Directions

Gently massage into your scalp and work through from roots to tip. Rinse and repeat if desired. Use at least 3 times a week, with Head & Shoulder conditioner for best results.

I am so pleased that Head and Shoulders Supreme is free of silicones, colorants and paraben. I didn't notice a huge difference in my dandruff until the third wash with this product, but I have since been flake free. The scent, not chemically like a lot of anti dandruff products. I will continue to use this product, I give bonus points because although I have only used it for a short period of time, I feel like it hasn't stripped my hair colour, which I have found with other products in the past.

The product smells nice and lathers up well. You can definitely feel the cleaning factor of this shampoo, but my hair doesn’t feel dry so that’s pretty good.

The shampoo has a light, pleasant scent. It lathers up really well and washes nicely. Hair feels clean and fresh, but perhaps somewhat dry. This shampoo does a decent job but nothing super exceptional or luxurious. This is an easy, every day shampoo that does what it's supposed to do, but isn't overly special and doesn't do anything super amazing for my hair. I would maybe buy again as a regular shampoo but wouldn't go out of my way to search for it.

I found my hair looked shiny and healthy after each wash. After a week my hair also had more volume. I followed the directions to use 3 times a week but found it did not remove the flakes from my scalp even after 2 weeks of using it exclusively. The shampoo had a nice smell and texture which was appealing to use. I really liked the appearance of the bottle, it is nicely shaped and the colours were aesthetically pleasing

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very nice but not the best [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight off the bat, the shampoo packaging looks, the liquid smells, and feels beautiful. When applied to the scalp, the formula lathers very soapy and bubbly. This was a bit too overboard as I got a lot of bubbles in my face/ears but can just use less next time to avoid the extreme lather. Rubbing into the hair feels very smooth and nice. After using this on the first try, I found it very nice on the hair but also quite drying, leading to more frizz. I double shampooed as I have oily hair so that may be the cause of such dry texture after my hair dried out naturally. I would recommend this to some of my friends who have flakey scalp as I do however I probably wouldn’t purchase this myself do to this drying factor. It seems that it is too harsh on my hair and also contains sulphites despite its claims that it doesn’t.

It did work on the dandruff a little but my head and hair started to get a strong scalp smell the more I used it. It made my pillows smell the same. Nice initial smell but would not continue using it. Thank you for the trial though!

On the day I used it, my hair definitely had more volume than usual, but it also left my hair feeling dry. I loved that it had no sulphates, colourants or parabens added. I did have to wash my hair more frequently, but considering I never blow dry or style my hair with heat tools, it had heaps of volume. I would though recommend this product, if you are having dandruff issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little misleading I read the bottles and saw the conditioner is free from sulphates, parabens and colourants and the shampoo is free from silicone, colourants and paraben.I was so excited but with further reading/research I found that the shampoo contains suphates and the conditioner contains silicone. Very disappointing and honestly it seems intentionally misleading which I really disagree with.Not suitable for my hair type but a nice shampoo for straighter hair.

The product itself was nice on my hair upon application and for a few hours after, but later in the day I found my hair to become quite oily and look unwashed. This is not a product I would personally continue using.

I found this left my hair soft and shiny but by the end of the day my hair would begin to look oily. It didn't make a significant enough difference in my dandruff for me to continue use. This would be better suited to someone with normal or dry hair with mild dandruff.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good anti-dandruff shampoo without the bad scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Heads & Shoulders in the past and while they have worked well in the anti-dandruff department, I've always been turned off by the strong smell, so I was eager to give this updated formula a try. Shampoo lathers well and smells very nice actually! As a shampoo it performs well enough, without the scent that normal anti-dandruff shampoos normally posses. I did notice some improvement with dandruff but not enough that I would consider switching to this full time. My big concern is that while both the shampoo and conditioner are paraben free, only the shampoo is silicone free, and only the conditioner is sulphate free. This is slightly misleading as most shampoos don't contain silicone and most conditioners don't contain sulphates. You want your shampoo to be free of sulphate and conditioner to be free of silicone, not the other way around. Overall, a good choice for those suffering from dandruff who want a pleasant smelling shampoo.

I have long used Head and Shoulders to help with my dry scalp, but didn't find this as effective as other variants from the brand. Still gives an effective wash and my hair doesn't get greasy quickly. I like that it has less nasties than their previous variants, but disappointed after 4 consecutive washes, it doesn't seem to be really helping with the dandruff which is why I buy this brand.

It is reassuring to know that there is no nasties in it but I’d also like it if it actually didnt address dandruff. The shampoo is easy to pour out with a flip top lid and gentle squeeze. Lathers you’re very nicely like a creamy soap and washes out perfectly giving it a super clean feeling.

However, unfortunately my scalp become very itchy within a day or two and had to cease using this has been my experience with many hair products. It did however smell amazing and left my hair feeling very soft.

I don't like that it contains sulphates, the appeal about no silicones doesn't make much sense as conditioners are the ones that have them.

I would recommend that everyone try it as you may get different results.

The products felt heavy on my hair and overall made it quite dry. There wasn't any noticeable volume added to my hair. The smell was similar to the rest of the Head & Shoulder products. I still prefer to use the original formulations compared to the 0% Purify & Volume.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sulphates in shampoo, silicones in conditioner First of all, thank you BC and P&G for letting me trial the Head & Shoulders Supreme 0% Purify & Volume Shampoo. The shampoo is 200mL which is smaller than other Head & Shoulders products I used in the past (they were ~350-400mL). I wasn't sure if this is of a smaller size for just this particular line or has the overall product size been reduced for the brand. However, I find this size quite convenient for storage on shower caddy. The shampoo is a creamy lotion which lathers quickly upon massaging into hair. This shampoo claims to purify and volume which I absolutely agree. After using the shampoo and conditioner duo, the root of my hair is less oily, and I can get away with not washing my hair for many days to follow (especially in the current isolation situation!) However, the products (especially the shampoo) seem quite harsh on my hair and I find it knottier and drier than usual. I guess there has to be a trade off - can't have the best of both worlds. This duo is probably more suitable for those with oily hair. What I find very irritating though, is the marketing claims that it made both on the product and on BC product description. On the SHAMPOO bottle, it states "0% silicone". The shampoo in fact does not contain any silicone, but there's two problems to making such claim - ONE, the pairing conditioner is full of silicone (dimethicone), and TWO, a typical shampoo does not contain any silicone anyway (it is usually the conditioner which contains silicone, as silicone is a coating and smoothing agent). Moreover, the product description on Beauty Crew reads: "Head & Shoulders Supreme 0% Purify & Volume Shampoo is an anti-dandruff shampoo formulated without sulphates, parabens, silicones or colourants to assist in the maintenance of a healthy and protected scalp. The shampoo contains nourishing argan oil and a blend of antioxidants including vitamins A and E." which is simply not true. The shampoo contains SODIUM LAURETH SULPHATE as the second ingredient. Personally, I do not have any issues to use products containing sulphates or silicones in moderate amounts, as they do have their respective functions to enhance user experience. However, making this sort of misleading marketing claims is my absolute pet peeve, and for this reason I am not able to recommend this brand to anyone.
