It does at it says: delivers immediate hydration that applies easily and absorbs quickly. I prefer this over the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration body lotion, as it’s the same product but different convenience and price levels. The lotion is light and moisturising. It nourishes my skin and removes the itchiness from dry skin I experience on my arms and legs (as I get older) unless I moisturise daily. I like how it’s fragrance free, light, nourishing and convenient. It’s been a delight to use and my skin has loved it!

I am 47yrs old with fair normal skin. My skin is a bit dry now with the colder weather though and I have some drier patches on my shins and arms. Packaging is simple and it’s easy to use with a pull off lid. Lots of product 207mls that will last a while. I used it daily for 2 weeks on my legs and arms after a shower. The nozzle sprayer delivers the product in a thick single stream as opposed to a full shower spray. When spraying on the body I find the fluid splatters on the body or near the body so it’s a bit annoying. You need to apply in small bursts to minimise this. I liked that the liquid is thick and white and doesn’t run off your body. It pretty much stays put until you massage it in. It rubs in easily and smoothly and spreads well. It has no scent and leaves skin feeling hydrated and smooth. It does leave a slight tacky feeling on the skin but that disappears after a few minutes depending on how much you use. After applying to the body I feel my hands are quite tacky/sticky and need to wash my hands after. I will continue to use this product and would recommend it to everyone.

I do appreciate the spray aspect of this body moisturiser but because of that the cream it’s self is thinner, for that reason probably better for summer. Absorbs quickly doesn’t take long to rub in like it says so you can get dressed after it so that a plus. Would be good for a every day cream not necessary to treat dry skin flare ups. No strong scent Not greasy Love the idea of the hyaluronic acid being in it already in particular in a body product cus I wouldn’t normally apply it to my body

I had a nice spray and doesn’t get stuck like others I’ve tried. The product itself is really nice, light but moisturising. It sinks in well and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. It’s got no scent and is very gentle I definitely need something richer for winter but this will be great for summer. It’s easy to throw into a bag for weekend trips away instead of a conventional tube or tub. It’s also great at my desk to spray a little on during the day when the ac has dried out my skin, the spray makes it so quick and easy.

The lotion slid too easily and had to rub it around a few times for it to absorb into the skin. It came in handy spray bottle though which I really like. I would not purchase but I have been using to quickly spray my legs rushing to work. Not as good as my normal creams and problems would not purchase. This Optimal Hydration Body Serum Spray has no smell and is not heavy nor too light in texture. It absorbed very quickly into my body and left no residue or tackiness. The spray function doesn’t quite spritz out well enough over areas of your body so you do need to spray and rub it in. After 2 weeks of daily use I feel smooth, soft, hydrated and my skin texture does seem to have improved.

Unfortunately, I did not find it very hydrating and had to follow up with another body lotion after. On the plus side, I had no reaction to this and I do think that it works well for sensitive skin. The product might be better suited to summer, but was not moisturising enough in winter. The product has a very neutral smell, so would be suitable to very sensitive skin. Overall, a nice product but most suitable for summer and would suit not dry skin.

The packaging was good, no clogging so far which is nice. Non perfumed and no irritation or reaction which is great! This works really well on dry skin, like, really well- but i used to a few times after having a shower and it wouldn't dry! I had to keep drying myself with the hairdryer. I couldn't get over just how long it stayed 'wet' for. I don't know what it is or why it did that, but i just don't have time for it. I won't be repurchasing.

I find when spraying it, half ends up on the bathroom mat. I do prefer a thicker consistency of moisturizer, personally, but this is good if you just want a light spritz. I tend to use this one in the morning and a thicker moisturizer in the evening. It does absorb really quickly and doesn't leave a greasy or heavy feeling on my skin. I like that it is unscented as a lot of scented creams are overpowering and leave a kind of sticky residue. This also means I can use it on my whole family which is great because I have two daughters with sensitive skin. We love the Cetaphil range so this complements other products perfectly.

It doesn't leave any greasiness on the skin and I really like that. It didn't feel like it provided much moisturisation to my skin, however, I don't think it would be suitable for me in winter, but may work in the summer months. I found the sprayer to be a little bit awkward. The lotion seemed to spurt out in a targeted direction and covered only in small area if the skin, meaning you still had to use your hands to spread the product. I felt the sprayer was a little unnecessary. I think this lotion is a nice light-weight summer moisturiser, but probably not one I would repurchase.

It's a decent 207ml size and the product itself is nice but I haven't found it as moisturising as I would have liked. It absorbs into the skin very quickly and has little to no scent but I feel like I need more of it very quickly. I much prefer the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Replenishing Body Lotion out of the two products and would recommend that over this one. Also I find the spray doesn't actually spray. It kind of spits out the product and goes everywhere and I was expecting a fine mist. For me, this one is not a winner unfortunately.

