Swisse Glycolic Acid 8% Brightening Gel Cleanser removes impurities and makeup, while correcting uneven skin tone, texture, and dullness. Formulated with glycolic acid, it supports skin radiance by promoting cell turnover for those with age-related dullness. Glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (or AHA) that works to exfoliate the skin.

It leaves the skin feeling glowing and soft. I'm a firm believer in the benefits of vitamin C (and take it daily) and with this product I can now use it on my face. Even though removed with water, my skin feels hydrated and soft. And it is Australian made!

It had a nice texture and lathers up well, but I do need to comment on the strange scent. It did effectively remove dirt and makeup, leaving my skin feeling clean. However, I didn't enjoy it enough overall to completely change from my usual cleanser. A good product to give a go! A good price point as well. Overall, it’s a decent product, but I think there are better options available.

I found it removed my makeup easily and it took about a week to improve my skins overall appearance. My skin tone evened out and it felt and looked much brighter & radiant. The only issue I had was at the beginning I have really dry skin and it seemed to dry it out a little to much especially around the eye area. But overall it was a really good cleanser, I love the packaging and the pump bottle as it was easy to use.

A little does go a long way as it effortlessly glides over your face. It's very esy to wash off and doesn't even dry out my face like some cleansers do. Overall I didn't feel it brightened my skin but it did feel fresh after using it.

It did help a little with my dark spots although not as much as I had hoped. But generally I would say that my overall face was brighter. It really did cleanse the skin well, I was impressed at how effective it was with getting my makeup off. Better than what I was currently using. My skin felt smooth and pampered and the texture was nice to the touch. I found that I needed 2 pumps of the bottle to do my face and neck. Overall I would recommend this product as a good cleanser for daily use.

As with any skincare, when i switch to another brand or product, I try to incorporate it into my skincare routine gradually so my skin can get used to it and not break out or react. Swisse Glocolic Acid 8% Brightening Gel Cleanser was no different and I eased my skin into this using it every few days and reducing the time in between slowly. The product claims to not only remove impurities and make up, but also improve the appeance of skin tone, texture and clarity, offering a brighter and more radiant skin. Although i wasn’t particularly impressed with how well it removed all make up, i did feel like my skin tone improved around week 3/4. It’s still early days to really know how effective and how well this product works, but so far little differences in skin clarity has been positive!

I've been using it everyday and it does a good job of getting rid of suncream build-up. The Glycolic acid helps keep my skin clear and I noticed my face was a little more radiant after a few weeks of usage. You only require a minimal amount of product, and it goes a long way so the bottle will last quite some time which proves to be good value for money. I also like the pump dispensing bottle packaging, I prefer this over squeeze bottles which makes it difficult to get the product out at times.

Definitely worth the money even if you just want to give it a try.

The gel cleanser is thicker than I’m used to but blends well into the skin and foams up slightly when I add water. I love the added bonus of glycolic acid for a gentle exfoliation. Also non drying but leaves my skin feeling clean.
