The great plus that I look for is a natural sulphate-free shampoo - tick gently nourishes and cleanses hair - tick and not an crazy expensive shampoo - tick. It easily detangled my hard and the packaging is perfect for shampoos. Definitely recommended this for an everyday washing type of person - ie the wider family. This will defiantly become a stable in the grocery shop

I've used it multiple times over the past couple weeks and it leaves my hair super clean and soft. I keep getting compliments on how nice my hair smells. It isn't overpowering which I also like compared to many other brands with the same scent. I'm super impressed by Herbal Essences new range and will continue to purchase their products in the future! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for an everyday shampoo and conditioner as it keeps you super clean and isn't going to break the bank!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hair smells like heaven [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprisingly pleased with this product, having used salon hair products for years, I was not sure how a supermarket brand would compare. Only a small amount of the product was required to get a great lather, and paired with the conditioner my hair smelt gorgeous afterwards and was very soft. The outcome was much the same as the salon products I use, and I would definitely continue to use. The product also worked really well on my blonde highlighted hair, leaving it looking fresh and bright, and removing any brassy tones.

I’m loving the fact that it is free from sulphate, parabens, colourants and silicone and gives my hair and scalp a good clean while smelling fresh and the smell lasts a long time! I love that it contains 6x more aloe which is such a good ingredient for basically anything. Another love is that it is cruelty free! I really struggle to find products that suits my hair type and does the job and doesn’t make my hair heavy! I will definitely continue to use this product and might even try others in this product range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent product and subtle scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve previously tried another product in this line and found the scent to be a little overwhelming, so I was really excited to try the aloe and avocado oil version - I hoped that it would be a little more subtle. I definitely got my wish! The scent of this shampoo is lovely and refreshing, but also nourishing and not too overpowering. The cleansing power of this shampoo was decent, and able to clear away the build-up in my hair from a day or two. Not bad at all, but I did need to cleanse twice when I had used dry shampoo and any styling products during that time.

My hair is naturally thin and straight, from my first use of the shampoo and conditioner I was impressed. It smells absolutely delicious and unlike other hair products, it actually made my hair feel healthier than it is! As it says in its name it is potent.. so you do not need to use too much, as I learnt the hard way haha. I would recommend to anyone that has a hard time with their hair drying out, or looking to give their hair some nutrients. I will definately be keeping this in my hair care staples!

First of all, it smells phenomenal, after using it only twice I received so many compliments at work about how nice my hair smelt. It also feels like a high quality product for an affordable price which is great! It is extremely moisturising and makes my hair feel soft and clean without being drying or damaging like so many other shampoos I've tried. The only negative thing I can say is that if you're prone to having a more oily scalp, you may need to do a few more washes to keep your hair fresh. But if you have dry hair this is definitely the right shampoo for you!

I used this shampoo over a 3 week period since receiving it, and while I love the scent, I am not blown away by its performance. I was hoping for a truly sulfate free shampoo, but this product was not truly sulfate free, making it too harsh to use on my keratin treated hair. I wish products that identify as being sulfate free would truly be sulfate free. Otherwise, this shampoo is an average drugstore product, likely performs better than similar products available.

I’ve used it about three times along with the Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Conditioner and Herbal Essences bio:renew Argan Oil Hair Mask for Repair and they made my hair feel and smell lovely. These products work together very well. I love the packaging as well, it looks so fresh. I love that this range if free from silicones, and other nasties. I’ve tried one other shampoo & conditioner in their bio-renew range and I liked that as well, so I am keen to see what they come out with next.

I have frizzy, wavy hair and struggle to find a shampoo that doesn’t dry my hair out even more. I noticed that this left my hair feeling soft and smooth which is very rare for me when it comes to using shampoo. The scent is lovely but didn’t really last longer then a day for me. One downside is that my scalp felt like it got oiler faster. I usually wash my hair once a week but felt like after day 3-4 it needed washing again. Over all a pretty decent shampoo. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the market for something that does the job and smells nice. A great addition to the herbal essence range.

The only standout difference I would note is the scent. If you like a strongly scented shampoo this is definitely the one for you, but while refreshing at times, it did feel a little overpowering for me personally. I also would have preferred if the shampoo was able to be lathered more effectively. I found myself having to use quite a bit of product each time to cover my hair which was a little frustrating. Besides these details, I didn't find notice any differences in terms of results from most other shampoos I've used.

It smelt nice but wasn't the kind of sensorial shower experience I was expecting. It leave a hint of a nice smell on my hair for a few hours and then that disappeared which is again, fine. I don't expect my hair to smell fantastic for days to come but it didn't have a strong perfume scent I was expecting when I saw the bottle and read the description. It did leave my hair soft and it was easy to detangle - I don't know if it's the shampoo or the conditioner but I was surprised at how soft and tangle free my hair was after use

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Herbal essences seems to be a good brand everyone knows the name the package looked amazing and the smell was even better i thought it was going to be great I had high hopes with this brand since they have been around for a very long time now but it instantly made my hair all knotty and dry I didn't like it at all it didn't feel nourishing or amazing it just felt like it stripped my hair of all the good stuff and left it horrible Maybe i just have a different hair type then this shampoo needed but my hair is fairly normal I thought so not sure maybe its something they've added but if it works for you amazing I was hoping it was going to be my new go to but sadly not for me

So, I was excited to try this shampoo out and was disappointed when I didn’t like it. The Shampoo smelt really good and I felt like it washed my hair out well, except it left my hair more tangled than it usually is after shampooing. Even with using the accompanying conditioner, my hair was a lot dryer than usual. It became tangled and my hair became frizzier; the shampoo dried out my hair and it was a lot harder to manage. I think this shampoo would benefit someone with oiler hair as I felt like it stripped the oils out of my hair completely as my hair is on the drier side.

It smelt nice, wasn't anything to over the top. It did an ok job at cleaning my very long oily hair but I definitely needed to shampoo twice sometimes three times for it to feel clean. I found that by the second day my hair did need to be wash again. It did my hair soft and it was easy to detangle after washing but that’s about it. I did like that there is no sulphates. For the price I definitely think there are better quality shampoos out there.

Firstly the product had a lovely scent and lathered well in the shower. However I found this product did not agree with my straight hair which is easy to tangle. I found my hair really got quite knotted with this product and took a bit of work to detangle with my fingers and conditioner. I also felt that my hair was quite oily again sooner than my usual shampoo. In conjunction with the conditioner my hair did feel soft. But unfortunately it wasn't a winner for me.