I have very dry skin and felt it melted nicely into my skin with no greasiness but definitely the need for a double layer. My skin felt hydrated most of the day and I used this also in conjunction with the cetaphil hydrating body cream which together really gave my legs a lovely glow. I would prefer to use the moisturiser lotion over the spray as it was more hydrating and less needed to hydrate my skin. The spray was more harder as it squirted instead of spraying in a fan like manner, which was more of an inconvenience than anything and I needed to spray more to get the double layer I needed to hydrate my skin. Maybe it just needs a little tweaking adding more of the lotion ingredients into it and fixing the spray lid to be more fan like than squirt and maybe perfection will be made.

Unfortunately, the Body Serum Spray did not live up to my expectations. It comes in a 207ml bottle with a spray dispenser. The dispenser releases a white liquid, however, you still need to rub this in. I would prefer a product that sprays a light mist, that does not require the extra step of rubbing in. It does absorb quickly once rubbed in. I have used the product for a fortnight and whilst nice, I haven't noticed a great difference in my skin's hydration. I am unlikely to purchase again, once this bottle runs out.

Alas, I was left a bit disappointed. The spray comes out in one blob, not really spraying, so I still had to distribute it around with my hands. They say it "absorbs quickly, without leaving a greasy residue" - but I have to wonder if the person who wrote the description actually used the product? My experience was that it left behind an awful greasiness, that did not absorb at all. In fact I found it almost sticky. I did not like the feeling of the product after application at all. I ended up using it at night, so the stickiness was less of an issue. It did leave my skin feeling hydrated though and I love that it is fragrance free. I will probably just continue to use this at night, but I won't repurchase. I have also tried the body lotion in this range and I definitely preferred the lotion over the spray.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ronel V. from A little goes a long way [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started trialling the Cetaphil® Optimal Hydration Body Serum Spray a week after trialling the Cetaphil® Optimal Hydration Replenishing Body Lotion. I definitely preferred the Cetaphil® Optimal Hydration Replenishing Body Lotion as compared to the Body Serum spray. I think my decision is based on how I don’t really like how the bottle works as I found it doesn't seem to spray very well, it seems to spray more everywhere than getting onto my skin. This body serum however absorbs instantly without leaving skin feeling greasy, so you can dress up right after. It leaves my skin soft and well hydrated and moisturised. It is fragrance free, hypoallergenic and paraben free, so this is great for people with sensitive skin and need to boost their skin health. The body spray moisturizer is extremely silky. I enjoy how smoothly it went on my skin. It does not leave my skin feeling oily or itchy like some moisturizers tend to do. The scent was very clean and pleasant. I only rated this product 3 stars because I am not exactly fond of the spray function. I Would have rated it higher if it maybe sprayed less per pump, as I feel like there was seemingly a lot of unnecessary over spray when trying to spray on areas such as arms or legs. So definitely an upgrade to the spray nozzle would be needed. The only way I could fix this issue was by spraying the lotion into the palm of my hand and applying it in that manner. I do like how it was not clumpy when coming out of the lotion bottle instead it was smooth and easy when sprayed. I also have to say that it is my first time trying a moisturizer in the form of a spray and i might just be a bit old school and prefer the old standard lotion bottle. I like the fact that the scent is not overpowering. It dries quickly into your skin right after you rub it in. My skin tends to be very dry especially as the weather is changing now to cooler days and this product really sunk into my skin and left my skin so well hydrated and moisturized the whole day which is a plus!!! I Sprayed my body and rubbed the lotion into my skin right after a shower every day which left my skin feeling amazing, like it was drinking the lotion and absorbing it all in. The packaging and labelling Is good and the instructions are easily to follow and read. I also feel the price is of good value. The one thing I like about this is that a little goes along way as when you do spray the lotion you don’t use that much as it rubs in all over your body with so much ease. It is very gentle to my skin and no redness or irritations were experienced. Thank you Beauty crew for letting me trial this product, I definitely enjoyed the experience and trying something new .

After a week or so I noticed a visible difference in the texture of my skin. This was particularly evident on my hands which are the most sun damaged area for me. It really mad a difference to how they looked. They looked much more hydrated. There was no scent to compete with in this product and it absorbed very quickly which saved time waiting for it to dry. The only reason for a reduced score of 3 stars was the packaging. As a spray it was quite ineffectual and when spraying legs or arms there was a lot of wasted product due to the random wide spray coming out. This needs to be addressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am one of the lucky review crew members who got a sample of this product. I am Asian in background and has sensitive and dry skin type, age 35-40 years. Packaging - the product comes in a plastic bottle with a standard spray nozzle. I find that the nozzle is quite tight and i need to press down quite hard to bring out the product. If you are travelling, this will not leak. Product - the product has a very light liquid lotion consistency. It is completely odourless and white in colour. Spreading it over the skin is not difficult but it dries up so quickly i have to use multiple sprays to cover my body, despite me only being 50kg. I will probably need 3-4 sprays for each arm. So overall, i need over 30 sprays to cover my whole body. As the product dries up so quickly, it is also difficult to tell if the product is absorbed by the skin or simply dried up. On the plus side, it definitely did not leave any greasy sensation on the skin after use. Effects - despite not leaving a greasy feeling, my skin definitely does not feel dry. However, personally i would prefer a cream with richer consistency and moisturising effect.

