GARGLES
Gargling with a povidone-iodine solution, such as Betadine Sore Throat Gargle, kills bacteria living in your mouth and throat, which reduces the number of bad bacteria that may be causing your sore throat.

DO NOT swallow the Liquid.
Although Betadine® Sore Throat Gargle is intended to be used in the mouth and throat, you must not swallow it. Gargling is a way to make sure that the product reaches the bacteria in your throat. DO NOT swallow the liquid.

I can’t take non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (like neurofen or panadol) and my throat felt like razor blades and this did nothing. i was extremely disappointed
