredient face wash (glycolic acid) and I have sensitive skin. It's nice, it's gentle, it certainly doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It gives my skin a soft feel and gentle glow when I use it. I love that it's made it Australia and can say it definitely feels like the classic Swisse style products where it's reliable and backed by proper science. Not like some other beauty brands which rely heavily on marketing. The only downside I find with this one is it foams but not as much as I like, it's definitely no deal breaker though because I still love the way my skin feels after. Overall quite pleased and can't wait to see what other skin ranges Swisse comes out with!!

For the price, I would say this is a great little cleanser. It foams really well which means you only need to use a small amount each time, and it washes off easily. My skin definitely looked fresher and clearer, while having a smoother texture. I didn't experience any tingling which is common with glycolic based products, although I have used glycolic regularly in the past. The only downside was through this trial period, my skin did look more red than usual. I believe someone with rough texture, mild breakouts, or thickened skin, this could work fine.

My skin was left feeling quite dry and I didn't notice any improvement in my skin. It is reasonable price wise and a little bit definitely goes a long way. Only one pump needed. The smell is quite mild and not too strong. It did remove my makeup quite well but I didn't use it on my eyes to remove mascara as I didn't feel it was gentle enough.

The noted benefits included removing impurities and makeup, and I must say, it lived up to that promise. After a full day of wearing foundation and mascara, this cleanser quickly broke down and removed all traces of makeup, leaving my skin feeling clean and fresh. However, I found the inclusion of glycolic acid and AHAs were a little bit too strong for my skin. After each use, I noticed a slight stinging sensation, particularly around my cheeks and nose, and experienced some redness. While these ingredients are known for their exfoliating and brightening properties, they seemed a bit too potent for my sensitive skin. If you have more resilient or oily skin, this might not be an issue, but for those with sensitive or reactive skin types, it’s worth considering. Overall, great for makeup removal, but perhaps a little too strong for daily use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I read about this product I thought cool a good cleanser with added nourishment for my skin… this is a really nice cleanser, very user friendly. This cleanser does remove dirt and grime and make up which is great. I love that I’m getting the hit of Glycolic acid however do wonder how long it’s actually on my skin given the fact I wash this cleanse off? Not saying it’s not doing anything for my skin but I am curious about it.

It's brilliant at removing any left over makeup or grease on the skin and I do like that it makes my skin look clearer but the after feel hasn't been right for me. I didn’t like anything about it from the first time I opened the bottle. I found the smell unappealing and didn’t feel that it did anything for my skin. It’s not a product I would buy.