It really just doesn’t deliver the same hydration as creams or the intense and long lasting 48-hour hydration as it claims . I do like it that it absorbs easily and it really doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy and you can dress up right after. Pros is that it’s fragrance free, paraben free, clinically tested on sensitive skin. Con is that it’s just not hydrating enough and I need to layer it with some extra creams

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the packaging of this product lovely and sleek and modern while still being identifiable as Cetaphil. I love the idea of Body Serum Spray. Being disabled and with chronic pain I struggle reaching parts of ny body so a spray makes it alot easier and quicker. Alas this falls a bit short. I gave the bottle a good shake and sprayed it. It doesn't come out as a spray more in blobs of cream that you have to rub in still as it leaves blobs all over your skin. The product itself is lovely and creamy and absorbs well into the skin. It's non irritating to my sensitive skin and definitely helped dry patches.

This was a good size bottle. It also has no fragrence which is one of the things that i love about this new range. Did not really like this from the beginning. When you spray it it comes out in blobs then you have to rub it in. Was not happy with how much you have to spray to spread it around. Not sure if i received a dodgy bottle or if this is how they all spray. Not happy with the price of the bottle also. So would definitely not buy this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by linsay B. from Maybe not ideal for very dry skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try the Cetaphil® Optimal Hydration Body Serum Spray, which was exciting to me since I struggle to include applying body lotion to my post shower routine, so anything easier/ less time consuming was worth trialing! The Body Serum Spray is an interest concept and texture (un scented like the whole collection), however for people with dry to very dry skin, I don’t think the product is going to be sufficient. Application was very easy and it did not leave a greasy feeling to the skin. However my legs still felt like they needed a bit more TLC now that we’re heading towards colder months. In summary, it’s good for normal skin, for dryer types just head towards a richer cream. I also got to try the Replenishing Body Lotion and again I would no recommend for dry skin. Packaging is fairly simple, but does the job.

It was a bit of a learning curve as the first time I used it I did my legs first and rubbed it in, although when I went to spray my arms and body my hands were too slippery to use the spray pump properly. Hot tip is to spray your whole body first before using your hands to rub it in! The finish is slightly oilier than Im used to as I prefer a thick body moisturiser but was fun to try something different, but don't think I will repurchase.

Sadly though, this serum does a poor job of providing hydration where it’s needed. The first issue I found is the applicator. It sprays all over the place, not in the place you point and use it. I had spray all over my bathroom floor, trying to use it as intended. It also requires many repeat sprays to get enough of the actual product to provide hydration where it’s needed. As a person who has hand dexterity issues, I found this difficult to use. Others with arthritis would possibly also find this difficult. Secondly, I discovered the serum to be a bit sticky when applying it and first smoothing into the skin. After a while this ears off, but the feeling is not of instant hydration like the other options within this range. I tried it for a two week period, and found it didn’t really add anything to my routine, and created quite a mess in the process. I wouldn’t use this again.

For me, this product just wasn’t rich enough. I used it on my legs which are quite dry and it didn’t make much of an impact at all. I think it may suit someone with younger skin. I liked the idea of a spray bottle for travel, but had to make sure I had dry hands as my fingers would slip off the top of the spray bottle as I tried to apply it. I did like the lovely subtle hint of fragrance, and the serum was quickly absorbed into my skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky to have been sent the Cetaphil Optimal Hydration range for trial which includes their daily cream, eye serum, body spray, body lotion and activation serum. I have been quite pleased with the overall range but this body spray was probably the only let down. I found the spray not very user-friendly, at times the bottle would slip out of my hand when I press the spray. I was expecting the spray to disperse more evenly with a finer consistency. But instead of 'spraying' the serum/cream kind of shoots out quite intensely and ends up splashing back on my clothes. So it's not a spray you can quickly use just before leaving the house as it can be quite messy. But the serum itself is not greasy at all, dissolves against my skin nicely and hydrates very well.

This was short lived as I found this product definitely did not perform. The spray felt like water on my skin and there was no moisturising factor in my skin at all. The moisturiser product comes out very easy but has no consistency. I was really looking forward to having a product that says it has immediate and intense 48 hr hydration but to me lacked in all the areas. I definitely would not recommend this product at all. My skin felt like it had no moisturiser on it at all.
